Guest Reviews
- Guest (1/5): Do not stay here - Nothing as you didn't let me stay there Stop being so picky about people's driving licence
- Robyn (6/5): - The first night, I couldn't even stay at the apartment with my 3 young children and baby because there was nowhere to park that wasn't over a 30 minute walk away! Not hoovered or dusted in a long time. Also hair all over, even on the bedding!
- Hind (8/5): - Excellent communication from the property management company. Fixed a broken sofa bed promptly without any disturbance.
The property was airy, clean and comfortable with lots of provisions in cupboards and bathroom. The location is excellent with very short walking distance to all that whitby has to offer. Guests really need to be made aware that you cannot park here. It is residential permit holders only
Its OK for a short period whilst you unpack but you need to move it straight away. There is a long stay car park at the lesuire centre 5 minutes walk away. Its 10 pounds for 24 hours.
I am a disabled blue badge holder and I made the mistake of thinking my car would be OK on the street of the property. Within 3 hours my husband saw a traffic warden writing me up a ticket. We spoke to him and he told us my car was reported by the residents on the street. Its very common and understandable but to report a disabled person I felt was a low blow. The traffic warden was amazing and didn't issue the ticket. He told me to park on the streets round the corner saying disc zone parking 9am to 7pm. I won't be issued a ticket if my blue badge is displayed.

- Luke (8/5): - It was a lovely little apartment. In a great spot The only thing we really didn't like was the mattress on all the beds, they was so hard and you could feel the springs digging into you! Woke up sore every morning
- Lucy (1/5): Awful - Very little about the property was good Very small and compact
The beds were very uncomfortable
For what it was it was overpriced
The host had minimal customer service skills
No internet
The tv wouldn’t work
The bathroom was falling to bits
The stairway to get into the property was very steep and no suitable for young kids
- Julie (4/5): Pleasant but wouldn’t go back - The property had a well equipped kitchen Some of the crockery and glasses were dirty. The bed linen on the sofa bed was not clean and smelt. There was sand and grit on the floor.
The fridge made an horrendous noise all night. The bathroom panel on the bath was loose.
The property needed a thorough clean.
- Walker (1/5): Worse place we ever stayed! - Location very good. Dirty, not cleaned from previous occupants. Used towels and bedding, spit in the sink, full bins, no WiFi code or parking permit, no welcome basket. Managed by Prim Short Stay, so will be avoiding their properties in the future.
- Douglass (2/5): Dirty shabby apartme - Location Very dirty, internet not working agents not very helpful promised to get it sorted but never did. Bedding dirty and stained we used sleeping bags on top of the bed. Settee very dirty and smelly, cobwebs still there from last year. Hob dirty, floors slippery my son who has MS fell twice. Toilet seat not fitted properly. Would not recomend this place at all. We payed good money for this dirty hovel and We have been robbed AVOID. Cant post all pictures but will post on social media sites and google reviews.
- Moira (7/5): Good - Location near enough to pavilion to walk 3rd floor apartment lots of stairs for elderly guests.
- Philip (3/5): Frustrating - Dealing with Prim Short Stays to sort problems. Huge time delay on responses.
- Ian (1/5): Should have been much better, any response we got from the management was bog standard copy and paste excuses. - This place has such good potential but is let down by the people managing it.
Cobwebs in every room, some strange mould on the staircase, paint peeling off on stairwell.
Advertised as free parking, you need a parking permit, only found this out “after” getting a parking ticket.
Contacted the management who said parking permits are in the welcome pack.
Only problem is there was no welcome pack.
Eventually found permits hidden away in one of the kitchen cupboards.
As a “gesture of good will” they paid 15% of the fine.
No WiFi working during the whole stay.
Very disappointing, could have been much better.
- Karen (1/5): Bad - Nothing No hot water for 2 days. Apartment filthy and dirty. Too dusty and mouldy to spend time in the apartment. Did not cook or eat in due to poor conditions. Disgusting. Don't stay here.
