- Kaleemula (7/5): There were some initial hiccups, but overall, the stay was satisfactory. - Rooms are good, clean, the location is good, and good restaurants close by. 1. There is no dedicated reception at the hotel. 2. Two inexperienced young staff members manage the counter, and all operations go through a centralized office. 3. For every request, the staff must communicate with this office via phone or WhatsApp. 4. They have very little control over operations, as the central office manages everything. 5. The check-in process takes more than an hour for everyone due to the unprofessional staff, who are often interrupted by phone calls and other requests. 6. I was initially assigned a room within a suite. All rooms within the suites have no key to lock the door, and there is no safety locker to secure valuables. 7. After 24 hours, I was moved to a new room on the upper floor, directly above my previous one. 8. Additionally, the water heaters are of a small capacity, sufficient only for washing your face. As a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineer specializing in designing services for hotels, I can easily identify these shortcomings. 9. They don’t provide any receipts for the payments.
