- MalCollins (8/5): - The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Restaurant staff are the best. Originally booked for chalet 4 and the bed was not for us... Staff gladly moved us to another unit with no additional cost. Very happy after the move.
- Wenzokuhle (5/5): Disappointing! - The location was perfect, the animals in sight to sea and the staff were amazing especially Elihle, Itu and George. They were amazing to us. The rest was just not so good. We didn’t have housekeeping services until the second last day there, and because they claimed they didn’t have enough staff. Making their problems ours. We paid alot to be there. The ladies at reception had no sense of urgency and I feel like they didn’t take us seriously. If we were not of color we probably would have received better treatment. The house was smelly because our garbage wasn’t taken out and we had to wash and sweep the entire time we were there. We didn’t even get fresh towels until the last day. It was such a mess.

- Ntwanano (8/5): Shingange family Easter vacation - My family had a great week, we liked that it's away from the busy life that we are normally used to. A play area for kids, my kids especially loved the swimming pool. We also had a complimentary game drive which our boys really loved. Our boys also loved the egg hunt on Easter Sunday. Everyone was so nice there and the communication was top, Tanya started communicating even before our arrival date and provided us with relevant information. Thank you somuch We had booked a self catering catering unit. The one I didn't like is that the were no pots for cooking. We had to ask for them every time we wanted to cook. If they could try and fix this part I think it will be helpful to a lot of people.

- Georg (9/5): - Die Lodge liegt ruhig, aber in unmittelbarer Nähe der einzigen Teerstrasse. Bar und Restaurant machen den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Den ganzen Tag ist man von den wilden Tieren, wie Kudu, Oryx, Impala und Giraffen umgeben. Die bewegen sich alle frei und ungeniert in dem Park. Die Internetverbindung ist verbesserungswürdig.

- Aliena (10/5): - Great place, beautifully located in the park. The staff was super friendly and also got us bikes to cycle around the park, which we highly recommend, we saw so much wildlife! The A-Frame is really cozy and the shower is beautiful The kitchenette in the A-Frames is a little bit poorly equipped for anything further than a coffee, which is fine depending on your needs. The restaurant and Spa were closed on Monday and Tuesday which were the days we were there, but the bar was open and there is stuff around it

I got injured by a thorn while I was with the hostess going to show me our chalet and could care about and I was seriously injured.

- Khoetha (4/5): Not happy with my stay - The location only The rooms were not well kept, gave us room with broken door handles, basins and shower drains were blocked we reported and no one was sent to come fix, first night there was no electricity and they offered no alternative lights or charging points 🥹 . They advertised 2 pools and they only have 1 pool at the restaurant which is open even to people not staying at the property .

- Khanyisile (10/5): This is one of the most beautiful villas I’ve been too. I would highly recommend. It’s so tranquil and peaceful. The pic - It was very nice. Property has a private pool and a door that opens into the private pool, so you can sit in the longer area with the door open, looking into the pool area and looking into the bushes On our last night there was a power outage. I would recommend a generator. They should also include rechargeable lights for moments like that.

- Asseltine (8/5): Amazing - Small beautiful cabin, the lodge has many other aminities and activities, no need to drive out. The only disappointing thing was not being able to spot any wildlife, we came specifically to Marloth park because we were hoping to see wildlife. Otherwise it was a great, fun stay. Would highly recommend No wildlife close by

According to booking.com my chalet was supposed to be a 2 bedroom chalet, instead it was a one room chalet with a queen bed in the living kitchen area and a half wall separating the two single beds from the main living area. There were two bathrooms but both showers drains drained very slowly resulting in us constantly having to switch the water off whilst showering to ensure the water didn’t overrun into the rest of the bathroom. The toilet in one of the bathrooms was continuously leaking. The room was dirty upon arrival. There were dirty sheets left on a shelf. The room was riddled with cockroaches. There were no bin liners in the bin. The kitchen sink was leaking causing a huge puddle of water every time you switched the tap on. The bed sheet on the queen bed was too small resulting in it pulling off during the night. There were no window covers in the main area to provide some privacy when getting dressed.
- Nadine (10/5): Best Bush Holiday - We had the most amazing stay at Kruger Maroela Lodge. Belinda and her team are absolutely outstanding! Our A-Frame unit was the perfect getaway. The restaurant at the Lodge had the most delicious food with the best waiting staff! Each and very meal that we had, we were in heaven. During our stay we were able to book a full day safari drive through the Kruger with Wild Safaris and a spectacular bush braai dinner and sunset safari with Royal Safari. Belinda was able to facilitate these bookings for us and the process was smooth amd effortless. Overall, we loved spending time at the lodge and being surrounded by nature. It was a great way to start our festive season and we will most certainly be back again! Thank you Kruger Maroela Lodge 💙

- Mtsamai (10/5): The ideal destination for couples seeking to unwind and escape city life. - Everything about this place is fantastic. Belinda and the staff were incredible, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It’s the perfect getaway for couples who appreciate nature. The Pod we stayed in was a premium option that included breakfast, and we also had dinner there, and it was great. As it wasn't a self-catering Unit, it was amazing. We’ve decided that this is our ideal getaway spot, a place to escape the noise of busy city life. It’s truly a great place! The only issue is that the bed is too high. Maybe I am vertically challenged, Lol. Additionally, the open curtains can be a bit uncomfortable. It would be helpful if guests could be asked which type of curtains they prefer—those that prefer privacy or those that do not. Personally, I find non-privacy curtains to be somewhat uncomfortable.

- Manuela (10/5): Sehr sehr schön!!!! - Unser Aufenthalt war einfach unvergesslich! Ich habe wirklich schon viel gesehen, aber so freundliches, herzliches, aufmerksames und familiäres Personal findet man selten. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter ist unglaublich lieb, hilfsbereit und immer mit einem Lächeln da – ganz egal, um was es geht. Allein wegen dem Personal würden wir sofort wiederkommen! Die Unterkunft selbst war wunderschön – sauber, gemütlich und im authentisch afrikanischen Stil eingerichtet, was sofort Urlaubsfeeling aufkommen lässt. Alles wirkt sehr tropisch, warm und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Betten waren super bequem, das Zimmer sauber und gepflegt. Das Restaurant war auch gut: leckeres Essen und eine richtig schöne Atmosphäre. Man merkt, dass sich das Team wirklich Mühe gibt, Gästen eine schöne Zeit zu bereiten. Fazit: TOP, TOP, TOP, TOP, TOP! Ein absoluter Geheimtipp. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wirklich jedem empfehlen, der eine warme, tropische, familiäre Atmosphäre sucht – mit einem Personal, das einfach nur unglaublich lieb ist. Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt war das WLAN, das nicht gut funktioniert hat. Aber ganz ehrlich: Bei so einem traumhaften Aufenthalt fällt das fast nicht ins Gewicht.
