• Clara (7/5): An alright stay, but no one fixed our broken shower - Nice location close to the Buchanan bus station and the city centre. The room was fairly clean and comfortable. I do think it’s a nice idea to rent out empty student housing during the summer. The reception staff for the student housing and the staff for tourists are not the same people. The staff that handles tourists does not work on Sundays - when we checked in on a Saturday and noticed that evening that the shower was not working, the staff at the reception said they couldn’t help us and no one answered our message on booking, therefore our shower did not get fixed.

• Emma (8/5): Aisling on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. Some of the other staff didn’t seem to know as much about t - Location was great, the studio apartment was good sized and bright, comfortable. Aisling on reception was helpful. The on site gym was good. Lack of adequate recycling facilities, some of the staff were not very helpful. The Teflon pots weren’t great and no large towels were provided. No kettle was provided. It would have been helpful to know this in advance.

• Guest (6/5): Functional if not particularly comfortable. - Good communication from hosts and easy check in. Ok for a few nights and good location for Strathclyde University, the city centre and train/bus stations. Pretty clean but could do with a little maintenance like unblocking the shower drain. Very basic room. Didn't have an oven despite listed on the advert, and could have done with some basic cleaning products and furnishings. For example you don't expect to have to provide a toilet brush or bedside lamp! There were some issues with noise & multiple fire alarms including having to leave the property at 11pm.

• Addie LaRue (7/5): Ok minimalistic room - The room is new with bigger than twin bed, desk and closet. There are free toiletries in the bathroom. There is a laundromat and snacks machine in the lobby of the student home. Excesive prepared messaging but not answering quick enough to questions. Not enough toilet paper and no garbage bins in the room eventhough we had to throw the garbage ourselfs.

• Argyro-Maria (8/5): Value for money - Very helpful and nice staff. The room was quiet and the place felt safe. It had the basics; a nice long desk, wardrobe and a bed. Location was good, a 10-15min walk from the center with a supermarket nearby which is handy. Room was clean and tidy when I went in. The bathroom light +fan turned off automatically (and it took a while), which is quite annoying. The board above the desk could be replaced as it smelled a bit of dust.

• Martin (5/5): - Central location, cool common area and staff were very nice. When I arrived I think the company that looked after the room forgot I was coming. The room was stripped bare without any sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, etc. The staff were as shocked as me and credit to them they did their best to gather some supplies to make the room habitable. Apart from that, it's got what you need for a night or weekend and within 10 mins walk of good bars and restaurants.

• Marieke (7/5): Good - The room and badroom are good. I did had a waterboiler on my room, do there was no way to get a cup of tea there or in the surroundings.
• Veshal (9/5): Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. - It was conveniently located near the Glasgow city centre. Having a Tesco just around the corner made it even more convenient. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The room wasn’t cleaned properly, found some else hair on the shower handle, the drain wasn’t working the first time I showered so was standing in my dirty water, had to call someone to fix it. There was dust everywhere on the cabinets and shelves. The pots and pans still had food residue. I was woken up by a very strong burnt fermented smell coming from outside. The windows were too small so no proper ventilation system and the room was very hot, was sweating all the time

• João (8/5): Very good value for money. - Cheap, clean, comfortable and in an ok location. The private bathroom was very appreciated and the bed was comfortable. There were a few things I would change in the apartment. First of all, there should be a second lighting option, since the main lights in the bedroom are very white. Then the lights in the bedroom worked with a sensor (which is fine), but they always turn on the ventilator and stayed on for some 20 minutes. Finally, there was nothing to clean the toilet bowl with.

• Chloe (5/5): Way too hot!! - The room was nice, close to the city centre and there was laundry facilities on site. It was around 30° each day in the room, regardless of the time or if the window was open. It was warm in Glasgow during our stay but not warm enough to cause such horrific heat. 2 people stayed in the room and the bed only had 2 pillows, which were quite thin. When we requested more we were told that 2 was “standard” and they wouldn’t provide more. There’s an oven but no oven gloves which proved challenging. The bathroom is nice but the light and fan are on a timer which I estimate to turn off around 30 mins after the last motion detected and the fan is very loud.
• Sašo (5/5): Good amenities, but intrusive check-in, excessive messaging, and poor room comfort - The property offers several good amenities: a gym, laundry room, common area, and a basketball court. Reception is open 24/7, and one staff member kindly lent me a charger, which I really appreciated. The room was very basic for the high price—just a bed and cupboards, no toiletries, no hangers, no trash bin, and a window that couldn’t be opened. The lights were sterile and uninviting. Wi-Fi access was unnecessarily complicated and full of restrictions. The kitchen existed but wasn’t accessible without extra charges, and the cleaning fee was disproportionately high. The check-in process felt intrusive, requiring both an ID photo, a selfie and whole list of questions, with no option to verify in person. Most frustrating of all, I received an overwhelming number of messages—reminders about booking, check-in, student-only rules, my upcoming stay, check-out, property rules, and even review requests. It bordered on harassment. I’ve never received so many messages from a property before, and it made the experience more stressful.

The shower didn't drain at all, meaning you had to turn the water off every 30 seconds or the bathroom would flood. I also think it was a bit overpriced for what was being offered.

J'ai déjà été hébergé en foyer pour étudiants sans aucun problème à Oban ou à Dublin et même ailleurs. pendant les vacances. J'ai été prévenu le jour avant ma venue qu'on ne m'acceptait pas. J'ai trouvé in extremis un hôtel à Glasgow. Hôtel Z où l'accueil est chaleureux. Verre de vin et plateau de fromages offert ce jour-là La façon cavalière dont j'ai été prévenu de l'annulation de ma réservation alors que j'étais en route vers l'hôtel, soit moins de 24 heures à l'avance. Les étudiants ont des filières spécifiques comme Erasmus ou autres pour voyager. Je suis très mécontent
• Silvina (5/5): Acceptable – Budget accommodation - The price was really affordable compared to other accommodations. Just keep in mind that they strictly require proof that you’re a student. The location is convenient, close to the city centre, although the area itself isn’t the nicest. The apartment was comfortable, although it had a few minor issues. We didn’t like that, upon arrival, our reservation wasn’t properly registered. The receptionist wasn’t able to solve the issue, and we had to contact Booking ourselves so they could confirm the reservation. It was also disappointing to find trash from the previous guests in the studio. On top of that, both the kitchen and bathroom sinks, as well as the shower, were clogged and the water wouldn’t drain properly. We stayed several days, and when we asked for more toilet paper, they told us that only one roll is provided at check-in, and after that each guest has to buy their own. Overall, the front desk service was not helpful. Any request, even the simplest ones, had to be managed through Booking, which was very inconvenient.

There was a clause that use of kitchen is strictly prohibited was frustrating as they had no centralised kitchen as well for any food. So we have to buy cooked cold food as I can't use any fridge or microwave to store or reheat. Also, there's no dustbin available just a bag to keep the stuff in, you have to take waste out yourself which is fine but the dustbins are not located anywhere nearby the accomodation. Its a bit of a walk outside to take the trash out.

• Sheau Yun (4/5): - The location is within walking distance to central - about 12 mins walk. The building is secured. The floor wasn’t cleaned, it was sticky with shoes marks. The shower drainage was so slow that the shower tray flooded during shower, very disgusting and unhygienic. Flagged to the team through messenger and received a message that this will be attended but no one approach at all until checkout. The mattress is also quite uncomfortable, very springy and soft.

Since it’s a dorm you need key card to go through many doors to get to your room. Shower had a clog, which caused water to pool. I wasn’t clear who to tell, and just took quick showers because my stay was short

• Ian (4/5): Well located. Room was dirty. The external agency managing the property was slow to respond. - Well located. The property is managed by a third party, off-site agency, so the desk staff can't help with a number of things including the cleanliness of the rooms. For example, despite being a type-1 diabetic who needed to use a fridge to store my temperature sensitive medication, it took the external agency more than two days to approve my use of the fridge. It is also ridiculous to mandate people not be able to use the kitchen. Despite the low upfront cost, I eventually spent more on food because I had to eat out every night than if I had booked an Airbnb. In that sense, the property is only cost competitive against nearby hotels.

• Veronica (3/5): Hopeless accommodation. - Relatively close to city centre Both the drains in shower and wash basin were blocked and thus could not be used. Apparently the drains could not be unblocked because 'the maintenance man only comes during the week'. The studio was poorly cleaned after the last guest. The bathroom was full of hairs and in the living room I found nail clippings. Again, the lack of cleaning could not be fixed in a weekend. Whilst the studio comes with a kitchenette, it does not come with a kettle so water needs to be boiled in the microwave. A drying towel is also not provided so after use of crockery you have to wait until it is air dried to use it again.

• Emily (6/5): - Well-located (15 minutes' walk from Glasgow Central) and a reasonable price. Quality of accommodation is about the same as a basic hotel and is pleasant for a short stay. Very quiet over the summer - few other guests and so no disturbance. Good storage for clothes. Bed is good - larger than single size, maybe 1.5 size. Would only fit two people if slim and friendly. Booking team over-communicates invasively; if you don't answer one of their many standard emails immediately, expect them to phone you, even if you're at work. However, the booking team is not related to the on-premises staff, who are friendly and helpful. Property advised with kitchen access but on arrival signage made it clear that the kitchen was "closed" and an extra cleaning charge may be made if it was used. If cooking is important for your stay then consider explicitly confirming with venue in advance. Bring earplugs and an eye mask - blind does not shut out the bright dawn sun, and bathroom light is on a timer so makes a loud noise for around 15 minutes after the bathroom has been vacated.
