Guest Reviews
- Sukanya (7/5): It's an average hotel . - Access to the beach & Shops Staff & smell
- Paweł (7/5): -
- john (6/5): Was ok - Location Stay 5 nights never change my bedding or towels at all during my stay 🤔
- Nayara (9/5): -
- David (2/5): -
- Carla (5/5): Precisa de actualizar - Da localização Alojamento com mobiliario estragado, danificado, não tinham pequeno almoço continental, apenas o tipico Inglês.
- Sam (1/5): Terrible - I didn’t even stay in the property and I got charged they cancelled on me make it make sense Everything
- Derek (8/5): - Staff were brilliant, bed was good. Furnishings had a hard life.

- Przemysław (10/5): - Lokalizacja świetny personal. Wszystko ok.
- Annette (4/5): I hope it improves but for now I wouldn't stay - The staff were lovely, it's a real pity the rooms let this dpwn The room was awful, marks on the carpet, mold on the curtains, broken light fittings and window seals broken and filthy. There is new management so I'm hoping that this will improve
- Lindsey (7/5): Lovely - Close to the beach and town Bit dated but it has just been taken over so look forward to see what they do with it. Shower had no hot water but staff were amazing and offered a new room
- Luke (3/5): -
- Sharla-Mae (3/5): Poor standards for a hotel!! - The location of the property was good. The amenities in the area would close which was useful. The staff were pleasant. The room wasn’t great. I went to use the hairdryer it started to smoke and then a fire came out of it. I had quickly cut it off. The room filled with smoke quickly. The bathroom tap broke off when I turned it on. The ceiling light was botched together. The plug for the bath did fit so was unable to have a bath which I needed due to my fibromyalgia. The room was a bio-hazard. Was so scared to use anything in there in case something else happened. There is a lot of work needed in this hotel. Really I should have had half my money returned because it was totally unacceptable. I have been itching so much since returning home yesterday. All my clothes need to be washed in a high heat. Not a great experience, I’m sorry!
- Owen (6/5): I needed a bed for the night. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, for £35 that’s all needed. If you want a nice - Close to the sea, the town, bars, shops, etc Very poorly maintained. It’s cheap for a reason.
- Gemma (1/5): LESSON LEARNT, READ REVIEWS - I had booked one night in Bournemouth knowing this wasn't going to be a luxury hotel, however on arrival I was literally reduced to tears. Beyond outdated, the hotel is unclean, smells of stale cigarettes and on entering the hotel room, there were cigarette ends on the carpet by the window (and also a random fruit pastel). I refused to stay the night; I am no hotel snob but this place was disgusting, there was loose tobacco in the bedside table and the hairdryer did not look safe for use. After 3 weeks of back and forth between booking.com and the hotelier, I finally received my refund, although slightly less than I was owed, but I am willing to write this off so that I can put the whole experience behind me.
- Iulian Petrisor (10/5): - Very very good
- Mahtabul islam (7/5): - Staff
- Kd Sylari (9/5): - Location was good considering the price paid The way you pay for parking its a bit misleading cheap though at £7.50 for 24 hrs
- Theresa (5/5): - Staff were very helpful and friendly Bass are very uncomfortable couldn’t get any sleep.

- Yıldırım (1/5): - Don't go there west of money dirt ,smell ,rusty shower ,just dont go there.
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Mandy (1/5): Reasonable price on face of it but really dirty and tired - Location is great for town Dirty - mould in shower, cold water only, bare bed bases, hair on floor, cobwebs, curtains hanging off, drawers very strained
- Paul (2/5): Shit hole - Comfortable beds Crack in window.tv only got prime no normal channels.Room smelt funny. No hot water for shower in morning.lift was as big as a coffin fit one person.
- Mark (1/5): Do not stay here! - Location was quite good Hotel was tatty and not clean. The view was of the sea but obscured by the dirty windows. I had booked a twin room, which had a double and a single but no one could have slept in the single. Really uncomfortable with springs poking through. So I ended up sharing the double with my mate.
TV only had apps and no terrestial channels. Sometimes there were very dodgy people hanging around outside smoking weed. On our first night our room key stopped working and we were given the master key! In light of events in Travel Lodge recently it seems unbelievable that 2 men would be given a master key to keep for 2 nights.
On the Saturday night incredibly loud music came from the bar, so loud the windows were actually shaking in the room. When I called the number to complain I was simply told that it was loud because our room was above the bar and the music would stop at midnight. No attempt to turn it down even though there appeared to be no paying guests in the bar. Also they had advertised that they would be showing football and no mention of an Eastern European rave!.
Next morning there was an incredibly stoned man behaving very strangely in the carpark, looking for cigarette ends.
We couldn't wait to leave and certainly won't be back.

- Robert (8/5): -
- Julie (5/5): The place was shabby but bed was clean and it was convenient to stay after watching a show at the Pavillion - Location Windows didn’t close properly and wind whistled in all night. Filthy windows too.
- Laurentiu (9/5): Overall, it was a pleasant experience. - We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean, and the room was tidy and comfortable. The staff was fine, and the breakfast was decent. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit old and could use some renovation.
- Sonny (5/5): Cheap enough but wouldn’t return. - The bar downstairs was good, and it was close to the town centre. Bed was comfy. The sink wouldn’t drain, the bath was dirty and taps didn’t work. Rooms were okay but not great. Could hear people from the other rooms all night. Sockets didn’t work.

- Jesusete (7/5): -
- Vicky (7/5): -
- Erin (5/5): - The hotel was in a good spot! Helpful staff The room was like a sauna, and there was no way to turn the heating off, it was such an uncomfortable sleep, and only one small widow to open,, there was no hot water after 2 showers, luckily the children had those 2! The electric went off the next morning which was a pain, as things needed to be charged and to make a morning coffee, we went down to breakfast early because of this, to which we felt we had only just made breakfast in time due to no tables set up and the poor chef leaving straight after he handed our breakfast, this was at 09:20 better signage would of been appreciated if this was the case.
- MONIKA (8/5): I had a very nice stay, all I needed was in my room. - Great location, cosy rooms, pleasant environment and very friendly and helpful staff. Paid parking
- md mahbubur (1/5): -
- Vinayan (6/5): -
- Reda (10/5): Good location friendly staff - Friendly staff
- Richard (5/5): -
- Lay Lay (4/5): Not great. - Location. Closed to the pier and other amenities Old and outdated building. Regret booking for breakfast. The smell of mole and looked so depressing. Having to wait English breakfast. I hav never heard of serving breakfast only one hour between 9 am to 10 am and making us wait for about 40 minutes. The cutlery and coffee cups are dirty. They should remove that breakfast option if they don't know how to run that service so other people dont disappointed like we did.
- Louise (4/5): -
- Anastasiia (6/5): -
- Tracy (7/5): Good stay , but probably won’t be back due to the noise and windows. - Great location , lovely big room. The noise from traffic, windows definitely need double glazing, the only window that was able to open was broken so couldn’t open it.
- Paul (3/5): - Location Paying extra for parking
Disruption caused by private party
People smoking at the entrance
Noise on the 3rd floor all night People being loud in the corridor from 0200 to 0630
- england (2/5): -
- John (9/5): - Staff were lovely, location fabulous. They're in the process of refurbishing and couldn't do enough for us.
- Jim (4/5): Ok - Great location
Really comfy bed
Staff were friendly and helpful Everything a bit tired, In need of updating.
Shower not good.
Water not very hot.
Room carpet could do with a replacing along with furniture
- Warren (3/5): -
- Paul (1/5): - The bed No toilet paper no spoon for cup of tea smells of weed ie drugs dirty cigarette ends in hallway
- Kaeleigh Dee (6/5): Wouldn't spend more then 1 night here. - The location is great, just a few minutes walk to Bournemouth pier. The bathroom wasn't clean, dirt around the bath. The beds were okay, comfortable enough for 1 night. The lift barely fits 1 person in with a small suitcase. The place is like a maze! Wouldn't stay here again if I had the choice. Very dated, not very clean, no sea views considering how close it is to the sea. There was no soap at all in the room, not even to wash your hands with. Luckily this is something my friends and I travel with.
- Darren (10/5): -
- Billy (10/5): -
- maz (9/5): -
- Konstantinos (10/5): Great stay -
- Jay (1/5): Staff, rude and drugs on premises, entering room when I was out and breakfast gave me Covid. Avoid at all cost!!!! -
- Mike (7/5): - Location and ease of access.
- Rachael (2/5): Would not stay again, basic things that provide me a comfortable stay were not met! - Location is a win, beds were ok comfortable wise Filthy room, bath had hair all in it, walls had fresh dirt marks, kettle had to be replaced 3 times, first one had a broken base and water was leaking into the electric element, second one, blew all electrics in room every time we plugged it in, bed was not clean, I had to put a t-shirt over my pillow as I didn’t want my head on it, lampshades hanging off walls, marks all over carpet and not hoovered, dirty nappies and stuff all over the rooftop which was view from our room! Mirrors and surfaces everywhere just dirty! No early check in despite it being included, although in hindsight glad i didn’t stay there any longer then I had to, although understandably as it seems there were only 2 people actually covering reception and cleaning and all other maintenance! So were rooms were not ready any earlier but that’s fair enough!
- James OB1 (1/5): - Location great just next to pier and beach. Hotel is rated as 4 star but is a 1 star. Immediately as we walked in we realised this. Got in the room and the window seals had gone so was freezing and couldn't keep the warm in. Central heating turned off and just had a broken plug in radiator in the room. TV put on wall with wire going across the room and no aerial. Bathroom dirty and old, room was old and outdated, window nets covered in Black mould, room filthy. We immediately got a refund and left to stay elsewhere.
- Tanyalicious (6/5): - Ash and his team are amazing
Arsenal south coast Gunners was a nice addition to watch the match with There was screaming shoutin and fighting all saturday nite was woken at 3am on 2nd floor i know thats not hotels fault
Sunday evening was the same so i left at 10pm didnt complete a 2nd nites stay
- Iulian Petrisor (10/5): - Very good Very well
- richard (5/5): - Location and price comfy bed. Shower was very poor flow...

- BARKER (3/5): Worst hotel I’ve stayed in can’t even call it a hotel - Only positive I can say is its location apart from that nothing else Place was dirty, hallways stunk of week and food being cooked, tv didn’t work, shower pressure was pathetic and got charge for parking, no blind in bathroom so anyone in opposite flats could look into bathroom.
- Marta (5/5): -
- Mark blackburn (1/5): - Old scruffy and worst of all dirty not a pleasant stay at all
- Andrew (7/5): - The locationm amd view especially. Mot much.
- Emily (6/5): -
- ali (10/5): Everything was just right — peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming. - We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable — just what we needed to unwind. The bed was high-quality linens, and we appreciated the quiet, restful atmosphere. The location was excellent, close to everything but still peaceful. A special thanks to Sebastian and Ajeesh for their warm hospitality and helpful tips — their service really stood out and made us feel truly welcome. They could open more facility to the hotel , but as we spoke with the staff they are planning to do that , they ensure us next time when we are coming here , we will have the bar and restaurant open.
- Marin (7/5): -
- Jennifer (3/5): Comfy bed but awful atmosphere - Beds were comfy and clean. Damp in the room.
Dirty bathroom
Water in the shower so hot it could burn - no way to turn it down.
No TV remote
Broken kettle
Shouting, swearing and thudding up and down the stairs regularly between the hours of midnight and 4am.
Staff threatened calling the police to deal with other guests.
Did not feel safe.
- Sharanpreet (10/5): Fantastic - I like everything about the hotel. Location was nice rooms are clean ,and the staf was very friendly and nice.
- Marshall (1/5): Very not happy with the service and staff - No working shower and told us we can’t switch rooms electric stopped working aswell and they couldn’t activate the card again
- Paulo (10/5): Our stay was absolutely perfect — relaxing, comfortable, and fair price. - Absolutely loved our stay! The room was spotless, welcoming, and cozy . The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linen, a supportive mattress, and extra pillows that made a big difference after a long day. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.
What really stood out was the attention to detail and how well everything was cared for. Sebastian and Ajeesh were amazing — they provided us with all the information we needed and went above and beyond with their exceptional customer service. Their hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. This is an advise , as the weather was hot , you guys need more fans , as was not enough fans in the hotel.
- David moshe (3/5): - Everything is good and pleasant. The building is old and needs renovations as soon as possible. Otherwise, the place will be excellent. Of course, they should also put chairs in the rooms, because if not, people sit around the bed and the mattress takes the shape of a banana, and then it is uncomfortable to sleep.
