Guest Reviews
- Nichols (10/5): -
- Michael (9/5): - Location Pillows too soft
- Amanda (1/5): Go somewhere else - If you are looking to stay at a motel, look no further. For the same price you can get a private Airbnb that is clean and spacious. It is noisy, people smoke right in the parking lot outside your windows, it was not clean. However it is right in the center of town which really is the only selling point. There is a labyrinth of hallways to get to the pool and a separate one to get to the sauna. You could smell people microwaving fish. Dog pee on the hallway carpet. There is nowhere to put your ski gear in the unit. The heater / ac was so loud making a ton of noise. You can hear every step in the hallway, in the upstairs and in the adjacent units. There was hair in the bed. Delightful experience. Big time no.
- Maria Victoria L (10/5): - Did get to stay but Brett from Front was able to help accordingly

- Maria (9/5): Good value, location and friendly staff. - Location is great, staff is pretty friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and I love that is pet friendly with a special pet area. The bar was closed, it’s only open in the peak season unfortunately.
- Richie (5/5): It’s okay and close to everything. But don’t expect too much. - The resort was close to the main heart of the town and walkable. The spa was full and you could not go in anymore and the people didn’t leave. The hot chocolate in the lobby was out and I asked the front desk about it and he just said they are out for the night at around 8:30pm when they said the lobby area was open 24/7 and they have hot chocolate, coffee and tea. I had the tea but the water in the pot was not hot.
They also didn’t clean our room, I guess we had to request that in between days of our visit.
- Zaida (9/5): Nice place. Will stay there again - Stayed in a cabin which was nice and roomy Just suggest towel racks in the bathroom, more towels in the cabin, bigger trash can in the kitchen
- Doris (9/5): I liked everything at this resort. - The fireplaces burning around the grounds and in the lounge were inviting. I appreciated the coffee and hot chocolate, etc., being available 24 hours. The pool, spa, and other amenities were resort-like. Property was well maintained;staff attentive. The AC/heater began making an unbelievable loud noise at bedtime so we turned it off. Subsequently I was very cold all night and couldn’t find warmer bed covers. Used pillows to try to keep warm.

- Ramin (9/5): This was second time staying here and i am very happy overall. - Clean/ close to bus stop/ friendly staff/ nice amenities/ hot tub/ nice vibe/ cozy lobby On payment they weren’t aligned with booking.com and if i was not paying attention i was getting charge extra!
- taeyoung (8/5): -
- Mathieu (9/5): weekend ski - we booked a small cabin, it was great, no shared wall.
the complex is good, with bars, restaurant, sauna, pool, ... the sauna was not hot. it was disappointing but the rest was working.
- Eric (5/5): Small rooms, view of parking lot - Staff friendly, bar area cute, beds comfy and clean. Parking free. You can walk to restaurants and shops. View of parking lot, very small rooms. Price is high for what you get. Hotel looks a lot nicer in photos. Must ask to have room cleaned.
- James (5/5): Meh - Basic. Clean. On bus line to base area of ski resort Not value for money. Basically revamped older property. Some guests vape and it smells up the halls.
- Ryan (1/5): - They hide their extremely high resort fee until you've already paid. It's so shady.
- Eugenia (10/5): Super friendly, comfortable - Everything
- Kelly (10/5): Perfect place to stay! - Everything! The lovely location, helpful staff, the facilities. Nothing not to like!

- Megan (9/5): It was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. - The staff was very kind and friendly. The site was beautiful and had easily accessible food and amenities. I loved the map of the details of the hotel and local places to eat. There is a water refill station and 24 hour coffee. There were no towels at the pool, but the front desk provided them.
- Mira (10/5): Staff was excellent, hotel is awesome and beautiful stay all around in mammoth at Outbound . Thank you - Great renovation and facilities here. All good
- Stefanie (10/5): -
- Naomi (3/5): Dated, noisy and a maze hallways full of junk. - A maze of out of date unclean rooms and halls. So many rooms with debris outside the doors: across from us was a pile of food in the hallway. Down the hall was a dirty toilet brush in the hallway. The closet is in the bathroom where everything gets damp. All carpets extremely unclean. The HVAC has the noisiest fan imaginable. Impossible to sleep without masking the fan. A dump in need of cleaning and updating for $217 a night. No breakfast.
- Allie (8/5): Enjoyed our stay at this hotel - Great hotel, location, amenities, lobby is awesome, great for lobby life (wish the bar was open while we were there, it was closed due to do low occupancy). loved location - walkable to plenty in old part of Mammoth, shuttle top to village and lifts right out front. kids enjoyed hot chocolate in the morning. Sauna didn't work properly (was looking forward to this amenity!), lobby bar was closed (it's an awesome lobby so was bummed it was closed), thin walls (can hear your neighbors - if you're sensitive to noise bring a sound machine) and outdated, though comfortable, rooms

- kevin (6/5): - Very central location, calling distance to ski buses, grocery shopping, dining. Had large room with almost full kitchen, spacious with family. Expensive hidden fees not disclosed until time of check in. Barely enough parking, had to scramble to get a place (due to limited snow removal—had snowed 5 feet in previous 3 days). While I understand challenges of snow removal, when paying over $600/night, I better get decent parking.

- xthemadgenius (10/5): Lovely stay - Great place, loved the staff, amazing snow day in the hotel and super close to the mountains Staff was friendly
- Melissa (10/5): - A lot to offer and amazing new condo rooms!
- Paige (10/5): - Outbound has amazing rooms and customer service i love the new rooms and overrall vibes
- Michael (7/5): -
- Yan (9/5): - Came for a ski trip. The location is wonderful. There are green line shuttle stop (#44) and red line shuttle stop (#110) right next to the hotel. Vons is within walking distance. The jacuzzi and pool are of decent size, warm and clean. We booked one of the two bedroom condos and got a bigger size unit with two bedrooms and a loft, plus two working wood fireplaces and three bedrooms. There's plenty of storage space in each bedroom and enough hooks for all our ski gear which I really appreciated. The kitchen has everything. There's a washer and dryer in our unit which we didn't use. They provide full size bottles of hand soap and lotion in each bathroom, and more than enough towels, and bath robes for everyone for the pool. There are four TVs and the main one in the living room is a curved screen. Even though there are plenty of windows for lighting during the day. At night time our unit is so dark. There's only one out of five spotlights on the ceiling above the kitchen that's working. The vent light above the stove is dead. The bedroom lights aren't always connected with wall switches you have to turn them on each manually.

- Kevin (8/5): Son broke his arm and we were unable to continue snowboarding but no refund for early departure?? - Pet friendly! No decent (healthy) food options on site. Crepe truck was okay.
- Agoston (9/5): For a last minute, weekend trip it was fantastic! - Friendly and helpful staff, along with an extremely pet friendly atmosphere. The restaurant/bar had good vibes with a huge welcoming fireplace, great drinks and delicious food. The room was really small and could use some modernization to make it feel brighter.
- Tarzy (8/5): -
- Camberos (10/5): -
- Marcela (10/5): -
- Javier (6/5): - The hotel in general is nice, the coffee truck, and the restaurant. The room was generally worn out, and the complimentary coffee wasn't replenished in the room. The Bathroom could use some touch-up, a little larger trash can, and maybe a second trash can in the room. The room didn't feel "tidy" or really clean.
- Schatzi (9/5): - Good location. Close to restaurants. Nice heated pool and hot tube.
- Monika (8/5): -
- Mayda (7/5): - Beautiful people, beautiful place. It was a good stay the only thing that was a s.all. negative was the tub didnt drain all the water. It contained it.
- Kanoknat (10/5): -
- Sepideh (8/5): -
- sagi (5/5): -
- Maksim (6/5): A bit overpriced for what you get - Location is nice overall No breakfast, no hangers in the rooms. Hole in the wall near heater
- Doyun (7/5): -
- JOHN (6/5): Fell short of the hype. Weird little things missing or uncomfortable. -
- Narine (7/5): - I liked the cabin. Very comfortable for family stay. The hotel was not clean . The cleaning service was slow, we were with a big group 9 family. 2 room had a restroom water lick. Room service came after calling a few time. The hotel was full , shortage of cleaning personal.
- Weilin (8/5): Worth the money, but upgrade to a cabin if you want a maximum experience - The location is amazing, and the room is cozy. The bathroom is a bit old.
- Giovanni (6/5): - The location everything is within walking distance. Also enjoyed the swimming pool. Only one game functioned properly in the arcade. There was never any complementary coffee made in the lobby. All the gym equipment was broken except one stationary bike. The sauna was broken and the steam room was shut off.
- Justin (10/5): Beautiful hotel and location with plenty to do for adults, kids, dogs, and families. - The location is great and in the heart of Mammoth. The staff was friendly. There was plenty of restaurants nearby. Square footage of the room was small, making for tight quarters.
- Brian (9/5): Great hotel with ideal location and simple and appreciated amenities - Always great service from staff, jacuzzi is perfect, rooms are exactly what you need. Wish there were still robes placed in the rooms. They are necessary to get to/from the jacuzzi and sauna, but also make the room expeei nice feel that much more elevated.
- Craig (8/5): Good - The hallways were a little dirty.
- Kurt (7/5): Overall for one night, our stay was fine, not outstanding. - We liked that the room had two beds as we requested and was clean and comfortable. The room was compact for two full beds. We booked the Outbound because the website indicated they had an onsite restaruant and bar. Unfortunately neither was open during our visit. Happily, good food was within walking distance.
- April (10/5): I’ll be back!!!! - The awesome vibe and the staff!!!!
- Antony (10/5): Excepcional.
- Miu (9/5): -
- Dolev (10/5): -
- Osman (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Loved it! - Very cute, very social centric, and I loved how dog friendly it is! The resort fee was steep on top of the price
- megan (10/5): -
- M. Lina (8/5): Decent hotel, but double check if room is ready. - The location was great and our apartment was very clean. We were able to watch our children play outside yet stay inside the apartment. They did have a restaurant onsite which was good and well priced. I didn't like that we had to wait almost two hours to check in after the promised check-in time. We had food that we had picked up at the store to be refridgerated and other products that needed to be put in the freezer. There were numerous families that were turned away at 4:00pm booking time. They seemed short staffed, they couldn't provide rooms at the checkin time and they didn't seem to have extra towels, etc either. They didn't seem to bothered by it, just stating the rooms weren't ready with a smile and moving on to the next person.
The apartment was a little pricey but our usual place was already booked for the weekend, but with the location it's understandable.
- Kimberly (1/5): -
- Mayra (8/5): Nice for location but not quality. - I do love the location and that's about it. The beds and linens are awful. The pillows are the worst. The heater is extremely loud so you can't have it on at night when it's freezing cold out. Uncomfortable over all for the amount we paid a night. I don't like that anyone has access to the buildings without a key fob. Anyone can open the doors and walk into the hall ways and rooms. Security would be nice. It's just too easy to access. Safety is big especially with children.
- Sanchez (10/5): -
- Shane (5/5): The pool and jacuzzi made the trip - Pool and jacuzzi Nothing like pictures. Room stunk and carpet in hallway was gross. Rooms very small
- Steve (5/5): Place need to work on things - The location was great. Had a great time, they have a nice spot. Our TV would not work. It would never except the WiFi password. Made staying o. The room a bore fest. My son was not happy

- Claire (9/5): -
- Jesrel (8/5): -

- Will Mejia (8/5): Over all the stay was great, from desk and all personnel on property were great and vey professional - I like the availability and rates given for the time my family and I were traveling. The feel and look of the hotel, the professionalism of the staff. Will certainly return in the future. The room we were assigned was ADA compliant, the only bad feature is the shower with no containment lip or a greater drainage slope seemed spread water through out the bathroom. We had to utilize the provided towels as a containment barrier. A cause for concern is water intrusion in walls.
- Michelle (10/5): The perfect getaway that’s bougie on budget! In love! - Perfect location, walking distance to many dining options. Sierra bar right next door is so convenient but you can not beat the onsite wine bar ONSITE with a sommelier. For the cost per night, I was in awe. New Fav spot. I have nothing bad to say!
- Jo (8/5): We will be back! - Location Other guest’s noise at 4am…TV noise and excessive coughing.
- Paris (10/5): Perfect! - The property was perfect! We stayed for only one evening on my man’s birthday. We have a dog and the property was extremely dog friendly, they even had a dog park! The front desk staff, sommelier at the wine bar, and bar manager at the main restaurant were all fantastic and went above and beyond. The location is perfect! We walked to dinner and drinks. We will absolutely stay here again! Great love! Comfortable clean new all the great things!!! Nothing
- Kevin Woolen (10/5): Wonderful place in a spectacular setting. Close to what you want to see and do in the area. - We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We liked the location and views as well as the hotel amenities. We liked that it was service animal friendly. I have no comments, we were satisfied with the stay.
- Michael (9/5): -
- Costello (9/5): Full service dog friendly hotel with a great staff in the heart of Mammoth Lakes - We were looking for a dog friendly hotel and Outbound certainly likes pets! They took our dog's picture and posted it on their pet wall. They also had water and treats available and a nice dog run.
For humans, there was a nice wine bar, cozy seating area with a large evening fireplace and a tea/coffee bar 24/7. We did not use the pool, spa or sauna but those were also available. We were able to walk next door to Bar Sierra for a delicious burger, music and great wait staff. I would say that the room was dated and the rug looked pretty old but we also requested a dog friendly room so maybe the other rooms are newer.
- Chloe (10/5): - Incredible.
- Patrik (9/5): - Naprosto skvele - Vnitrni krb, venkovni posezeni u ohne, paradni lokalita a ciste pokoje
