• Sara (10/5): By Far the Best Stay of Our Italy Trip - After traveling around Italy for almost three weeks and staying in various hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnbs, this place was by far the best of our trip. We experienced a range of four-star and five-star hotels throughout Italy, but this guesthouse truly stood out above all the others. The rooms and bathrooms are on par with a five-star hotel — beautifully maintained, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. The facilities also exceeded our expectations and felt comparable to those of premium hotels. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and felt comfortable from start to finish. The location is another good advantage. After staying in different parts of Rome, we came to realize that the Vatican area is, in our opinion, the best place to stay in the city. It is more charming, quieter, and more relaxed than many of Rome’s highly touristy areas, while still offering plenty of great restaurants and cafés nearby. The Vatican Museums are only a 10-minute walk away, and Cipro metro station is just a five-minute walk, making it incredibly easy to get around Rome. Overall, this was our favorite stay in Italy, and we would happily stay here again.

• Warren (10/5): 10/10 best boutique hotel ever - The Romex Hotel Monica truly went above and beyond to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary! We stayed at the Romex for three nights during Easter weekend. The room was absolutely perfect—a 10 out of 10. Monica again received a perfect score of 10 out of 10. The location was fantastic; we were just a short walk from two metro stations, making central Rome easily accessible in less than 30 minutes. Plus, a 48-hour metro pass was only €15 each, which we could purchase from the machine or use the buses with the same pass. There were plenty of buses that passed by the hotel. It’s not exactly a traditional hotel, more of a boutique guest house, but it was definitely better than a hotel in our opinion. The room included a mini fridge with soft drinks, a can of beer and water. There was also a coffee machine that made great coffee. They allowed smoking on the balcony, which was a plus. Taxis were easy to use with the Uber app, which was cheaper than other taxi apps. We only used it to get to the Vatican, which cost between €15 and €20 each way. For everything else, we used the metro, which ran until around 1 am. The location was great for restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, and there were two corner mini-markets just a minute away from the Romex. Having travelled the world to many hotels, Monica did everything possible to make our anniversary the best time ever. We highly recommend The Romex and will definitely look for these boutique hotels in the future. Thank you, Monica, for making our first trip to Rome even better than we could have imagined. • Laure (10/5): A GREAT AND MEMORABLE STAY! - We had a memorable stay in Rome thanks to our Romex booking. Monica, who was there on site, was incredible—extremely helpful and kind. The room is brand new and very spacious, as is the bathroom, which is very pleasant. We even had a small balcony where we could enjoy breakfast in the sun, which was lovely. Another important detail: there are rolling shutters on the windows, which made a real difference. Overall, it was an excellent stay. There were also lots of thoughtful little touches in the room, such as small cakes and a welcome aperitif.

Felt significantly less touristy than other areas which was really nice for us. The room itself was really lovely, modern and clean. The balcony was really nice and bed super comfortable. The most important thing to highlight is that the hosts were exceptionally attentive and thoughtful. Everyday they checked in to see how we were doing and even went out of the way to set up decorations and cake on my birthday - even thought I didn’t tell them that it was my birthday during the trip! Das Bett war sehr bequem. Ein großer geräumiger Kleiderschrank. Jeden Tag frisches Mineralwasser. Kleine Törtchen zur Begrüßung. Jeden Tag kleine Nachrichten im Zimmer. Über WhatsApp wird man über sämtliche gute Restaurant Tipps und Orte die man gesehen haben muss informiert. Zu meinem Geburtstag gab es auch noch eine riesige Überraschung mit dekoriertem Zimmer und eine kleinen Torte. Selten habe ich soviel Herzlichkeit in einem Hotel erlebt. Wer in Rom Urlaub macht, sollte unbedingt im the Romex übernachten.

Dagelijks vers water op de kamer en een welkomstdrankje voorzien. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en goede aanbevelingen! Ligt achter het Vaticaan en het centrum misschien iets moeilijker te bereiken met de metro, maar zeer goede buslijnen die je naar je bestemming brengen.

Odaya dair tek bir eksik birşey söylemeyeceğim hatta kendim de bir işletmeci olarak ekstralarından bahsedebilirim ( odaya bırakılan şişe şarap ve diğer ekstra jestler) oda temizliği muazzam, harika bir teras, konforlu yatak ve hijyen. Roma'yı bilen bilir yürümeyi seven birisi olmanız gerek günlük keşifler için sırf bu sebeble odada çok fazla zaman geçiremedik diye hayıflanmadık değil. Çevresinde çok keyifli pastaneler, Penny tarzında hesaplı süpermarket ve restoranlar, M1 metro hattı durağı olan Cipro durağına 5 dakikalık yürüme mesafesi vs gibi sayamacağım daha nice artılar. Benden size tavsiye şayet Vatikan müzesine yapacağınız gezi planladıysanız net bir şekilde burada kalmanızı şiddetle tavsiye ederim çünkü Vatikan'a yürüme 8-9 dakikalık mesafede. Amir'e ayrı bir parantez açarak kendisine ve sunmuş olduğu bu konforlu mekana teşekkür etmek isterim.
• Paraskevi (10/5): Υπέροχη διαμονή, άψογη εξυπηρέτηση και ιδανική τοποθεσία. - Το δωμάτιο ήταν υπέροχο και ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες. Πεντακάθαρο, άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, με ένα πραγματικά καταπληκτικό μπάνιο. Η θέα από το μπαλκόνι ήταν πολύ όμορφη και η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική, με τα πάντα γύρω μας και το Βατικανό σε απόσταση περπατήματος. Η κοπέλα στη ρεσεψιόν ήταν γλυκύτατη, ευγενική και απόλυτα εξυπηρετική. Μας βοήθησε σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε, μας πρότεινε εξαιρετικά εστιατόρια, παγωτό, τιραμισού και αξιοθέατα και ήταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας καθοδηγήσει. Μάλιστα, κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μας είχα γενέθλια και μετά από συνεννόηση με τον σύζυγό μου, μας ετοίμασαν μια υπέροχη έκπληξη στο δωμάτιο, κάτι που μας έκανε να νιώσουμε πραγματικά ξεχωριστοί.💕 Αν ξαναβρεθώ στη Ρώμη, σίγουρα θα επιλέξω να μείνω ξανά εδώ. Sie haben sogar gesehen, dass mein Freund Geburtstag hatte und die Überraschung war toll (Danke noch mal).. Das Zimmer ist schön und das Bett bequem. Liegt auch in dem Innenstadtkreis, in den man mit dem Taxi-Festpreis von 55€ vom Flughafen fahren kann.Und das es an einer befahrenen Straße liegt war uns bewusst.

• Camilo (9/5): Estancía dos noches en The Romex. - La ubicación es cercana al museo Vaticano y a la plaza San Pedro. Son unos 15 minutos caminando. Son habitaciones muy bien remodeladas al interior de un edificio antiguo pero bastante bien cuidado en una zona segura. La habitación es amplia, muy moderna y muy bien adornada. Los ammenities de la habitación así como la calidad de las sabanas y las toallas estaban muy bien y el tamaño del baño es amplio. El lugar te deja una nevera con agua , cerveza y soda y una botella de vino todo gratis. Si consumes el agua , al otro día te ponen mas. También capsulas de café y una maquina Nespresso y té y una tetera para calentar agua. La noche antes de irnos nos dejaron un detalle con pasteles y cornettos. Cerca hay dos estaciones de metro para poder conectar con los diferentes lugares historicos. Volvería sin pensarlo mucho. Nada relevante que hablar aquí

Хозяин просто заслуживает отдельной высокой оценки, такого вежливого я еще не встречала, выслал нам все места, которые необходимо посетить (где самая вкусная пицца, паста, джелато, завтраки итд), что значительно упростило наше пребывание, на просьбы откликались очень быстро, каждый день оставляли комплименты в номере, было так приятно😍однозначно буду рекомендовать всем знакомым и сама буду приезжать только сюда🤍

• Michal (10/5): Překrásný design a ještě lepší recepční servis. - Ubytování v Římě předčilo naše očekávání. Od prvního okamžiku bylo vidět, že se zde klade velký důraz na servis, čistotu a péči o hosty. Pokoj byl perfektně uklizený, čistý a úklid probíhal opravdu svědomitě. Velmi jsme ocenili i milou pozornost v podobě vína, čajů a drobného občerstvení u kávovaru, což pobyt ještě více zpříjemnilo. Obsluha/hostitelé byli velmi ochotní, vstřícní a pozorní – cítili jsme se zde opravdu vítaní.✨ Dostali jsme od zaměstnanců i několik tipů, kam zajít na večeři nebo drink.🥂 Lokalita je naprosto skvělá – bydlíte přímo v centru a máte vše doslova na dosah. Velkým plusem je také to, že během 10 minut chůze najdete hned tři skvělé snídaňové podniky s výbornou kávou v evropském stylu, na který jsme zvyklí. Jediné malé mínus, se kterým je ale potřeba počítat, je to, že se ubytování nachází u hlavní silnice, takže provoz může být občas slyšitelný. Pro nás to byl spíše drobný detail a zároveň daň za to, že jste opravdu v centru dění a blízko všemu důležitému. Celkově ale hodnotíme pobyt velmi pozitivně a ubytování bychom bez váhání doporučili každému, kdo chce mít Řím doslova za dveřmi a zároveň si užít komfort, čistotu a skvělý servis. 🌟 Nic ❤️

• ELIZABETH (7/5): Very small hotel, amazing rooms, very clean, nice front desk staff, but in a strange location. - The rooms were amazing - the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in in a very long time. The woman who worked the front desk was also very nice. The bed was amazing, it was very clean, and I appreciated the sparkling water and complimentary bottle of wine. Beautiful bathroom. It was in a weird location in an office building. I didn't realize that when I booked - it was a bit difficult to find, get the keys, etc. It would have been helpful to know that in advance.

• Bianca (10/5): Amazing views, super friendly hostess and cosy comfort - The room was as neat and nicely situated as the pictures showed, but much more cosy than expected. The location was perfect. Even though it’s on a busy road the noice was well cancelled out by the windows and shutters. The area around the Romex was a delight and our lovely hostess send us many recommendations for places around the area. Nothing!

No puedo recomemendar mas efusivamente este sitio, se nota el amor que hay puesto en cada detalle. Veníamos de estar en un sitio muy desagradable y este lugar fue maravilloso, el barrio es super seguro y de muy facil acceso vía transporte público. El personal increiblemente amable.

• Gabija (10/5): Perfect stay at a boutique hotel next to Vatican - Lovely boutique hotel super close to the Vatican and the Metro Line A. The staff including Marco and Sahar are all extremely attentive and friendly, making the stay a great experience, with complimentary drinks provided to the guests, as well as plenty of recommendations in the area and in Rome. The room is beautifully designed and has a spacious en suite bathroom as well as an A/C, the bed is very comfortable, and the views from the balcony are beautiful both with a morning coffee and a late night glass of wine.

The staff was extremely helpful and assisted us in many ways through Whatsapp. Anything we needed, they responded immediately. The rooms were IMMACULATE and the beds and pillow so comfy. The bathroom was GORGEOUS! The view and location, perfect. We liked everything. No issues at all. After 30 days in Europe, it was great to end in an amazing place.

The host was extremely kind and helpful — he even sent us suggestions for restaurants and places to visit, which made our time in Rome even more special. Everything went smoothly, and we truly enjoyed our stay. It's also located near the Metro which makes it even easier to travel around the city and back.

The size of the room with balcony was good enough. The bathroom was so updated and toiletries was very much supplied. It’s a boutique hotel so the set up is new to me and the closet/drawers design is unique of it’s kind. The place is accessible to the metro train and buses. Plenty of restaurants around. It’s very close to the Vatican. The management is so professional and they really made sure that your comfortable and happy with your stay. They answer your inquiry very promptly and provides you all the info you needed while in Rome. This is the only hotel among the 3 that i booked during this Europe vacation that has been so welcoming even before i reached here in Rome. I can’t say enough of this place. Sahar even made a birthday welcome/surprise presents for me when i reached the hotel and stayed late just to welcome/assist us when we arrived. Highly recommended. You guys won’t regret it. Honestly, nothing.
