Kirky (10/5): Great location, well maintained suites. Will be back - It’s a beautiful 100 year old building in a great location and looks to have been updated in the last 5-10 years.
Paul (9/5): if I had to come to Durango again, I would probably stay in the same spot other than maybe trying to - Centrally located easy to get around. It rained a little bit and they also had umbrellas that we could use. The only thing I did not like about the room was the bathroom. It was so small. It felt like I was in a motorhome bathroom.

Tracy (10/5): Good value for the location right in downtown Durango very cute. Super close to everything. - Cute and quaint right in the downtown area walkable to everything I did wish there was on site staff I never once meant the host. I only ran into housekeeper on our first day.

Elizabeth (5/5): Cute, cozy place but bed uncomfortable - Quaint and cute place in a great location. Loved that it had a fridge and microwave in our room. The staff were wonderful. It was raining and they provided us with umbrellas to walk downtown. The bed was not comfortable and it was creaky. It is an older building, we were on the first floor and you could hear people walking upstairs. In fact, they supplied us with ear plugs to drown out any sounds.

bozena (9/5): Great place to be in downtown. - Location is walking distance in downtown, nice restaurants around. Very private feel, old house converted to suites. Easy check in and out through text. Ductless AC was nice and quite but position right over the bed, no matter how I turn the swing angle cold air was hitting the bed directly. It was mixed experience my husband loved it but I slept with head at the end of bed.

We enjoyed also the tacos next door at Lola’s (same owners). And we liked our little outdoor table and chairs- ideal visit! Slightly noisy first night due to crowd at Lola’s but it was quiet before 10pm and we would definitely stay here again!

Pat (9/5): Best location and best all around upscale small hotel. - I liked the small touches: the night light in the bathroom, the reading lights by bed, the water purifier pitcher in fridge. Great prompt communication with staff. It was hard for me to reach the upper window shades as I’m not tall enough (5’5”), which made it harder to close. A larger tv would be nice in a perfect world. A Tempurpedic mattress pad would help the comfort of the mattress (which wasn’t bad).

Denise (9/5): Melding Modern With Historic in the Heart of Durango - Free drink & bike rentals; keyless entry to all doors with easy-to-remember codes; friendly & accommodating staff; very clean; 1 block from Main Ave. and 4-6 blocks to train station/museum, historic sites, and paved Animas River Trail. Nice view of mountains from 2nd floor suite #9; kitchen provides coffee and essential kitchen implements. In suite #9, no luggage rack or artwork on walls; some items (like hair dryer) were too high to reach for this 4’11” guest without standing on toilet seat; towels are bundled up together in attempt at attractive minimization, but they’re fussy to “unpack” and there’s no place to hang them. Bike rental #1 was scary with feeble back-pedal braking system.
