• Elizabeth (8/5): - Location was perfect. Quiet area close to the beach and centre of Puerto Del Carmen. Damp smell
• Seamus (1/5): Disastrous - On the fourth day of our ten day stay, we were awoken at 7.15am to the sound of an excavator digging up the road outside our door. In fact, both the footpath and road were completely removed. Apart from the excessive noise and dust created, we were left without water for the duration of two and a half working days. Worst of all, it was extremely difficult to exit and enter our accommodation due to the unevenness of the ground. This was particularly so for my wife who has mobility issues. We took it up with the property provider and with Booking.com but got no satisfaction. We didn't get what was advertised and will not be booking any further holidays through that site again.
• Ruairi Allen (4/5): Not as expected, poor value, but we made the most of it. - Location for Puerto del Carmen and Playa Chica. Road works immediately outside the apartment's gate. Noise from machinery. No running water for 2 mornings. Instructions to the apartment were confusing. We should have been advised before hand. These are planned works and the host was aware that there was going to be issues. Lack of consideration.

• Mary (6/5): Could be perfect but.... - Perfect location for us. Nicely furnished with some personal decor touches. Well equipped for the most part No instructions for anything....tv, cooker, dishwasher(didnt use) washing machine. Chipboard presses showing major signs of wear Hairdryer practically useless No wash basin for six days.Plumber eventually showed up and fixed. No change of towels or sheets....washed a lot but last week cold and wet....don't know if a strip,wash, dry and remake was possible! No VV registration Increase of 700e for same period next year. Only two cockroaches spotted. Unfortunately one was crawling up my arm in bed! Only one teaspoon. I would have loved this place with a few changes...even to pay for a clean and change of bedclothes. I have booked for next year but have taken serviced apartments...not as pretty a location but I will have clean sheets and towels! Key box not working 100per cent.
• veronica (5/5): The location and the house itself are very beautiful, but the maintenance of the apartment is poor. Considering the pric - The property is in a perfect location: right in front of Playa Chica and just a few steps from the seafront, where you can find many restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious and has good potential. The bathroom is new. The walls show significant humidity, especially in the bedroom. The space is clearly not well maintained. The wardrobes are damaged, likely due to the humidity as well. In the bedroom there are two skylights that cannot be darkened, so the room becomes very bright early in the morning.

Es sollte eine "Kurzbeschreibung " vorliegen, denn z. B. ging die Alarmanlage immer wieder los und wir wussten nicht warum S.oben

• Joanne (10/5): Perfect getaway in this apartment! - Just home after an amazing week in this fabulous apartment. Everything you need for a week self catering was available. Comfy bed, huge fridge/freezer, sun beds on a terrace that gets the sun all day. Can’t comment on tv as we never used it. Too busy exploring the island. We would definitely recommend this apartment and are looking for next August for longer once dates are released.
• Deb (5/5): Fantastic location but in need of maintenance. - Location location location, close to harbour and the strip very close to Playa Chica. Nice patio area which got the sun most of the day, apartment was very clean on arrival, bed was very comfy. The TV didn’t work and no attempt was made to fix it. The lock box code was incorrect on arrival and we had to contact agent to get correct one, took about 15 minutes. The towels for a 10 day stay were 2 small hand towels and 2 small body towels when I asked for more I was told to wash the original ones. A number of cockroaches came out at night in the sitting area, we bought some spray and doused around the patio door which reduced the numbers over the next couple of nights. The place needed some maintenance , paint and plaster pealing off part of the wall in the bedroom, door handles missing or broken off, cupboard doors peeling around the edges of the vinyl.
• Janet (10/5): Great location, lovely apartment - The location was ideal. I love staying around Playa Chica Beach, and this was perfect. I was also working while I was there, and the wifi was great. The apartment it's self is well laid out and all the facilities that you need. The only thing was for me working, the high stools in the kitchen were not the most comfortable. It's a personal preference; I like a stool with a high back. But that's a minor thing.
• Hilary (6/5): Location excellent. Because of the lack of instructions caused me a huge amount of stress. - Location excellent. Given the wrong key code so not able to get into the property. Had to find a Spanish neighbour to speak to someone. Not cleaning products at all in the property. No instructions at all for any of the appliances. No English TV channels at all and would have expected this to have been in the website.
• David (9/5): First time in Lanza and I will be back to this property in the future - The location and how the property was presented was superb, and the contact was excellent WiFi wasn’t up and running although a new router was delivered. The taxi was unable to drop off outside so needed to check the address
• Jeanette (10/5): Fabulous winter retreat - Absolutely loved the location. Right beside the beach. Quiet location. Great big apartment. Very comfortable. So close to the harbour and old town and also the new town. Spoilt for choice. So many restaurants and bars nearby. Great Internet. Air-conditioning which we did use at night. There was some mould in the bedroom and on the 3 roof lights. There were no instructions on how to use the alarm, tv, or rooflights. We had to request clean sheets and towels every week. Also the cleaning was scarce. They were in and out without actually doing much cleaning at all. I had to ask for cleaning products to be left. Otherwise it was perfect

• Rodney (3/5): Poor - The location was really good. It was the reason we booked this apartment. The apartment was very well equipped The property had a spell of damp especially in the bedroom and the decor was tired. We were unable to enjoy the property in the daytime due to the banging and excessive noise cased by the refurbishment of a property two doors away. I wouldn’t have booked the property if I’d know these works were being carried out. We were not informed these works would be carried out during our stay. I thought it was a bit expensive for the condition of the property. My wife has a pacemaker and has to avoid induction hobs. This property has an induction hob and that should be pointed out in the advert.

• Craig (10/5): Brilliant stay would definitely stay again - The property is well laid out with the unique styling of pocket doors separating the living, bathroom and bedroom areas of the apartment. The terrace gets all day sun, has lovely sea views and is on a quiet street so it’s ideal. The apartment has all the equipment required to make your stay comfortable, including air con, iron and full kitchen utensils. The Property is in a Perfect location, ideal for the old town and main strip both 2 mins away. Playa Chica beach is under 1 minute away and perfect for sun bathing, sea access and even has a small kiosk selling reasonably priced drinks and snacks. We’ve stayed all over Puerto del carmen but this apartment would be our first choice from now on. The host is easily contactable via direct message and responds quickly to messages and is very helpful.

• Stephen (1/5): Never again - Location It was filthy dirty, the walls were damp and mouldy ,the Wi-Fi wasn’t working , all the dishes and cutlery were cracked and chipped, called owner and the hung up the phone , I then contacted booking.com and they done absolutely nothing, they said they would get back to me in 24hrs , that was 5 days ago and still haven’t heard a word.Disgusting customer service

• Robbie (4/5): Location is fantastic. 50mtrs to Playa Chica. Short walk to both the old town & the strip. - Location is fantastic. We stayed here on a few occasions in the past, although it was a different owner back then. Unfortunately its the same bed, pillows and towels, which are all a bit worn at this stage. The sofa hadn't been cleaned in over a year and the shower drain was a bit clogged. Don't like complaining as we really like this property, the neighbours and the location. Hopefully the new owners take these points onboard.

Walking distance to shops bars restaurants and the strip of Puerto Del Carmen no need for a vehicle. Accommodation: fabulous everything you need, it’s home from home. Great patio with sun loungers. Host: Communication is via WhatsApp and Lara will always respond. Negatives: None What would have been useful is instructions on how to use appliances etc Nothing it was amazing

• Mark (9/5): Great apartment in a great location - Very secure, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. Air con in bedroom and living area with additional sky lights that could be opened up. Really comfortable bed and pillows compared to regular holiday apartments. Also, lovely lighting, especially the concealed blue strip lighting around the ceiling. I could write loads more about how good this place is but I'll sum it up by saying I'll try to book my next trip around the availability of this perfect little apartment. Very minor issue but communication about the arrival process from property owner could be better. They do supply a contact phone number but don't appear to speak English so texting them is best.

• Roman (1/5): this apartment is a scam - I had birthday and booked this apartment in advance. I received a proper confirmation of my booking. I wrote to the owner a message about my arrival time. As we arrived, the apartment was closed and no keys available. I called and the person didn’t speak English. In booking messenger, the person told me in Spanish that the apartment is not available. It was late evening and I had to pay four time price for the hotel just not to sleep on the street. This apartment is a scam. don’t book it.
