• Felix (7/5): Nice room with good location, but bad communication - The room is well maintained and in a good location. It is not a hotel, so don't expect any staff on site. You can check-in anytime with a code, which means it doesn't matter if you arrive late at night. Communication beforehand was a disaster, as you only text with AI chatbots on Whatsapp and booking.com with pre-written copy-and-paste messages. That simply doesn't work very well. It feels like a very unpersonal treatment, and you get the feeling like no actual human actually cares if you have a nice stay or if you need anything. It seems that the whole concept of this accomodation is a real-estate investment of a company, which doesn't want any additional work with this accomodation and just want's some passive income. I'm aware every business is an investment, but you usually don't feel it that much as a customer. Here you do, so be aware of that before you book. However, the room itself is nice. On another note, I also really don't understand the idea of a see-through glass wall for a toilet.

• Angelika (1/5): Da wurden drei Zimmer für Touris reserviert gegen den Willen der Haus Bewohner und die waren dann sauer auf die Touris - Die Lage war super Zimmer schön renoviert und stylisch dekoriert, leider alles von Ikea Es gab kein Tageslicht, ich hatte drei Nächte gebucht, drei Nächte nicht geschlafen. Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig, vor allem die Mieter im zweiten Stock waren sehr sehr laut, außerdem hörte man regelmäßig die Klo Spülung Ich fühlte mich nicht sicher alleine im Haus /Zimmer. Wasser war nicht verlässlich warm

• Maria Pia (8/5): - La posizione è formidabile, perché ti consente di essere vicino alla città vecchia e alla parte più commerciale di Bilbao. Gli spazi sono molto ridotti e il bagno scomodo. La scelta di mettere il wc separandolo con un vetro trasparente è sbagliata, anche per questione di privacy. Inoltre, l’host potrebbe organizzare un deposito bagagli al piano terra , visto che non è consentito agli ospiti di poter godere di un deposito dopo l’orario del check out.

• Laura (9/5): Great location, value for money - The perfect location in the old town for exploring. The rooms are comfy and well presented. Very modern and clean. The communication with staff was excellent and they were more than helpful. Great to have the option of a communal kitchen downstairs and little touches like water and coffee were very welcome. There is a need for some hooks/coat hangers on the wall, this was needed as we were in Bilbao on a very rainy weekend. Personally I would definitely stay again, but if you want more than a base and somewhere to sleep this may not be for you. There wasnt much natural light or privacy (glass walls are not for everyone)

There was used dental floss in the bathroom and broken glass near the shower. So much dust that other people had drawn lewd images in the dust and it wasn’t cleaned.

• João Fradique (10/5): Spectacular stay – Highly recommended! - Everything was spectacular! The location is superb, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. I especially want to highlight the constant availability of the cleaning staff; every time I ran into them, they were more than happy to provide fresh towels and assist with anything I needed. Additionally, having a kitchen on the lower floor is extremely useful, as it allowed me to keep some items in the fridge. It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend Rock and Rooms!

• LARA (6/5): - Estuvimos en la habitacion num 90 y escuchábamos absolutamente todo lo de la habitación de al lado. Todo muy bonito (ducha, accesorios…) pero no son de buena calidad. Los dispensadores de los jabones se caían y el soporte de la ducha también. El espacio es justito. No hay mucho espacio para poner el equipaje o bien colgar ropa. La decoración me encantó, de hecho es igual que en las fotografías. Cama cómoda pero para personas altas un poco justa. Limpieza correcta y el personal que nos encontramos durante la estancia fue muy agradable y se interesó por nuestra estancia.

• Katy (8/5): Espectacular por el precio - Nos quedamos un par de noches en este hotel de Bilbao y la verdad es que, por 40 € la noche, poco más se puede pedir. La ubicación es espectacular, justo en pleno casco viejo y cerca absolutamente de todo: pintxos, tranvía, tiendas… lo que quieras. La habitación es pequeña, sí, pero tiene todo lo necesario. No la recomendaría para más de 2 o 3 noches, y mejor venir en pareja o con alguien con mucha confianza, porque el baño y la ducha están separados del resto por una cristalera semitransparente… y digamos que la intimidad brilla por su ausencia. Pero oye, si eso no te importa, es difícil encontrar algo así a este precio. El diseño tipo industrial está muy chulo y todo funcionaba perfectamente. La única pega fue que encontramos una cápsula de café usada en la máquina al entrar. Nada grave: se tira a la basura, se sigue con la vida y ya está, no hay necesidad de tragedias. La habitación tiene dos ventanas que se pueden abrir para ventilar. ¿Vistas al mar, a la montaña o al Etna en erupción? No, amigos, por 40 € tampoco pidamos milagros. Mi recomendación: abrir en vertical y así esquivas el muro de enfrente, te entra aire fresco y todos felices. La cama era cómoda, había tele, espacio para colgar ropa y una mesita donde dejar tus cosas. Si vienes esperando un hotel de 5 estrellas, con botones que te aparque el coche, maletas que vuelan hacia tu habitación y chocolates nocturnos en la almohada… este no es tu sitio. Pero si lo que quieres es Bilbao a un paso, un lugar cómodo para dormir, ducharte y poco más, lo recomiendo al 100%. Además, la atención del alojamiento fue muy buena. Sin duda volveríamos a quedarnos aquí si pasamos de nuevo por Bilbao. ¡Muchas gracias y hasta la próxima!

• Katherine (1/5): Fiasco total. Cancelamos por pésimas condiciones de limpieza - Nada. Cuando llegamos a la habitación la puerta principal no cerraba. La habitación estaba completamente sucia. Las sábanas llenas de pelos, manchas y muy arrugadas. Un baño público hubiese estado más limpio… Se nota que el servicio de limpieza no había pasado por allí en varias semanas. Era claustrofóbico. Habitación completamente negra para ocultar la suciedad. Las ventanas daban a una especie de patio, en el que habían calcetines y basura acumulada. Solicite la cancelación y devolución del dinero por las condiciones tan deplorables de la habitación. No se lo recomiendo ni q mi peor enemigo.

Hay muy poco espacio en torno a la cama (menos de 20cm en algunas partes). La única ventana daba a un patio enano sin luz. Un auténtico zulo. Además no tiene recepción, por lo que no es posible dejar las maletas al salir Por último, nos dejamos allí un Kindle y "misteriosamente" nadie lo encontró, algo que vemos muy difícil porque estamos seguros de que se quedó allí

• CLAUDIO (7/5): Perfetto per poche notti e se è da soli - Arredato con gusto - moderno - purtroppo senza grande ricambio d’aria (la stanza 90) perché le finestre danno su un cortile interno non luminoso , ma comunque decisamente ok per stare poche notti. Posizione fantastica nel quartiere vecchio . Unico neo: pulizia non ottimale (capelli sul pavimento - io sono calvo ) e anche la macchinetta del caffè grande idea ma magari va tolta la capsula usata ehehee. Si sentono le voci di chi arriva ma ripeto . Tutto bene . A me è piaciuto per rapporto prezzo/qualità. C’è stata anche disponibilità nell’anticipare un po’ il check in . Un po’ buio per le finestre che danno su un corridoio interno con poco ricambio d’aria . Igiene migliorabile . Ascensore non funzionava . (Ma ero al primo livello)

• Starry (1/5): The worst nightmare! - Nothing This is a nightmare, avoid it at all costs!!! We booked this for one night. The communication is close to nothing and you will only receive a code from a management company whom doesn’t care about this property at all. We asked to drop our luggage earlier, they said they will let us know when the room is clean, no follow up at all despite we sent a few more messages. It makes sense what happened later, they outsourced the cleaning and don’t take any responsibility to this. - Sheet was not changed! We found out at the end of a long day, just getting on bed. We found dozen of hairs, long and short, different colours, curly and straight, you name it. It was ON and UNDER the bedsheet. Yellow stains everywhere. - we texted them immediately and they replied that they are my hair. Completely ridiculous. And later admitting that they have no idea because they are outsourced by the property to do communication and the cleaning is done by yet another outsourced company. They blame their fault to the customers and later refuse to response nor refund. And this is also my last time using booking.com. They provide absolutely no help while charging a high fees. This is the WORST place and experience. Please don’t waste your money and get yourself into this shitty experience as I did.

A considerar, puede ser que para el café no había para revolver y en mi habitación no tenia secador de pelo ni cuelga toalla en la ducha. Aclaro que solo en la mía, porque en la otra que teníamos tenia todo. Hotel muy funcional y muy recomendable.

I definitely didn't like the whole glass walled toilet. even with your partner, the absolute lack of privacy was a bit intimidating. If you can live with that, then this place is great

• Petra (5/5): Man muss sich darauf einlassen und genau schauen, was man will - Lage war super. Wir waren von einem Hotel ausgegangen. Wer länger als 2-3 Tage bleiben möchte hat leider keinen Roomservice bekommen. Wir waren 10 Tage dort. Leider wurden deshalb weder die sehr großzügige Dusche gereinigt, noch hatten wir neue Bettwäsche oder Handtücher. Eher wie ein Airbnb, nur ohne Küche.
