• Guest (10/5): SOMA ROME BOUTIQUE feels like..."home"! ❤️ - The SOMA ROME BOUTIQUE was warm and welcoming and felt like visiting a friend's home! We were greeted with soft music, beautiful aroma and refreshing coffee, wine & snacks! We enjoyed the elegant decor, room amenities and was impressed by the "special touch" of a note of "thanks." (See attached photo). We truly appreciated the owner, Leo's genuine care and efforts to go above and beyond to offer assistance and appreciated his recommendations (i.e local restaurants and best gelato!) as invaluable! We liked it ALL!

Fabulous location..not to far from central Rome. Lots of cafes & restaurants near by so didn’t need to walk far. Also had the best gelato shop literally 5 minutes walk away 😍 Loved everything about this property. Will recommend to my family & friends and would definitely come back and stay here!!

Отдельное спасибо хозяину Лео , с первых минут как мы вошли уставшие с самолета настроил нас на праздничное настроение в предвкушении ярких эмоций . Никаких замечаний , тихо красиво чисто . В небольшом холле можно комплиментроно выпить кофе и вина из бара . Все и рекомендую . Положительные эмоции гарантированы !

It was such a unique and easy experience staying rig - What I liked the most about this place was how helpful Leo was. He helped me with everything from getting around Rome to exploring the historical places, nice restaurants, ice cream place! He also call the tax for me when I need it! Amazing!
• Magdalena (10/5): Super Kurztripp im wunderschönen Rom und toller Aufenthalt im süßen kleinen Hotel - Zunächst muss man sagen, dass der Service überdurchschnittlich super war! Man konnte das Personal mit jedem Anliegen, jeder Frage kontaktieren und es würde stets geholfen. Bei der Ankunft gab es bereits zusammengestellte Tipps inkl. Routenplaner für mögliche Anlaufpunkte in Rom. Die Lage ist super. Wir haben alles zu Fuß erledigt. Das Zimmer war schön sauber und es gab sogar einen Sekt als Willkommensgeschenk weil ich kürzlich Geburtstag hatte. So wie diese nette Geste war der Service stets sehr zuvorkommend. 100% Weiterempfehlung! Alles war super!

• Flavio (7/5): Querto e banho confortáveis em um local, no mínimo diferente. - O quarto é muito bom, excelente roupa de cama e banho, ótimo colchão e banheiro muito bom, amplo. O encarregado é muito atencioso e simpático. O prédio em que localiza a acomodação e residencial, muito antigo e não é de faácil identificação quando chega, pois não tem qualquer sinalização que se trata de um hotel. O elevador é muito antigo e incomodo para o uso.

• Till (8/5): - Die Lage war toll, die Unterkunft sehr ruhig. Der Empfang und das Einchecken perfekt so auch das Auschecken. Alles war bestens und ich kann die Adresse trotz der unten stehenden Einschränkungen sehr empfehlen. Es fehlt an Ablagemöglichkeiten für Koffer und ein Schrank. Der Safe ist zu klein für ein Tablet aber die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gesichert. Für zwei Personen ist ein Sessel zu wenig.

The property owner Leo was more than helpful to have the room available for an early check in, to give information and directions, to urge us to use the bathroom and/or shower to freshen up when we came back to pick our suitcases before heading to the airport in the afternoon.And he was fluent in English!!! Thank you for the wonderful time, arrivederci... Everything was great 😃

He was kind enough to sit us down to show the whole city and best route to ensure we hit all the major sites. He also provided suggestions for local restaurants which were incredible. The room was clean and the decor was gorgeous! I have no complaints! Would 100% stay here again.
• Nina (8/5): Great stay close to the city center - The Hotel is located very close to the city center and a lot of attractions are within a walkable distance. The communication with the staff was easy and they were super friendly. Our room was well equipped and clean. We felt comfortable there. Cleanliness was very good, but not on spot, as there were some hairs in the shower and a little bit of dust behind the bathroom sink. But this is criticism on a high level and the overall experience was very good.

The design is beautiful, and everything is meticulous, spotless, and polished like a pharmacy. The rooms are well-equipped and feel truly luxurious. Communication was smooth and efficient, and the hotel manager’s attitude was warm and personal - from the welcoming reception, through the quick responses to every request, to excellent recommendations for entertainment and dining. The common lounge is exceptionally pleasant, offering coffee, refreshments, and even wine in a generous atmosphere. We can confidently say this is one of the best accommodations we have ever experienced, and without a doubt we will be happy to return. ---- 😎
• Beipei (9/5): Nice boutique hotel in the center of Rome. Excellent staff. - Very good location. Walking distance to Vatican City and most of the attractions. The staff especially Leo has been very welcoming and helpful. The room is modernly decorated and spacious enough for center of Rome. The facility is equipped with smart locks so convenient to access. The staff has prepared us a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. There’s also cookies, and drinks thoughtfully prepared in the common space. The quilt is too thick and not very breathable, which causes discomfort.

It is clear that so much care has gone into every single detail. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the beds comfortable, and the location is the 10/10 as you are steps away from the best local restaurants. What really stood out to me above all else was the service from the incredible staff. Leo made this trip memorable for us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. He gave me local recommendations, made us espresso every morning, and even had a surprise bottle of wine waiting for me for my birthday! He was available 24/7 via what’s app and went above and beyond to answer any question I had. My mom and I never want to stay anywhere else when we come back to visit Rome! Do yourself a favor and book this amazing place. You won’t be disappointed ❤️ There is not a single thing I have to complain about. Everything was perfect!

Une grande salle de bain luxueuse avec peignoirs. Communication très fluide. Leo est aux petits soins pour ces clients. Plein de délicates attentions. Il recommande de bonnes adresses. Espresso et petits gâteaux le matin mis à disposition avant de s'aventurer dans les rues de Rome. C'est très bien situé pour visiter Rome à pied. Et il y a de bons restaurants locaux aux alentours C'est définitivement une adresse que je recommande. rien à signaler

We could not have wished for a better stay in Rome, the rooms were immaculate and so luxury. The coffee machine and self service bar was a wonderful touch. Leo could not have been a more accommodating host and the cleaner was so friendly too. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The accommodation absolutely made our trip to Rome and we would never stay elsewhere if we return! Nothing at all, cannot fault the property.

Er werd geen ontbijt aangeboden maar gezien het aanbod in de buurt was dit ook geen must. Helemaal niets, vrijwel nog nooit meegemaakt...
• Guest (10/5): Truly fantastic - So many thoughtful extras throughout our stay, Leo the host couldn’t have done more for us from messaging when we arrived to advise us the best way to travel, recommending local gems and explaining where everything was. He organised our airport transfer and we had access to the shower to freshen up pre flight. Nothing!

• Anja (9/5): Super Ausgangspunkt, um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten Rom's fußläufig zu erkunden. - Die Getränke wie Kaffee, Wasser und auch Wein im kleinen und feinen Aufenthaltsraum, waren "for free", ebenso die kleinen Leckereien, die dort immer wieder aufgestellt waren. Der Empfang durch Leo war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Seine Tipps zum Aufenthalt waren super, ebenso seine Restaurantempfehlungen abseits der üblichen Touristenfallen. Leo war für uns auch über Whatsapp erreichbar und seine Antworten folgten immer prompt. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt und war zudem sehr hilfreich. Wir können das Hotel für einen Städtetrip nach Rom absoult empfehlen.

• Michaela (10/5): Wunderbar! - Einfach ALLES - Die Tipps von Leo! Die Lage ist hervorragend. Alles ist fußläufig und mit dem Bus erreichbar. Kostenlose Snacks und Getränke an der Hotelbar. Mit etwas Glück und Geduld ist ein Parkplatz zu finden und kann per App Easy Park bezahlt werden. Das Auto haben wir die ganze Woche stehen gelassen. Es kostet 1 Euro/Stunde und nachts ist das Parken kostenfrei. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• Divya (10/5): Don't think twice. Book your stay. - If there was an option to rate higher than 10, that's what I'd pick for this wonderful place. I traveled alone but felt extremely safe like I would in my own home (well, this is a more luxurious home). 1. Location: So central I was able to walk almost everywhere. There's a lovely restaurant right outside the building- I recommend the coffee, pizza and cream bun. 2. Room: I stayed in suite 1. The pictures on the website don't do the room justice. It exceeded my expectations in terms of size, cleanliness and utility. At par or better than any 5 star I have stayed at with a lot more value for money. The ensuite bathroom was huge and had all the utilities I needed. The bath robes were heaven- ask Leo where you can buy those :) 3. The owner Leo: He was a big part of making my stay happy and comfortable. I was unwell one evening and asked him if there was a way I could order food in. He had the owner from the restaurant downstairs bring me hot a plate of food. He also offered to take me to the doctor or arrange for medication. He was warm and helpful (ask him for travel tips) even before I arrived with specific instructions on how to get there. He was gracious and gave me an early check in too. I honestly cannot imagine staying anywhere else when I return to Rome
• Yassir (7/5): Bed and breakfast set up not a hotel - Good location. Clean room. Comfortable Self service in everything. You basically don’t get any service. This is more of a bed and breakfast (without the breakfast) than a hotel. Booking.com shouldn’t categorize this in the hotel category
• Melissa (10/5): A quiet and modern stay in a quiet neighborhood with an amazing host, Leo - This was the perfect place for a quiet and comfortable stay in Rome. Close to the Vatican and other cultural sites. Also in a great food and shopping neighborhood. Leo was incredibly accommodating ensuring we arrived easily and safely. There was a free wine bar and snacks in the wine bar area. It’s beautifully renovated and decorated. I couldn’t recommend enough!
• Roxana (10/5): Great stay, would definitely return. - Absolutely stunning Boutique Hotel. I am very fussy with where I stay, and have nothing to fault about this hotel. We were welcomed by Leo, shown around and told to help ourselves to free snacks, espresso, wine and prosecco from the bar. He sent us over a really helpful guide of Rome with recommendations of places to eat and visit. Huge help!! We will definitely stay here again, location was fabulous, rooms spotless, great service, couldn’t ask for more. Also, amazing gelato shop just minutes away from the hotel!!

• Jiaqi (10/5): Comfortable and well rested - I travelled in Europe for half a month and this was the best place I've ever stayed! LEO was very helpful and even though we didn't meet up because of the Italian National Day, LEO solved a lot of problems for us (even the neighbourhood facilities). The rooms are very comfortable and modern and the surroundings are quiet. Highly recommended! If I come back to Rome I will definitely keep choosing this place. /
• Joseph (10/5): A lovely visit and we look forward to returning - Location is very nice because it’s walking distance to so many places, yet away from traffic and noise. Although on the 3rd floor, there is a very quant lift. Very comfortable and clean and we are already planning our return Breakfast was a little confusing as there is a breakfast area, but other than the coffee machine we didn’t find much else, including milk. Not really a big deal as there is a coffee shop with pastries right at the door going to the street

• Lulu (10/5): Friendly top accommodation for Rome - Super convenient location with shops, cafes and restaurants around. It’s not the crazy touristic area which is nice. The owner was super helpful, informative and flexible to help my earlier check in when I landed early and had to work. I really appreciate the attentiveness and generosity. This is also shown by the coffee, snacks and drinks in the common area. Just a really nice touch. This is not to overlook the rooms being comfortable and very clean too. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
• Robyn (10/5): A perfect stay for our family visiting Rome to celebrate a 60th birthday all guests from Australia . Love Stoa . - Everything was perfect.Leo the owner and host was most helpful and kept in contact with our group during our 7 nights stay . We had 3 rooms .There is only 5 rooms in the complex so its very quiet and personable. There is a lovely sitting room for guests to sit and have a free wine with lots of snacks to choose from. There is not a single thing to dislike about this Boutique Hotel .
• Eudia (9/5): A refined Roman retreat: stylish, spotless, and sincerely welcoming - The suite, located in a well-kept residential building, radiated understated luxury. Upon entering, we were struck by the quiet elegance of the design a calming palette, quality materials, and a very comfortable bed. The room was spotless, well-lit, and peaceful, ideal for recharging after Rome’s bustle. The host communicated mostly via WhatsApp but remained helpful and responsive throughout the stay. Location-wise, it’s a smart choice: just outside the chaos, but with easy access to the city centre via public transport or a walk. While the room feels like a retreat, the absence of any outdoor space (balcony, patio, or rooftop) was noticeable. A small lounge area with comfortable chairs is provided, but doesn’t fully replace the wish for some Roman air. For longer stays, this could be a limitation for me.

• Anne (10/5): Perfect for solo travel, safe for females. - The perfect property for the solo traveler. The location is incredible ( just off Grafton Street, for the Irish ) I felt incredibly safe. My room was spacious with a huge bathroom. There was piping hot water at all times. I had a small but beautiful Juliet balcony, wrought iron with Louvre doors 🫶 Leo, the owner is incredibly nice. He provided me with detailed information during my stay. I have some allergies, when I asked for specific bedding, he provided this immediately. He also arranged for Chris, the cleaner to clean my room more frequently than usual. Chris is a lovely guy. He keeps the whole hotel spotlessly clean. He was always extremely friendly and polite. There are numerous, beautiful restaurants within five a minute walk. A shout out, to the two, right next door who were very kind to me and charged my phone. Don’t keep the door codes, only in your phone 🫠 I loved the lift, the architecture, the whole building ! I will definitely return for the next Rugby game ☘️

• Emer (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is a real treat. Big spacious room. So quiet at night when wanting to have down time from a busy day of sightseeing. Very close to the Vatican and just across the bridge is the main city centre. Couldn't be any closer. Restaurants are dotted in every corner and real Italian run family restaurants. Leo was a dream to deal with. Very helpful with any question about how to get to places and recommendations for eating out. On the other end of the phone at any time. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The owner of the hotel sent us a few days before our arrival directions and instructions of how arrive to the hotel/apartment as well as recommendations for events, authentic Italian restaurants, shopping centers and more. The hotel is a boutique hotel equipped with everything you need to enjoy on a vacation, very clean, very luxurious toilets and showers, but most of all the kindness of the hotel owner who asked every day what else is missing and what she can do to make our stay at the hotel pleasant. The location is within walking distance to the Vatican, the largest shopping street in Rome and at the same time at a very quiet location. I intend to visit this hotel again with other friends so that they can enjoy those pleasant moments that my wife and I experienced
• Gali (10/5): STOA: The Best of Both Worlds - Hotel Amenities, Apartment Privacy - From the first moment we entered the complex, we understood that this is a unique concept that we haven’t seen everywhere. It's not exactly a hotel, but it's also not an apartment that you rent without knowing what you're getting. It takes all the advantages and combines them in one place. Add to that an excellent location, an attractive price and all the treats you thought about in one place and you got a powerful hosting experience. The rooms are designed in style and the generosity of the hosts is evident in every corner. We took the large suite, and it was spacious, well heated and soundproof.
• Christophe (9/5): Great stay to discover Rome, thank you Leo! - Good location, close to Vatican and the historic center. Host was really welcoming and flexible. We got several free breakfasts at the café next door, as well ass a birthday surprise. AC was a bit finicky to deal with, but is fully controllable with your phone and an app, so no dealbreaker.
• Sophie (9/5): A happiness maker ! - We loved STOA for beeing located nearby attractive sites such as Vatican, Borghese, Piaza del Popolo or the Tibre river, still enjoying the calm of a residential district. But what impressed us the most was the extreme warmful and welcoming personality of the owner who deserves to be labelled a "happyness maker" !
