Guest Reviews
- Amyofaus (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing experience to stay in this tiny house and horses farm - Amanda and Peter were exceptional with us. The tiny house was very confortable and all you need for a weekend away.
The surrounding property was well looked after and we got to enjoy daily encounter with the horses. Amanda loved to share her passion for horses with us. It was just a perfect 4 days away in the countryside. Nothing
- Baby Ann Kathlyn (6/5): -
- Raul (10/5): PETAMA farm is family… - The Host Peter and Amanda with their animal friends made us feel super special! PETAMA farm is full of charm and delight. And sunset with the horses absolutely a blessing.

- David (10/5): Comfy well appointed tiny home in a pleasant location - Lovely clean and well appointed tiny home. Very comfortable with plenty of hot water and comfy bed. Little chocolates on arrival a nice touch. Peter (Amanda was away) was a delightful host. We will come again. The rooster never went to bed 😃
- Helena (10/5): - Casita muy acogedora rodeados de caballos, vacas, burros y muchos más animales. Perfecto si quieres tranquilidad
- Fiona (8/5): - A comfortable tiny home in a rural setting. It was great to have a good value place to stay in Grandchester.
- Glenn (6/5): Tiny house was a treat however bring hearing protection if you are a light sleeper! - Easy to check in, host was friendly, country vibe, fire pit and chairs provided, bedding was comfortable and clean.
Strolling through the paddocks was relaxing, viewing the horses and birdlife was a treat but not much else to do at the property as the hosts were away for the weekend, but that was fine. Local pubs and attractions are laid back and friendly. After check in the host was away for the weekend, so no breakfast was available - but that's ok.
Host's dogs remained at the property and barked mainly throughout both nights.
Host also has 3x roosters that crowed throughout both nights, non-stop.
Location is approx. 150m from a freight train line, so trains were running throughout both nights.
Sleeping during the first night was challenging at best. Second night had to purchase ear plugs, so sleep was improved, however the host's animals (for us) were a noise problem.
- Mardi (9/5): Excellent, we would love to come again and spend longer to enjoy the property more. - The tranquility of the setting, the tiny home was fresh and new and very well appointed, comfortable bed and fresh water 🙏
- Pamela (7/5): Very nice but hampered by the long drive to get there. - Very clean and comfortable bed. Nice big windows gave a feeling of space inside the tiny house.
I spoke to the host and explained that we would now not be staying the second night of our booking. She was very nice and said I should tell booking.com but I haven't done so and can't work out how to do that. Our GPS took us on the scenic route for 1 1/2 hours out of Gatton. Getting back to Gatton next morning took only 1/2 an house as we got directions from our host.
More lighting needed outside - maybe a sensor light to assist getting from the car and up the couple of steps. A railing would be good.
I spoke to the host about including a chux / cloth in the kitchen area to assist in keeping that area tidy and dry - she said she would do that.
- Hannah (10/5): Absolutely perfection - Loved the whole experience of the stay! It was absolutely amazing & definitely using this place again to stay in the future
- Anthony (10/5): Wonderful, what a treat away from the rat race - Amazing little getaway, horses, walks and hosts were fantastic Nothing it was perfect
- Lisa (10/5): Peaceful, enjoyed the birds flying around, watch horses in paddock. So relaxing - Really enjoyed our stay, always wanted to see what like to live in tiny house No tv got a bit bored
- Jayne (10/5): Like glamping on wheels with all the luxuries. - Petama by Tiny Away was amazing! Such a cute, boutique little tiny house, it was like glamping on wheels (and of course with the luxuries of air conditioning and a bathroom). Amanda, the host was amazing! Nothing was ever an issue. This little place is a great location to rest and recharge, use as a base for nearby activities or make use of the horse activities (additional cost but well worth it!). The facilities were very clean, everything was at your fingertips for a no stress stay. We woke to the sounds of a working farm and enjoyed the view of endless green paddocks and horses frolicking together. Would definitely stay again! We absolutely loved it! We loved everything about our stay!
