• Yuksel (2/5): Stressful checkout with inconsistent communication, plus hygiene and noise issues - Easy booking process. Cons: — Checkout confusion and fee pressure. On 20 Aug the host confirmed in writing that 13:00 would be the latest possible checkout. We booked a non-changeable airport transfer for 13:00–13:30 based on this (to keep price down). On 21 Aug morning, the host suddenly reverted to the 10:00 standard checkout, warned of additional-night charges and even mentioned contacting authorities if we didn't leave immediately. Despite our written confirmation that we wouldn't leave before 13:00 (as originally agreed), the host sent a cleaner at 10:00 AM who rang the doorbell persistently 3-4 times and caused a scene—speaking very loudly. We stuck to the agreed 13:00 time but faced constant pressure. Communication jumped between WhatsApp and Booking with inconsistent messages across platforms. — Noise. Apartment faces a busy street with thin window glazing—expect traffic/tram noise until late. Light sleepers beware. — Hygiene concerns. Dated furnishings, multiple overnight bites during our stay (likely insects), no mosquito screens. Kitchen extractor hood doesn't work—not connected—so when cooking, you can't open windows due to insects and cooking odors spread throughout all rooms. We saw medium-sized bugs in the bathroom twice and numerous tiny black flies of unknown origin throughout the apartment. Trash bins in the courtyard created unpleasant smells and flies. — Location/transport. Walking time to tram stop = walking time to Duomo (both ~15-20 min), so public transport doesn't save much time. Taxis are difficult to hail on the street, and app-based taxis cost 30-40% more than street taxis. Bottom line: The aggressive morning disruption with cleaner visits and last-minute checkout pressure created unnecessary stress on our final day. Combined with noise and hygiene issues, this is a 2/10 for us and we wouldn't return. If you book: keep all communication on Booking, save screenshots, and consider a virtual card for payments.
• Nuria (9/5): Cómodo para ir en familia - Habitaciones amplias y apartamento con todo lo necesario. Destacar la amabilidad del personal. No hay microondas. Si vas con coche, mejor buscar algo con parking porque es imposible aparcar sin pagar.
• Conchi (9/5): Alojamiento con carácter y estilo - Es un apartamento con mucho encanto, se respira la historia del lugar, muy bien conservado y muy bien equipado, amplio y funcional, y muy bien situado. Anfitriones muy agradables y serviciales. No hay nada que señalar
• Pierre (4/5): - Bel appartement d'intérieur, meublé avec goût. L'appartement se trouve à côté d'une route fréquentée et est très mal insonorisé. Les serrures ne fonctionnent pas bien.
• Mara (4/5): Disappointing - The location close to the Bocconi university The property (an ancient house) is close to a very noisy street and unfortunately the glasses of the windows are so thin that couldn’t prevent you from hearing the noise of the cars racing at night. For me it was very difficult to fall asleep.
