Guest Reviews
- Jacob (10/5): -
- Thomas (9/5): Beautiful property - Beautiful location and the rooms with fireplace are super nice. Wonderful drive to Gateway. We booked last minute so we prepaid through booking.com. After our stay Gateway Canyons charged my credit card for the stay also. It took a week and 5 calls to get a refund. I paid the resort fee in the booking.com price. But the resort would not refund the resort fee. Sorta weird I think. 18% resort fee ($70 per night).
- Nancy (7/5): Nice but not enough for a destination resort. - The location was beautiful. Staff was very friendly. Very limited amenities. It seemed like a resort in decline.
- Kay (6/5): Disappointed, not what it used to be - Overall maintenance was not what it used to be under previous ownership. For the price it should be exceptional. Entrada restaurant wasn’t open, only the grill was open for dinner. Expected fine dining.
- Maria (7/5): OK - The front desk staff. Auto museum. Jeep tour. Only one restaurant open too much red dust, pool didn't look very clean. No elevator!
- Nadine (1/5): Nice, but not worth - Resort itself, although heavily overpriced Poor service
- Amar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible facility. And the drive up the canyon was spectacular.
And The restaurant and staff were top notch! Tad spendy, but they do give you what you pay for!
- Scott (10/5): Amazing views, plenty of things to do at the resort. - Everything. Nothing
- B (9/5): Gorgeous property in a remote, red rock location. Cant wait to come back! - Loved the location and views, swimming pools and hot tubs, poolside bars, food at Paradox Grille. Was bummed the Kiva Cafe espresso makers were not working during our stay.
- Laurie (5/5): the housekeeping staff does not speak English which caused multiple disruptions while I was trying to rest. really poor - the location can’t be beat! very outdated
- Charles (9/5): Superb -
- Antone (10/5): Great place-not something we could afford very often, but great for our 40th wedding anniversary - There was no free breakfast and we had to leave early so we did not have a chance to buy breakfast The staff did not give any upfront information on the other dining option that one needed to have a reservation for and they did not give any details on the spsa.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Berndt (6/5): Pleasant - The scenery and their staff were very friendly They didn’t have a lot of activities that they had the last time I stayed here go horseback riding no skeet shooting And not much nightlife activities
- Emma (10/5): An inspiring location, with friendly staff, incredible activities/dining, and luxurious comfort. - The Cafe and Paradox Grill (food, services and experience) were incredible! The cafe offered a delicious easy breakfast and the Grill offered incredible meals (We loved the miso salmon and dox burgers!!) The nature hikes surrounding the area we amazing - truly awe striking! The 4 hours or coaster bikes enhanced it all as well! We also super enjoyed the petting zoo, the animal were so cute and friendly as were the staff. Throughout our stay, the Gateway Canyon Resorts made every moment special. We plan to return sometime, definitely do the helicopter ride and visit the automobile museum our second time around. Best honeymoon ever! Thank you
P.s. the QR code links to all the amenities and such was a great idea. We had an incredible, unforgettable time - the only thing is hot tubs near the pool would be cool - but that’s tiny in comparison to the amazing experience this team cultivated for us! Other than that the only other thing I didn’t like was leaving, excited to come back!!
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (6/5): nice place but confort of bed to improve - location and charme of the house incomfortable bed and not clean sheets
