Xzena (10/5): My stay was perfect. - The accommodating staff who met me at the gate and escorted me up to the house after hours and in the pouring rain. It was a wonderful service to receive after a long trip and exhausting day. Greeted with kind and thoughtful hospitality, comfy slip on and a bottle of wine to unwind with, luggage carried to my room with a personal guided tour. Excellence over and above expectations. The wood house is a stunning home nestled into the Hakarimata ranges within an idyllic river view setting. Such a stunning view to wake up too.
Melissa (10/5): This is the place to stay!! - You can stop looking... THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY!!! Up on the hill, with breathtaking views in all directions - native bush one way, and the mighty Waikato River the other. The house is beautiful with lockwood throughout, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Multiple immaculate rooms provide ample space to spread out and relax, yet the grand dining table draws everyone together for memorable meals and conversations. It truly offers a serene escape, allowing you to be immersed in nature and enjoy privacy in an eco-friendly environment. And did I mention the views?! This was a perfect base to do the (also awesome) Te Awa Parkrun (only 9 mins to the start!), and we enjoyed visiting historic sites in the area. Thank you Diamond for the 5* hospitality, and we look forward to visiting again. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!!

Christopher (9/5): A peaceful getaway from a busy city life - Amazing view. Great location in trees and mountains. House was large and beautiful. Not the fault of the host but didn't know that we had booked via rooms with booking.com instead of the whole house, so we had to share with another group for a bit. Wasn't a big deal though and Diamond was great about handling that situation.
Kristina (10/5): Tino ataahua te whare nei - Beautiful stunning views and whare , diamond was a good hosts , spacious rooms. Beds were a bit hard and need mirrors , but that's very minor to the awesome stay we had looking over Koroneihana and Waikato River

Donna (10/5): Stunning Views - Amazing host, meet me on arrival, gave me a tour, and drove to meet my partner who took a wrong turn and got lost. The room was spacious with an on-site and a heat pump. Absolutely amazing views from the balcony 🧡 Only x1 towel for two of us, but this would've been an oversight.
