Guest Reviews
- Jiadi (2/5): Outrageous staff - On the very first day of check-in, we discovered that the door lock was broken and we could not lock the door from the inside. A repairman was sent the next day to fix it, but the issue was not resolved. Instead, on the second repair attempt, the technician removed the door handle, and after that, the door could not be opened at all once locked. As a result, we were locked out of the unit for 29 hours, and unable to re-enter the apartment.
Our personal belongings, including our phones, were inside. We were forced to spend the night elsewhere and could not access the unit until the third evening, when the lock was finally repaired.
During this time, both the landlord’s agent and maintenance personnel attempted and failed to open the door. The entire building management and property staff were aware that the door was completely stuck and inaccessible. Despite this, the property representative later refused our request for compensation and gave false and unreasonable excuses — including the claim that “your belongings were safe inside,” so there is no loss.
This reasoning is entirely absurd. We did not rent a storage locker — we rented an apartment to live in, and the fact is, we were denied access to our room for over 29 hours due to no fault of our own. We also experienced significant mental stress, disruption to our schedule, and had to invest a great deal of time and energy dealing with this unacceptable situation.
To make things worse, the property representatives’ attitude throughout was dismissive, passive, and hostile. The chat history clearly reflects their unwillingness to take responsibility, and the final rejection was based on false claims that do not match the actual facts. Everyone involved knows the lock was never functional during that period.
