- Stefano1981 (10/5): Night on River Kwai Bridge - Location fantastica (dalla nostra camera avevamo la vista sul ponte). Bagni in comune pulitissimi. Stanza molto bella e molto molto pulita. La struttura offre frigorifero in comune e possibilità di farsi caffè o tè in autonomia. Inoltre all'ingresso vi è pure la macchina del ghiaccio in caso si volesse riempire la propria borraccia prima di partire per un'escursione. La notte non si sente alcun rumore perché la zona è frequentata solamente di giorno dai turisti e dalle persone che vendono cibo e souvenir. Seven Eleven a 20 metri di distanza. Nelle ore serali la zona è "morta". Se si vuole mangiare qualcosa bisogna recarsi nei ristoranti a bordo fiume oppure attraversare il ponte e mangiare lungo il fiume presso i take a way locali.

L'ambiguïté que je n'ai pas vu sur le fait qu'il s'agit d'une salle de bain commune. Commentaire du propriétaire, elle veut quoi en plus des toilettes dans la chambre ?😂 La lumière de la chambre à revoir !! Un bon plafonnier de cuisine. Shampoing et savon ne sont pas dans toutes les douches. Vous arrivez il y a personne. On vous propose un numéro de téléphone bien sûr je vais pas passer une heure au téléphone avec un forfait français pour essayer de me faire comprendre que j'attends pour une réservation que j'ai payé et dépenser 60 € de communication. Le mec dort derrière le comptoir. À ce prix là il y a 10 fois mieux en Thaïlande. Terrasse sale. C'est rare que je donne une note aussi mauvaise. Escalier qui mène nulle part sans barrière attention à vos enfants. Le canapé dans le hall et sale. Il n'y a pas de frigo dans les chambres. J'arrête là...

We didn't...and sleeping in a mega stuffy room was not agreable. Either air con full blast ( no circulation though) or suffocation...

- maela (9/5): Très bon séjour. - Hôtel bien placé face au pont de la rivière Kwai. La chambre familiale, au dernière étage, est suffisamment grande pour 4 (2 lits doubles plutôt confortables). Elle donne sur la terrasse, nous n'avons pas été dérangés par du bruit. La salle de bain est grande.

However the evening markets for food are situated at the other end of town. We hired a local driver off the street (Mr Choke), who became our personal tour guide for our 2 day visit. We used the hostel as a base to visit Erawan Falls and other local sites. Nothing

Also with very nice Cafe downstairs ;)

- Mercedes (10/5): Best place for very cheap price and very clean. - Best place and very cheap. Very clean, rooms were big with comfortable beds and soft sheets. The bathroom is shared but they clean eat a lot during the day and it’s very clean. Might be hot but the ac works very well. Free water and coffee station. Workers are very helpful. We left the bags for the day after check out.

- Lisa (9/5): Would stay again - Comfy, clean bed. Great staff who allowed me to have room early. Quite steep stairs might be a problem for some. There were quite a few little ants and I kept no food in the room. That said I would stay again. Overall good value for the money and I slept well which is what counts the most.

Great location, 5 min walk from the train station coming from Bangkok. Room was basic and had everything we needed. It was a small room with one bed and bathroom. If you need easy accessibility, you may need another hotel as the stairs are pretty steep to get to your room. If you can handle the stairs, there is an awesome rooftop terrace to view the bridge. Also 2nd floor rooms have a shared bathroom and shower instead of your own.

- Tommi (9/5): Superb - This little motel is situated right in the heart of the city. Location-wise, it is the best place to explore the key sights of Kanchanaburi. Just 100 meters from the front door, you’ll find the JEATH War Museum, a platform to hop on/off the train that crosses the river to Nam Tok, a pier to catch a fast boat taxi, a money exchange, several dining options, and the cozy, lively nightly "living room" atmosphere of the Kwai River Bridge Plaza. We stayed for three nights in a family room on the third floor with an ensuite bathroom. While there was occasional noise from other guests, the street traffic didn’t bother us at night. We enjoyed an à la carte breakfast in the downstairs cafeteria, starting at 8:30 am, and the service was friendly. When leaving for another part of the country, the staff used family connections to arrange a taxi ride, saving us a full day of travel through Bangkok. The cost was far less than anything I could find using online services. Although considered a youth hostel, the service here goes above and beyond for the price point. I highly recommend it and would definitely book again.
