• Lutz (10/5): Toller Meerblick, tolles Essen, nettes Personal und Bruce macht Spaß - Schönes Hotel an einem kurzen Strandabschnitt in der Bucht von Khanom. Wenig (westliche) Touristen, so dass man den Strand weitgehend für sich selbst hat. Das Restaurant ist auf thailändische Gäste eingerichtet. Daher ist das Essen hervorragend. Beim Frühstücksbuffet muss man nach westlichen Speisen etwas suchen. Hervorzuheben ist der General Manager Bruce, der wirklich sehr sympathisch ist und sich toll kümmert und viele gute Informationen bereithält. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Listenpreise sind weit überzogen. Aber mit einem guten Sonderangebot kann man auf sehr faire Preise kommen. Der Preis für den Flughafentransfer war relativ absurd. Wir haben den Taxi & Limousine Service am Flughafen Nakhon Si Thammarat genutzt und nicht mal die Hälfte gezahlt.

• Tobias (6/5): - Der meiste Teil des Pools ist nur ein Zugang über einzelne Appartments. Allgemeiner Zugang ist nur über zwei Leitern möglich. Der allgemeine Außenbereich ist sehr begrenzt.
• Petra (8/5): Heerlijk en Tinus - Het bed was heerlijk, ontbijt goed. Bruce heeft ons goed geholpen en wegwijs gemaakt, dat was fijn. Het zwembad lag in de schaduw en was daardoor best koud.
• Annie (6/5): Spacious rooms, great balconies and nice pool in a quiet but friendly location - Location on the beach was lovely, very tranquil area, access to a few nearby restaurants a short walk. Rooms were spacious and pool was great. Bedroom was a little dated and bathroom could do with a revamp. Due to the remote location we were very dependent on hotel staff to find taxis, which were higher in cost than other locals were offering.

• Jacqueline (10/5): Geweldig hotel - Prachtig hotel gelegen aan het mooie Nai Phlao beach in Khanom. Wij hadden de Cabana suite, hele mooie kamer, direct aan zee, fenomenaal uitzicht, zonsopgang vanuit je comfortabele bed. Op het strand genoeg bedjes en parasols. Iedereen van de staff was supervriendelijk en altijd vrolijk. Niks was ze te veel om het naar je zin te maken. Mr.Bruce een echte professional,altijd in voor een leuk gesprek, hij sprak zeer goed engels en duits, geeft je goede tips over omgeving, restaurants in de buurt ect. en regelt bv scooter of uitstapjes en Khun Tak, superlief, we kregen van haar altijd een extra schaaltje fruit bij het ontbijt en er is uitstekende koffie! We voelden ons echt door iedereen verwend. Het is echter wel een plek voor rustzoekers die het authentieke Thailand weten te waarderen. Auto is een must als je de prachtige omgeving wilt verkennen. Wij komen zeker terug!!

• Nadine (9/5): Als Familie hatten wir dort eine wunderbare Zeit in Khanom, wir hoffen, dass wir bald wiederkommen werden. - Ein tolles, wenn auch kleines Hotel mit toller und ruhiger Lage direkt am Strand! Wir konnten aus dem Zimmer, aus dem Bett direkt aufs Meer schauen. Wir hatten Zugang zum Pool aus dem Hotelzimmer. Das Bett war bequem, das Zimmer schick und gemütlich. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir hatten Glück, dass es einen Mitarbeiter gab, der deutsch gesprochen hat und uns Tipps für Restaurants, Ausflugsziele und so weiter gegeben hat. Sein Name ist Bruce. Er und das Team waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr ansprechend und lecker. Viele thailändische Gerichte standen zur Auswahl, das hat uns gefallen. Am letzten Tag hat uns das Hotel zu einem Essen eingeladen. Der Grund war, dass im Zimmer nebenan laute Handwerkerarbeiten durchgeführt wurden. Auch abends. Und mit Baby ist das schon blöd. Die Geste hat uns daher sehr gefreut. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Khanom! Was WLAN hat im Zimmer nicht wirklich gut funktioniert. Im Bad waren einige Fliegen und der Abfluss hat leicht gestunken.

The quality of food and breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant efficiently arranged transportation to a reputable nearby seafood establishment. Our experience was highly satisfactory, with courteous and attentive staff throughout. In particular, Mr. M. Bruce provided exceptional assistance, contributing significantly to the positive nature of our stay. The hotel is not located in the very central of Khanom city, but hotel arranged all of the necessary transportations for us and we got to see everything we wanted during our stay and didn’t have to worry about transportation at all.

• Elaine (10/5): Excellent - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Beachfront Stay From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen well. This is a beautiful beachfront property in a wonderfully peaceful location, yet still close enough to local restaurants and amenities. The hotel itself is immaculate. Cleanliness is clearly a priority throughout, and our room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and relaxing on the balcony in the evening with the sea breeze was one of our favourite moments of the stay. Breakfast offered a great selection each morning, and the in-house restaurant served very good quality food. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the service. GM Bruce and his team are exceptional. The welcome was warm and genuine, and throughout our stay the staff could not have been more attentive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A lovely added touch was the hotel shuttle. On Saturday evening they kindly took guests to the local night market, and earlier in the week we enjoyed a trip up to the viewpoint in their distinctive gold Mercedes beach buggy a fun and memorable experience that perfectly summed up the relaxed, friendly atmosphere here. The beach itself is wide, clean and beautifully quiet exactly what we were hoping for. I had read a few mixed reviews before arriving, but in our experience this was an outstanding stay from start to finish. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness and truly excellent hospitality. Coffee at breakfast

The staff were extremely friendly and would go over the top to accomodate your needs. The beds were also very comfortable.

Bruce gav gode tips for å gjøre oppholdet best mulig for oss😊Alle ansatte var blide og imøtekommende. Hotellet kjører stil og er enda finere i virkeligheten enn på bildene. • Larissa (9/5): Super Hotelanlage an ruhigem Strand - Super schönes Hotel am Strand mit tollem Pool und sehr freundlichem Personal. Es wird alles für einen organisiert und alle sind sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war kein Buffet wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, da zu wenig Leute im Hotel waren(Nebensaison). Die Qualität des Frühstücks hat uns nicht so überzeugt und es gab Schwierigkeiten auf meine Zöliakie Rücksicht zu nehmen. Wir hatten einen Black Friday Deal und für das Geld hat das Hotel uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist jedoch kein 5 Sterne Hotel in der deutschen Hotelkategorie.
• Kanttori (9/5): - Todella rauhallinen ja mukava hotelli. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Hotelli oli puhdas ja siisti. Hyvin lähellä hotellia oli muutama todella hyvä ja edullinen ravintola. Aamupala oli riittävä ja vaihtelua oli mukavasti. Aamupalalla ei tarjoiltu ollenkaan tavallista kahvia, joka näin Suomalaisena suodatinkahvin ystävänä hieman harmitti. Aamupalapaikan kahvikone teki, ikävä kyllä, suorastaan pahanmakuisia kahvijuomia. Nai Plao Beachin ranta oli koko oleskelumme ajan todella roskainen, meri oli työntänyt PALJON roskaa/romua rannalle. Hotellin kohdalta ranta oli onneksi siivottu, mutta muuten tällä kauniilla rannalla ei tehnyt mieli tehdä pidempiä kävelyjä. Rantatuoleja oli melko vähän.

• Pranee (10/5): Vi elsker at være. - Jeg var meget imponeret. Den første dag fortalte jeg dem, at balkonen ikke var privat nok. Manager informerede hotelejeren, som derefter fik en entreprenør til at hæve balkonen. Nu ser den meget smuk ud og er meget privat. Personalet er meget venligt og imødekommende, altid med et smil. Værelserne er store, smukt indrettede, virkelig rene, dejlig seng og dejligt sengetøj, håndklæderne blev også skiftet hver dag. Morgenmaden er lækker, og det samme gælder maden fra restauranten! Hotellet havde lavet fantastiske arrangementer til vores bryllupsdag, med en flaske spartling og vi kommer tilbage og bor her igen.

• Jack (9/5): Super hotel - Heel mooi nieuw hotel met heel aardig personeel. In het restaurant werkte een dame heart uit Bangkok. Ze was heel behulpzaam en aardig. Werkte ook heel hard. echter in omgeving weinig te doen. Je hebt echt een auto nodig om iets van omgeving te zien. Ook werd er niets vanuit hotel georganiseerd.

Beautiful wide sandy beach. The lunch and dinner at the restaurant was superb!! Every dish was fresh and tasty, we had a lot of fresh seafood!! The breakfast buffet was good as well. Bruce and his staff made us feel very welcome and helped with everything! It was our son’s birthday and they arranged a cake for him and sang happy birthday to him. And the bed was made with flowers and ‘happy birthday’. Highly recommend!! We will definitely come back. The nearest 7-eleven and ATM are a 8 min drive away. It was a perfect stay for us!
• Chris (5/5): Nice room but a lot left to be desired - The hotel was right on the beach and the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Pool was lovely The breakfast left an awful lot to be desired. The coffee machine is terrible with some of the coffee it was making practically undrinkable. The shower in our room had a problem with the fuse for the water constantly tripping when in the shower so that had to be turned back on ever minute or two. Rather concerning considering it is such a new hotel. The house keeping was not great, our clothes which were on the bed were thrown onto a chair unfolded in a pile. While we were staying we had a birthday and had asked for a cake which was great but one of the members of staff which brought the cake up was wearing an extremely inappropriate tshirt and we were demanded to pay for the cake as it was handed over. The location isn’t great with no shops or many other restaurants near by

They truly try to do all they can to make your holiday perfect. We can recommend this hotel for those looking for good service, beautiful beach, and authentic Thailand😎 Area is really quiet with limited services, but this was not a problem for us since we were looking to relax and enjoy the peacefulness.

De kamers waren zeer proper en werden dagelijks goed onderhouden. Direct toegang tot het zwembad is een voordeel. Aan de zwembadbar bevatten de cocktails meer dan voldoende alcohol. Het strand en faciliteiten zijn top. De 'Benz' golfkar is een extra troef. Het ontbijtbuffet, buiten, bevat voldoende variatie. Ideale plaats voor wie rust zoekt. Nihil.

• Bianca (10/5): Tolles Hotel in toller Lage - Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Aokanon Villa. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem sehr sauberen Strand mit glasklarem Wasser – ein echtes Highlight. Die Anlage ist noch relativ neu (erst ca. 1 Jahr und 4 Monate alt), dennoch sind bereits kleinere Reparaturen notwendig, die vom neuen deutschsprachigen Manager Bruce engagiert in Angriff genommen werden. Man merkt, dass er sich sehr bemüht, das Hotel wieder in bestem Zustand zu halten. Der Pool ist perfekt und die dezente Barhausmusik schafft eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend und lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals – sehr kinderlieb und immer mit einem Lächeln. Wünsche werden ernst genommen, und Bruce kümmert sich persönlich darum, dass alles passt. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und bieten einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Ein Highlight war die Badewanne auf dem Balkon, die wir sogar an einem Regentag genutzt haben. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt – wir können dieses Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen! Man könnte als Familie gut in einem normalen DZ schlafen, da es eine Ausziehcouch gibt. So könnte man sich das teure Familienzimmer sparen
• Ran (10/5): Very good hotel in a quiet location right on Khanom beach. - The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is right on a wide beach with stunning views, and there are a few restaurants around at walking distance - including one of them that belongs to the hotel. Other than that it's a pretty quiet location but it was enough for us for 3 nights for a family getaway. Breakfast is good and has both western and asian options to choose from. Annie from the reception team was very helpful. She speaks good English and she also helped us sort out Taxi arrangements and answer questions we had with very good English. Also, our daughter got some stomach bug while we were there and she helped us a lot with buying her the proper medicine and offered a lot of help on her own - we appreciated this very much.
• Katja (10/5): - Nach dem Trubel von Bangkok und Chiang Mai eine Oase der Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Ein traumhafter ruhiger Strand, ein sehr schöner Pool mit Meerblick und auch das Zimmer mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ein deutschsprachiger sehr engagierter Hotelmanager. Entspannung pur. Wir waren 4 Tage vor Ort, sollte man länger dort sein empfiehlt sich ein Mietwagen oder Moped, um etwas mobiler und unabhängiger zu sein. Da ist man aus den Städten dann doch etwas verwöhnt, obwohl das Hotel da auch gut unterstützt.
• Guy (10/5): A beautiful, restful stay by the sea a long way from busy or touristy resorts. - We chose this hotel to have some peaceful time by the beach as part of a family holiday taking our kids to a couple of classic locations: Bangkok, Ayuttaya and Chiangmai. We were really struck both by the beautiful, isolated location (about 15' drive from Kha Nom itself) and by the hotel itself: lovely, small (only 21 rooms) and with very few other tourists nearby which made for a great break from the bigger cities we had visited until then but with a huge pool that is the 'centrepiece' that we spent plenty of time in. Above all the staff were wonderful: we were able to set up a trip to see the 'famous' pink dolphins with them but they also suggested a trip to the local market and were happy to arrange transport to and from the airport at Surit Thani (which is over 100km away). The food is also good and they were more than happy to dial the spice down despite having quite a few Thai clients. The only thing that comes to mind is that storage in the bedrooms was fairly limited so we had to put things in slightly odd places. It probably wouldn't be a problem for a smaller group or a couple. Really very minor frankly.

The seafood served in the restaurant was amazing (I ate there every day during our stay) and also cheap compared to my hometown in Samui. Bruce, the hotel manager, also German speaking, makes sure you are informed and has good advice what to do in this area. I appreciated his honesty and forthcoming personality. Just can recommend this place 😊🤗 Nice place for families but the are is limited concerning activities you can enjoy as an adult.

• FAROUK (8/5): Quaint boutique hotel with gold toilet bowls - Nice little local boutique hotel at a quiet part of the beach. The rooms are large and clean. Best to take the higher floors. They need umbrellas on the beach and more deck chairs. But umbrellas are a definite must.

South end of Khanom at nai plao beach. Lovely property that feels just a little away from the main part of Khanom. We will certainly be back, and probably for much longer. Very impressed overall.

With beautiful beachfront bungalows and pool access, what more could you possibly dream of? The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful – nothing is too much to ask. They’re always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and extremely comfortable, especially the beds. In short: highly recommended. Of course, there are a few areas for improvement. The breakfast can be a bit repetitive in some aspects and could benefit from a bit more variety. We also experienced some unpleasant odours from the bathroom drain during our stay. That said, these minor issues pale in comparison to the many positives. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

• Thomas (9/5): Staff was a highlight. - As my wife and me wanted to avoid the mass tourism, we decided to stay near Khanom which offer plenty of hotels for affordable prices. We decided to book this one and were not disappointed at all. The staff was the highlight of our stay by being very accommodating and giving us tips where to go. They've been smiling and were very helpful throughout our entire stay without slacking off. The room itself was also very comfortable with a very comfy bed and a nice tub on our balcony. Wifi has been good for the most time, but at night could become slow due the number of people using it. Plenty of sockets available and complimentary minibar, coffee and tea were replenished on daily basis. Room has been clean too and has a spectacular view over the sea. Breakfast was a lot to be desired, and after our first night, we decided to skip it. The floor of the shower didn't really guide the water to its drain and made the bathroom prone to flooding and the basin had a leak in the bottom. Also a pump was making an annoying sound like it was turning on or trying to pump something (but failed) at certain intervals.

Tbh location is a bit remote, so we would recommend renting a scooter or car, but if you're looking for a little secluded paradise, you've found it. The breakfast wasn't quite what we would expect, from a more European point of view. But if you're ready for a more Asian style start of the day, you'll be just fine.

• Tann (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay - We had a lovely stay in Hotel Villa AoKhanom. We stayed in a second floor room with direct access to the pool from our room via a stairs and what looks like a bird cage - very cool!! It's a relatively new hotel but the staff are very eager to help & be of service. The manager, Annie, is super friendly and runs the place very well. Our room was huge and the bed so comfortable. It had a beautiful sea view, as I think all the rooms have. There weren't many guests when we stayed in early March - it was a great relaxing place and fabulous for swimming too. The only downside was the poolside music, which started at 2pm every day and was too loud and not suitable at all. Staff should consider more chill music at a much quieter level. The breakfast was OK - beautifully made to order omelettes but the rest of the breakfast food could have been better. I imagine fruit is cheap to buy but pineapple was the only fruit served. This would be an easy fix and would be greatly appreciated. Overall, a beautiful place to stay if you want total relaxation

• Bonnie (10/5): Quiet, comfortable, beautiful hotel, right off the water. - The rooms are large and beautiful overlooking the pool. The bed is the most comfortable I’ve had in Thailand. Food at the hotel was fantastic for lunch. Breakfast was basic, but it did the trick. The kayaks were old and not in good repair. Which is unfortunate since the hotel is new. Also, the surrounding area is quite isolating. But it was just what we needed to relax for a few days.

• Marcus (6/5): We had a good time. But there is room for improvement. - - the rooms are spacious with good beds - Annie, the hotel manager, tries to help as you with anything you need. Also the other staff is really really friendly. The cleaning team is amazing. - you get a lot of helpful stuff for free, like water, coffee pads, etc. - it’s very quite, so you can really relax here and are far away from busy areas - khanom itself is just beautiful. Probably the most amazing landscape in Thailand. - the photos are much nicer than it actually is. The hotel already needs a make-over. Especially the pool and restaurant areas look really old and used - the hotel doesn’t really care how the surroundings look. The beach is full of trash and litter. You have to start cleaning yourself to make the staff come help. If you walk a 100 m down the beach, it just gets worse and worse. - the hotel has a strange layout. You can not really use the main pool, unless you live in rooms that have direct access. The way to the beach and the sun chair area look improvised. - except for Annie, the staff speaks like no English, not even basics. For example „The wifi is not working“ should be easy to understand even without fluent English skills. - khanom is really really quite and there isn’t much to do. Just a couple of restaurants are in walking distance. The hotel offers a shuttle to the market on Wednesday but that’s it. When you come here as a family you basically need a car. Otherwise you are stuck. - worst of all: the hotel advertises fast internet. However, the internet is like not existent. We did not have wifi on our room. Even when you have wifi it’s crazy slow. There is no way you can do video meetings or something similar with that. Made me crazy at times. - overall the hotel was by far the most expensive on our Thailand trip and we had high expectations which weren’t met.
