Guest Reviews
- Jonathan (10/5): Compact, well-presented one-bed Sunset Cottage - Fantastic rural Cotswold location with great walks. We were upgraded to a small one-bedroom sunset cottage with outdoor seating and great views. You can walk to a local pub for food and a drink, of course.
- Jonathan (10/5): This is a quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage…in a beautiful spot. No hesitation in recommending . - Samantha has painted beautiful paintings which adorn the rooms. Her creative and generous touches are everywhere…even down to the homemade jams, Bread, butter. Milk, coffee, tea, and even a chilled bottle of Processo awaited us …! The property itself is very quiet, with beautiful walks close by and a fabulous Cotswold pub up the road. There’s little “not to like” here, TBH…the road outside is very quiet in the evening and night time. It can be a busy for a brief time at rush hour, but quickly dissipates and is quiet again…to the degree to which My wife and I could happily and safely walk our dog up the road after breakfast.

- Kevan (8/5): Ideal location for people who love the outdoors. - Very peaceful in a superb location
- Hickson (10/5): -
- Marisa (10/5): Great for a short break - Beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen with breakfast supplies, comfy bed, good shower, very short walk to a great pub, beautiful location, very helpful and responsive host who cares about the environment and wants her guests to have a good experience. Nothing to add here
- Will (9/5): Super cute cottage - The cottage was lovely. Beautiful interior which was very well thought through and finished to a high spec. We had two nights as a couple and our 5 month old baby. Samantha lent us a travel cot which was very helpful. The little kitchen/dining area was perfect for breakfast (excellent home made muesli provided). The village is beautiful with an apple orchard and amazing views over the Cotswolds. We had two very good meals at the pub up the road (Yew Tree) and at the next village along (Crown Inn). Would recommend to any small young family on a budget

- Gilby (10/5): Wonderfull stay - great location, friendly staff and very clean - Beautiful oak & newly refurbished
- jonathan (8/5): Had a fantastic stay in an apartment that had everything we needed in a great location - Cozy apartment with enough space for the two of us and our greyhound, in a fantastic location with access to stunning countryside quite literally just outside the front door.
- Tim (7/5): Good location in Cotswolds - Nice village with a good local pub and the view of the sheep in the field. The bed was comfortable and the slippers were a nice touch. The host was available to chat and responded quickly to questions. The kitchen floor could do with a clean. There are no windows to open - mainly due to the fact that it's a house that has been split up into different units. The description mentioned that there was an iron and ironing board available but that turned out to be false. Finally there's a road right out the front of the house which gets some through traffic and tractors driving past.
- Pamela (10/5): This was a lovely well appointed, well located apartment. We enjoyed our stay. - N/A The apartment was on a bend on the road through the village on which cars seemed to be travelling very fast and suddenly appeared. Parking for our car was on the other side of the road and crossing the road had to be done carefully and quickly.
- Justin (7/5): A charming and well-located cottage for Cotswolds exploration, but some practical considerations—like parking, road nois - The property had a lovely cottage atmosphere and was well situated for exploring the Northern Cotswolds. It worked well as a base for day trips and countryside walks. The local pub didn’t quite live up to expectations. Parking under the large tree left my rental car covered in bird droppings, which meant an early trip to the car wash before departure. The property is located on a fairly busy road, with some road noise in the evenings, and getting in and out of the parking area—especially from the blind corner—felt a bit nerve-racking. Also, while air conditioning was listed, the property only had a ventilation system, not actual cooling.
- Jayne (10/5): Perfect - Very clean and comfortable
- Charlotte (9/5): A very relaxing and comfortable stay. - Very comfortable bed! Crossing the road!
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful little property, very peaceful, from the complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cereal, to the homemade toiletries...bathrobe & slippers , all very nice and welcoming!
Sam made me feel very welcome!
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy cottage perfect for two people. Lovingly decorated and furnished.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
