• Naja (6/5): - Helt fint og billigt hostel - godt til den budgetvenlige backpacker. Personalet var ikke specielt imødekommende. Jeg spurgte efter et sæt rent sengetøj, da min seng ikke var specielt ren - receptionisten sagde ja til at skifte mit sengetøj, men gjorde det aldrig. Da jeg igen ville spørge, var der ingen i receptionen. Beliggenheden var heller ikke særligt god, men det var nemt at tage skytrain.

• Yan (9/5): - Bed super comfortable. I loved the vibe, the staff was here to help all the time, it was super clean and looked new 😇 they played good music you can chill, you can work. Everything looks really nice. Only thing was cold showers only... (but it's ok cause it's refreshing with the heat and you get used to it) Also there's no kitchen...cause again i think it's a new hostel (but for me it was no problem cause I was only eating street food 😁)

• Andre McHenry (10/5): Probably the best value to be found in Bangkok. - It's cheaper here than my Bangkok apartment was, and very comfortable. There are some good restaurants nearby and they have good cappuccino downstairs. Good space available for online work or hob interviews. Nothing important comes to mind, perhaps a little more shelving for toiletries in the shower stalls.

• Usawadee (8/5): Comfy Bed and Friendly and helpful Staff - Staff are very kind and helpful. They do their job well. They always smile and open door for guests. Very clean and comfortable bed. Guests are NOT required to leave shoes downstairs. (My personal preference) Having a cafe downstairs is quite nice but the price is too high for my liking.

• Tomas (10/5): Exceptional - stayed for 3 nights. I'm Argentinian and it was my first experience in Thailand. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were very kind and constantly concerned about making sure I was comfortable. I stayed in a private room that was very comfortable. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The room had air conditioning and a spacious wardrobe with drawers that had locks for added security. The bed was large and very comfortable. The hostel has several common areas, and the bathrooms were always clean. The location is excellent—just a few meters from the green line Skytrain, which connects you to almost all major points in the city. There’s also a bus stop right in front. The surrounding area is full of food options, massage places, street food markets, and shopping malls. Among all the great things, what stood out the most was how kind the staff were—from the guy at the front desk to the people working in the café. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

• Tuman (6/5): Pleasant - It's a 5 minute walk to the bts. 7/11 is nextdoor. The cafe downstairs is nice. No windows in the room, and it doesn't say online. We stayed in the 2 bedroom dorm, and it's impossible to get up onto the top bed.. there is no hand rail, and the ladder is so close to the door. It was horrible everytime. The staff also didn't restock toilet paper in the bathroom, and the upstairs soap was empty for three days. We told staff twice. Apparently we get breakfast with the stay, and we were never told, and didn't have anything.

• Constantin (2/5): Very poor - Staff in the Cafe was very friendly, Good Location After a few days one member of the hostel staff became incredibly rude. I had left my toothbrush near one of the sinks, in a way that nobody was bothered. He insisted that I put it right away, saying other people want to use this sink too. I don’t know if he was just being pedantic or if he has OCD, as there was literally not a single person in that area or rather the whole floor for the entire day except me, which I observed as the hostel was quite empty and I sat right next to this sink on a couch the whole day while working. Maybe instead he should have cleaned the mold from the sink??. He then proceeded to throw my clothes and my towel, that I put there before showering, out of an unmarked closet/locker onto the floor, saying I couldn’t use that particular closet and then wanted me to pick up my now dirty clothes and now dirty towel from the floor and put them in the room right away. I‘m glad that I didn‘t see this staff member often as he made me feel quite uncomfortable. Also from one day on strangely most of the common areas were suddenly marked as „coworking space only“ for no particular reason, which is especially absurd in areas that are full of board games and even a tablesoccer table. While I was almost the only one in the hostel actually coworking, being so inflexible and controlling with their spaces doesn’t make for a great experience, and honestly doesn’t even make sense if it is not for logistical reasons, for which it obviously isn’t in an empty hostel. I could criticize other things too, like the lack of air circulation inside the room or the lack of warm water, but I wouldn’t really have minded that otherwise
• Teri (9/5): Great option for a couple of nights. - Water cooler onsite, nice relaxing area and cafe downstairs were good. Really good price and very clean. Great location, easy to get around and staff super helpful. No choice of breakfast and no coffee (considering it’s a coffee shop that’s weird). Ladder to upper bunk - runs quite far apart so a bit of a struggle.
• Neil (9/5): Lovely, quiet amd charming hostel. - Lovely staff!! So attentive, helpful and thoughtful. Tasty breakfast. Nice cafe downstairs (with coffee). Nice clean bed, quality linen, all fresh. Aircon in room is nice and cold. Shower has good water pressure. The 2 bed bunk private room was compact but very dark and quiet, good for sleeping. Relaxed, small and quiet hostel. Nice small common areas across the 3 levels that have opening doors for some fresh air. Everything is kept clean and tidy. Good value for money. Not far to walk to the BTS. Shops very close if you want (genuine) Thai massage or need 7/11 convenience store. The general suburb is interesting to explore. A quieter area but a quick trip on the skytrain if you want to access for shopping or bars. 24hr access via swipe card to building and key for room door (with 500 baht deposit) One of the nicer hostels I have stayed in SEA. It lives up to it's name, it is charming! I can't think of much. Just a few minor niggles. The shower is not hot, it is a cool shower. It didn't bother me much as the weather is warm. No window or outside ventilation in room. Not a huge problem but I couldn't stay more than a few nights in a small closed room without some fresh air circulating. I have stayed in similar hostels that put a closeable vent (with switchable fan attached) between the room and the common area and find this a good solution to allow you to draw fresh air in during the night. Common areas upstairs are not airconditioned but there are fans moving the air around. In the hotter months it would certainly get warm upstairs but the actual room aircon is great.

• Min (10/5): Exceptional - I had pleasant stay at this hostel!The staff was welcoming and helpful. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with plenty of common areas. I particularly enjoyed the cozy lounge area where they provide some game equipments. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean. The location is perfect – quite close to bus stop and around 6 mins walk from BTS station. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, and affordable place to stay!"

Had to walk back with all luggage because felt confused…when i found the room and opened the door it literally smelled like s*hit. Told staff about it and got some air refresher, told me they will check room in 1hr (never came to check). The water heater was broken. Only cold water. The staff again didnt care at all. Told me to write it in the review so here it is my honest review and experience at this place. Staff is so careless like they smoke opium or something.

• Htein (10/5): Exceptional - First time staying here. Nice hostel with clean facilities. Beds are comfy. Short walk to the BTS station. Staff are helpful and always willing to answer any questions or provide any information you may need. A bonus is there is a cafe at the ground floor and very handy to grab a coffee. Coffees are very nice there.

• Irfan (10/5): Exceptional - If you are looking to make a Bangkok trip then Charming Hostel is the best hostel for everyone, I also stayed here for 5 nights. Because its location is also very good and peaceful. The staff here is also very good and friendly. The facilities here are also very good and cleanliness is maintained here.And it is very comfortable here too. If you are ever coming to Bangkok, then stay here at least for one night.Thank you very much to charming hostel staff, if I ever come to Bangkok again I will step into your hostel.

• Aiden (9/5): Great Location, clean and super friendly staff - The hostel is located only 5 minutes walk from the BTS, there is a nice food court behind the hostel and furthermore there is a 7 eleven just a few doors down. The beds are comfortable, good storage room for personal items in the beds and are also curtained with a light. As well as locked storage below the bed. The cafe downstairs serves free breakfast included with the price and items in the cafe are 10% off for customers. The common areas are quite comfy with plenty of space to work and they leave free snacks out for customers. There could be a handrail to help get up on to the top bunk bed, but this is just a minor thing.
• Curtis (10/5): Fantastic stay, comfortable and great value for money. - Great location and fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful. Some of the doorways are low, maybe a ‘mind your head’ sign would be good.
• Kar (10/5): Amazing hospitality with great cleanliness and aesthetically pleasing hostel. - I absolutely enjoyed the stay! The location that is near to BTS Phra Khanong, 5-7 mins walking distance . The owners and staff are a group of young people who are sincere and loving in managing the hostel and very welcoming to the guests. You could see they have put in great-detailed effort into every corner of the hostel, not just to make it through but to make guests feel happy and satisfied. Lastly the 5 star cleanliness and it’s newly opened in December 2024. Besides, there is 7-11 and massage shop just next to the hostel. What I like about the hostel is there is a cafe downstairs that serve great drinks and a nice place to chill. I am so returning to this hostel! On the last day, they made my day by giving me matcha (my fav) drink for free to mark a wonderful conclusion for my trip! There is absolutely nothing I dislike.
