• Jordan (9/5): Easygoing, great value for money and respectful staff. - I stayed for 2 weeks they upgraded the room to a suite which was spacious and made the stay much more relaxing. Location is super and everything was perfect to be honest. I can’t complain at all. I couldn’t open the window, but maybe I’m just blind x)
• Jeff (1/5): We booked for 8 days stayed less than 24hrs because it was so unsanitary. - Nothing. It was nothing like on the photos, it smelt heavily of smoke and filth, the carpets were extremely disgusting, smelt like dirty feet everywhere , especially in our “superior” room which was supposed to have a view of the city but we were looking into somebody’s apartment window and the alley way where the next door apartment building put all their trash , there was sticky substance in between the leather couches cushions look like bodily fluid, stains all over carpets , lighting was terrible, mirrors had greasy hand prints all over it, none of the facilities were open due to “ renovation “ business center , restaurant, lounge/ bar , breakfast etc that they advertised. I already spoke to management there and they said they agree to fu full refund but we’d have go through your app. Please advise.

• scott (4/5): - Nothing much really. The price was low, which made it bearable. We was supposed to have a superior room. It absolutely wasnt. The room was exceptionally dull with the window looking into a dark tiny courtyard area, so even when the curtains was open, it was still dingy.. it was set up for one person- with only one mug. Noi cover over the Divan of the bed frame. Stained and cobwebbed walls. Just a bit dismal really. We asked to change rooms and the receptionist said they were fully booked, though Booking.com was showing 7 superior rooms available.......... :-( No point trying to fet there by car as its a nightmare, though thats not their fault.

• George (5/5): - On opening the door from the street the smell of cannabis was overwhelming within the corridor and reception. We waited at reception for 30 minutes before any staff appeared, having also called the hotel with no answer this is unacceptable. Once a receptionist did appear his personnel hygiene was significantly lacking. The hotel description also said the room had a balcony, I fail to see why a full length window is classed as a balcony.

• James (3/5): Regretful, dirty, smelly false advertising - N/A The photos of the standard room that are advertised is actually of the suite. When i checked in, i was given a shoebox room with dirty bedding I had to pay a £17 difference to get the room that was advertised. The suite wasnt exactly great either, theres a large bogey smudged into the wall, the mugs in the coffee station were dirty, and the toilet seat is nothing short of disgusting. The entire property needs a good clean/rennovation. On top of that, the staff on the reception could do with a good long shower. One of them, quite literally, stank up the entire reception with BO.

I hope the hotel will take responsibility and deal with the staff who shared my information tha - I have been a regular guest at this hotel, but they shared all my personal information including my stay details without my consent. This is a serious violation of privacy,It is not safe for me, or for anyone whose information could be shared like this. Be careful your personal details are not protected here.

Broken lamp shade, broken curtains, pile of curtains on window sill just left there. Broken soap dispenser, marks on wall. Very noisy with other rooms next to us. Crack on toilet. I have photos of the room.

• Rebecca (1/5): Don’t stay here! - Location that is all Looked battered , dirty carpets leading to the room, needed a good Hoover! Rooms weren’t much better! Dated, battered aka walls were covered in dents and marks! Toilet was smashed in the inside , mould forming and just generally crap! Corridors stank of weed and pretty sure it was full of immigrants also as a group of them entered the hotel as we were leaving! This is not a four star hotel like there website states! It’s basically a room and a bed as there is facilities like no restaurant, bar or breakfast area but on their website it says there does…. Well incorrect and false advertisement as they lost there bar license 2 years ago and when asked the staff about even soft drinks they said go to a shop! Just rude! If I could add more photos I would have! Do not stay here as isn’t worth it at all!
• tracy (8/5): - Large room with bath and a great city view. Clean nice towels, comfy bed. Top of building very quiet and private. We were surprised how nice it was inside. Whole place looks rough from outside which is a shame as the bits of the inside we saw and our room were nice. Very basic tea and coffee.

• Nicole (6/5): Good price for what it was. - Location was good and for the price we paid it was a comfy stay. There was sticky stains on the carpet and the lift had a mind of its own and the panel with the buttons fell off a couple times. Our key cards only worked once each time and had to keep going up and down to get them sorted.
• Robin (5/5): Falsely advertised and overpriced - Location is perfect. Right next to Union Street Badly needs a bit of TLC. Looks tired and neglected from the back of the hotel. Room wasn't cery clean, including the bedding. Asked for a clean duvet only to be told they didn't have a spare one. Various items missing from the room. No bathrobe, no air conditioning, no cable/satellite tv. windows were filthy on the outside. There was a gap between the doors entering the room that you could see through into the room from the hallway quite clearly. No bottle of prossecco which is quite cleanly shown in the room photos. Would not recommend at the price we paid. £261/3 nights. Restaurant and bar wete shut for renovations which wasn't mentioned on the website.

• Michelle (4/5): It just felt like the room was not fully prepared or checked before allocating out - it was a shame really as great loca - In a good central position We arrived at the property and no one on reception so had to wait a while for someone to come out, not very inviting at all, no restaurant facilities which we did not know until we arrived, when we got to the room the bathroom floor was not clean and there was no door handle on the bathroom it was just left on the side of the of the sink, the shower gel was empty as was the hand wash bottle, there was no remote control for the TV, the lights over the bed were hanging by a wire, the safe box was broken Walking to the room the fire extinguishers were full of dust in the hallway

No breakfast, wasnt advised of that before I arrived. Location was good, central, outside is tired and messy. A lot.. Reception hardly ever there, not friendly, more interested in their phones and laptops. I think I was the only guest. No toilet roll when got to room, heating was off, AC didnt work, windows no locks and rotton. No iron provided. When looked for reception, I was able to access what shouldhave been off limits rooms, such as boiler room, kitchen, staff room, cleaning cuboards, all unlocked, left messy and no staff could be found anywhere.

• Mari (5/5): Spacious rooms & comfey beds - Room was very spacious the bed was comfortable & lovely bathroom facility’s No shower gel in the shower I had to use the hand soap. The toilet seat was far too small for toilet. Apparently the receptionist who was on couldn’t give me a sheet for my sofa bed nor a duvet. The sofabed had marks on it & I wasn’t sleeping on the mattress. On booking.com I ordered two single beds which wasn’t there I had to share a double bed with my mum. I’m a bit past sleeping in same bed as my mum now. I need my space. The sofa bed was clarty & defo needed a clean. Also cause renovations are being done no breakfast

• william (5/5): Location spot on. Everything else !! What more can I say!! - The location is perfect. That's the best part. Wallpaper pieces missing, toilet seat broken, panel under sink disgusting and sitting loose, skirting board at right side of toilet looked like it had been filled with filla-foam, shower screen had hand and smear marks, wall on right side to toilet had dents as if something had been ripped off, there was only 2 pillows - i.e. 1 per person and they looked like they were cushion pads - rather flat. Only 1 chair in room even though it was booked as a double.. Tea/coffee facilities very inadequate - i.e. 1 cup per person and 1 had to have a decaf. Had to go to reception and ask for more coffee and sugar. No breakfast option which is a negative.

• Martin (1/5): It was really - The room looked clean enough at first glance, but everything was worn and tired. The carpets were dirty and the TV remote was grimy. I wouldn’t have touched the coffee from the cups or spoons that were left out — they didn’t inspire much confidence. The bed linen itself was clean, and the shower was warm and powerful, so that was at least a positive. But the room was freezing when I arrived, and it smelled like someone had been smoking in it beforehand. There was an old electric heater on the wall that looked like it was about to fall off. There were holes all over the place from things that had clearly been fitted in the past and then removed, just left behind. I ended up leaving at 6am and heading to McDonald’s before my business meeting because I just had to get out of there.

• Loanna (7/5): Handy Location - I wasn't told anything about breakfast. Was it included? I didn't know there was any breakfast facilities. The windows did not open in my room and the air conditioning was broken. There were fans in the room but it made no difference in the morning, it was so hot and humid, I found it near impossible to get ready while sweating with the heat in the room and no airflow. An opening window or air conditioning that worked.

The carpet is so dirty and stained that we were affraid to put feet on it. the bed was fine but the pillows were like pancakes. the windows didn't open to get rid of at least a bit of the smell or let air in. smells, no fresh air, dirty carpet and holes in the walls
