- ALEXANDRE (7/5): Convenient location between airport and city centre - Conveniently located fairly close to the airport and Didsbury tram lines. Nice suburban environment, easy parking on the street. Renovated, clean. I actually did not get the duplex advertised but a similar apartment, a flat on the ground floor. Sound proofing is not great (daytime traffic is perceptible - due to old single glass panes - 1st floor neighbours are a bit like with you when their children play and scream). Toilet seat does not match the bowl (is too small), you fall through (!). Bedroom windows did not open (tough to get fresh air in then). Could not get the stove to work, so dining happened to be a problem. I unfortunately got in touch with a wrong property manager (did not contact the right one...), and those did not realise I wasn't in their place though I mentioned I was on Seymour Grove. The misunderstanding lasted about 4 days, too long for getting the hob fixed in a week. Ceiling more 2.20 m high than 2.50.
