• Nina (10/5): We loved our stay at the Acropolis Window; perfect location for sightseeing and wandering the pretty streets of Plaka. - Lovely period property in the heart of Plaka, with views of the acropolis from 1 of the 2 balconies. The facilities were excellent, bed very comfortable and the overall space was lovely. The communication from The Acropolis Window team was also exemplary, with regular updates via WhatsApp and advice on local travel restrictions around Labour Day. Would highly recommend! Nothing, the only slight negative was the street was a little noisy on a couple of evenings/early mornings but nothing out of the ordinary for a city centre location.

• Chitra (7/5): good stay - great location close to city center and in a very nice area -walkable to arcopolis the water heater did not work as instructed -had to take cold shower on arrival -however it was fixed and worked the next day; Also the had the room with the view at the higher rate but not worth it as the view is a view of the acropolis slopes and is from a picture window in a side room. The same view can be seen as we walk down the street. the room with the balcony overlooking the street is nice and enough

It is at the heart of everything, the Acropolis, Parliament , cafes, cute streets . We walked everywhere . Lorena was there to receive us and she and Stella were always available. They arranged for someone to lug our luggage to the top flat . Tiny bathroom but manageable :)

• Jia (10/5): A place you wanna stay, not just for the city. - The host was communicating with us for constructions as well questions, which was very convenient. And the place was just stunning. From both balconies we had beautiful views over the Athens city, as well as over the ancient sites. The location was rather in the city, it is very easy to go to the Acropolis, but still having relaxed and quiet sleep at night. Also a lot of tasty and pretty restaurants are around there. All the rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff was also providing very nice service every day. The kitchen was spacious, provided with all the necessary kitchenwares, even with a washing machine and microwave.

Only because if time of year, the hot tub wasn't warm enough to use at night. Was nice on a sunny morning though 😊. But it's a lovely addition to the property.

Good cleaning routine, and very well equipped facilities. And that view of Acropolis from balcony and window - just mesmerising! Loved our stay, thank you team TAW (The Acropolis Window)! :) Nothing atall. 10/10.

Hosts were perfect and very communicative. If you’ve got heavy luggages and you’re on the upper floors, it might be hard to lug your luggage up the stairs.

• Effy (9/5): We stayed 10 days it is a great location, close to restaurants, historical sites and transport. - The location was excellent, a very central location. Was only a few hundred metres from the Acropolis Museum as well as being in a lovely part of Plaka. The staff was in touch every day which was a nice touch, and there were immediate responses to our queries. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. No lifts - we were on the first floor and quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, the staff kindly helped us with our luggage. I see that as the only negative.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Team – besonders mit Lorena – war ausgezeichnet: schnell, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eher klein, für Paare perfekt!

• Michele (9/5): Incredible location & value in Athens, just steps from the Acropolis! - The location was in the Plaka district, just steps from everything including the Acropolis! It's literally in your backyard so to speak. I really liked the cleanliness of the unit. I stayed in #2 on the second floor. 2 bedrooms/1bath/Kitchenette/Dining room w/ small terrace. The only issue was upon arrival. The housekeeper accidentally left both sets of keys inside the unit instead of inside the lockbox. So, the property manager had to physically come and let me in which took about 30 minutes. Although it was frustrating, it was an honest mistake so I chose to sit in the stairwell and plan my next day's activities while I waited. :)

• Karen (10/5): Wonderful location, beautiful vintage decor with up to date amenities. - Loved the energy of this place! It's beautiful, efficient, comfortable and clean, we thought it might be noisy due to being so central to Plaka but it was a pleasant hubbub of voices and music from the street. The best thing is that it is walking distance to so many of the amazing Athens sites. The owner is lovely, there is a little luggage storage locker you can use to secure your luggage if you get there early, and lots of great coffee and food right nearby.
