- Neil (1/5): Don't rent this flat in the winter! 🥶 - Flat was nicely laid and appointed BUT.. It was very obvious that no heating had been used in the flat for a while and hadn't been on before our stay. We arrived at ~9pm to a very cold flat and turned on the heating, which showed 14 degrees!!! 🥶 By 10pm the flat had only reached 15 degrees and we were fed up of sitting in the lounge in jackets and blankets to warm up.❄️ Went to bed fully clothed because it was that cold! 🐻❄️ It took until 6am the following day for the temperature to reach more than 18 degrees - I know this because I was up as couldn't sleep! REACHED OUT TO THE FLAT BUT THEY REFUSED ANY COMPENSATION AS THEY SAID THERE WERE WORKING HEATERS!!! Yes, there were working heaters but I hope the owners realise that they actually have to turn them on to heat the flat! 🧐 It cannot be right that the flat can be rented in the middle of winter without the heating being on before you arrive 😠 Not an enjoyable experience sitting and sleeping in 14/15 degrees.🥶
