Guest Reviews
Багато фруктів в all inclusive. Отель трохи притомився та потребує ремонту. All inclusive є - але іноді не вистачало різноманіття.
- Baiba (9/5): - The Good:
· Clean & Functional Rooms: Our room was very clean and everything was in working order. The housekeeping and maintenance teams are doing a great job.
· Excellent Staff: The staff were consistently helpful, friendly, and created a welcoming atmosphere.
· Delicious Food: The food was a highlight—tasty, delicious, and felt like homemade meals.
· Great for Families: Perfect for a family vacation. Features include:
· A small playground for children.
· Face painting by the pool.
· A beach with a gentle, low walk-in entry into the sea, which is ideal for small kids.
· On-Site Amenities: The pool bar is a nice included perk. The daily ice cream and pastries were a lovely touch.
· Well-Kept Grounds: The hotel's territory is beautifully cleaned, maintained, and landscaped. Points to Consider:
· Room Decor: The rooms are functional and clean but are in need of a little refreshing and modernisation.
· Beach Access: The path and area to the beach are disappointing. There is a significant amount of garbage, dirt, and dog mess, which is a stark contrast to the hotel's clean grounds. This seems to be a lack of local government maintenance rather than the hotel's fault.
· Location & Shops: The hotel is quite isolated. There are no proper shops nearby, only a small shop in a neighbouring camping area. A taxi to Sozopol costs around 8 EUR each way.
· Star Rating: Honestly, this feels more like a very good 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. Manage your expectations accordingly.
- Kamitoy Kamitoy (9/5):
- Yosif (3/5): Very disappointed by Hacienda - The only good was the location of our room. We were placed in " Building A " and this was the closest one to the beach. There is no parking for guest vehicles. On arrival we were surprised with a good receipt for the parking charge.
There are no ramps for baby trolleys.
Most of the staff didn't speak Bulgarian, which was a surprise for me!
We've booked our reservation only with breakfast, and thank God we didn't book the rest of the meals.
The variety of food for breakfast was almost the same every morning.
And last for this kind of service the price should be less.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - Let me start off by saying that I've never left a review in my life, let alone a negative one. However, the experience at this hotel was so disappointing and shocking that I feel compelled to warn others. To sum it up, the place is completely unsafe and does not meet any sort of regulatory safety standard. I booked a two-bedroom with my two young boys. Upon entering, I noticed that the AC in one of the bedrooms was on and leaking water, which is such a dangerous situation. I called maintenance and fortunately they fixed it quickly. The next day, I noticed that the bathroom boiler was leaking massive amounts of later. So much so that the floor was fully covered and soaked and one couldn't use the bathroom. I put in a service request with the front desk and two days later, no action was taken. The following day, I noticed that in the living room there was a massive water leak coming from the ceiling and the leak was going over an ELECTRICAL OUTLET. I've never felt so unsafe on a vacation. I cannot believe this place is allowed to operate and be in business, especially since so many young families stay there with kids. Following this experience, the front office and the hotel management were very rude and unsupportive, taking no accountability for this unacceptable situation. All in all, I highly recommend you look at other resorts and avoid this one. The two hotels next door seemed lovely and had similar beach access.
- Denitsa (5/5): Passable - The location was next to the beach It's not enough you paying 300+ lv a night but when you get there you need to pay also for parking which is not so well maintained. There is no access for strollers, we had to carry it up and down the stairs( and they are a lot). In the dining room everybody smoking, so it's impossible to sit outside and inside there was no air-conditioning.

- Ana (9/5): BEST SUNSETS EVER! - The location is unique! We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets in front of the hotel every day. The staff was very friendly and although some did not speak English, they tried to communicate and help us with everything. We had a great time and although we read very bad comments about the hotel, for us it was different and we enjoyed our stay. They have to fix the water leak they have in the bathroom
- Miroslava (6/5): Pleasant - The food was really nicely cooked, fresh and tasty, and there was a variety. The rooms were specious. The location is good, the beach is nice and the water is clear. We were disappointed from the so called all inclusive, which was more like a full board. Some drinks are available only in the restaurant, others only in the pool bar. No snack bar, the afternoon snacks are between 3PM and 5PM and often offer the leftovers from breakfast.
The sunbeds and umbrellas require payment, and there was no option to reserve them for the duration of our stay. It was a constant challenge to find a space in the paid area.
- Martina (4/5): Disappointing - Only the location and facilities. It was dirty. The all inclusive doesn’t offer coffee before 11.00h the alcohol is only the lowest quality there was no wine at the pool bar. It smell like urine everywhere. There is only one toilet in a restaurant for 300 people. No parking spaces nearby.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simeon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manova (8/5): The stay was nice in general. - I liked the friendly staff, free parking next to the hotel, very close to the beach, clean and tidy place with good air-conditioning. The property is not comfortable for families with young children using pushchairs/prams. We had to carry the buggy up on 15-20 steps till we get to the lift. Even ground and first floor don't have easy access for buggies and people have to carry children, pushchairs, luggage upstairs. A simple ramp can be fitted and make the holiday with children much more pleasant. Also not suitable for disabled people for the same reason.
- Ismael (8/5): Very good - The hotel, in general, was good It was hard to find a place for parking.
- Snezhana (8/5): Very good - Location Money for value not sufficient
- Yuliy (1/5): They have cheated on us - I’ve booked all-inclusive but they have said we paid only for breakfast and wanted us to pay 7 - Location is nice. Limited parking options, dusty surroundings.
Staff was tottaly inadequate!
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bogdan (1/5): Bad -
- Ivanova (10/5): Perfect vacation!!! - I loved the breakfast time - early enough, abundant and rich, greta coffee, vegan food and beverage included - pat, rice milk, I loved it! My puppy adored the fruits as well. Everyone was really polite to me and my puppy!!! Adorable place! There was no option to pay with a card in the complex. The manager promised to deal with it in the next days.
- Dimitr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kolev (7/5): Good -
- Tcherneva (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything. The location, the beach, the breakfast, the room. The staff was extremely nice and kind :) N/A
- Andrei (10/5): I am a big fan of second chances - my previous visit was not top, but now it was brilliant -
- Alexandar (8/5): Very good -
- Jolanta (9/5): Superb -
- Vasilena (6/5): Pleasant - The decorations and how close it was to the beach. It was also way to get to Sozopol. The gardens were beautiful as well. The food wasn’t very good.
- Stanislava (9/5): Superb -
- Diana (9/5): Superb - I read so many negative comments and honestly, I can’t really understand where was the problem - the studios were nice and modern, the view is beautiful, it was clean, staff was always kind and helpful, and the complex is 1 minute from the beach. Overall, I had a quite good time! When you put things in perspective, it is probably the price-quality ratio. For 240 leva a night (for the cheapest room booked months in advance when prices were also lower), there was no proper room cleaning for the 4 nights which meant quite some sand at the end of our stay, and the breakfast seemed a bit basic and low quality for the price. The famous uncomfortable sink indeed makes the bathroom wet even but that was not really a big deal.
- Aleksandar (6/5): It was okay except the terrible breakfasts and the hair that wasn’t somehow cleaned from the bed. - The breakfast was absolutely terrible. Everything was of the worst possible quality.
- Evelina (7/5): Good - The hotel and the location near to the sea is excellent. Rooms are big and comfort. The food was monotonous and did not match the hotel category. I am not satisfied with the cleaning staff in the rooms. Should have one on a 6 day stay and they showed up after calling.
- Monica (8/5): Very good -
- Inna (8/5): Very good -
- Ady (9/5): Superb -
- Nikolai (7/5): Good -
- Kristiyan (9/5): Great - The staff and the location Didn’t clean the rooms every day. Elevator was too noicy on the last floor.

- Darmonska (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monika (7/5): Overall great stay . - Great location , amenities and apartments were very good. Comfortable mattresses, AC , furniture. We had the all inclusive option and the food wasn't great. Breakfast was excellent, lunch was fine, dinner was lacking choices and the food was not enough.
- Ивелин (5/5): Passable - The room was large, clean and spacious. The pool and the bar next to it were fine too. The restaurant, the food, the staff were absolute disaster! Dirty tables, chaotical service, pre-baked meals...
- Michelle (7/5): It was good - relaxing and fun. The kids loved the beach and the pool. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of choices. - Location to the beach, spacious rooms, the pool, the family- friendly atmosphere I asked for extra towels and they never arrived. This happened twice. I also dislike the locks where you need to use a key to unlock the door from the inside - it seems like such a fire hazard to me but it’s very common in Europe
- Solaque (6/5): Pleasant -
- Remus (10/5): Excelent -
- Avetisyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Svetoslav (5/5): Too expensive for what it offers. - Very close location to the beach and the breakfast was nice. It is almost impossible to find a place for parking. The staff at the reception told us while checking in "you should try and find where to park".
- Martin (3/5): If it wasnt literally on the beach, this hotel should be closed. Really noisy staff during the early mornings and dirty - Only its location. Really dirty bathroom. It was disgusting.
- Simeon (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Wonderful place wonderful reception staff you will see the three of us again soon! - Love the reception staff so helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was good part from the coffee machine the coffee was worse than the sea water but great place and so close to the beach and would definitely go back again! The coffee yuck! The worse coffee I’ve ever had! Even one of the staff members tried it and almost puked! But everything else was amazing!
- Красимир (9/5): Superb -
- Анита (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabell (6/5): Pleasant -
- Keti (8/5): Very good -
- Andrei (3/5): Good location, Got Foodpoisoning, Mold in the Bread - The Location was great. The Room was great. The Pool was good. The sea (which is not necessarily a Hotel plus or minus) was Brilliant - shallow water for approx. 100m, clean, transparent, brilliant. The BIGGEST issue we had (wife, 1 child and myself) was that one evening the wife ate a mushroom soup and got really sick from it. I went to the front desk to let them know of this and their answer was "usually children get sick" - as I explained MY WIFE of 30+ years was sick, and the manager left... That was unbelievable!!! I went to get some bread for my wife - because she needed to eat SOMETHING - and the bread HAD MOLD. I went to see the manager again and was dismissed until I threatened to call the Customer Protection. Afterwards they offered us a free dinner (we were All Inclusive...). Overall bad experience regarding the Food/Manager
- Sabina (9/5): Superb -
- Mihaela (8/5): Great hotel - The hotel was super. The apartment was bigger than what we were expecting and it was very stylish. We got a compliment from the hotel - our room was with a sea view which was great! The hotel was great but Sozopol on the other hand No. There is no place to go on a walk, only the old Town. All the restaurant were super overpriced for a little amount of food. Better eat a burger or a pancake from the fast food around instead of going to the restaurants.
- Elena (7/5): Not what I expected. - Location to the beach is perfect, the whole architecture of the hotel is beautiful, the alleys and multiple benches are really nice. The rooms size (except bathroom) and furniture are nice and cozy. Pool bar looks nice and cozy, the pool chairs were really comfortable and good. The food was fresh and tasty. Location is great, perfect. The rooms are nicely arranged and furnished, but some things were not quite meeting the high level - uncomfortable sofa bed for the person sleeping in the living room, miniature TV with very poor channels list (not even one kids TV channel), small and uncomfortable bathroom sink (otherwise nice design), broken and unfixed this and that, creaking doors.
Food was tasty and fresh but poor choice. For 6 days there was fish in just one meal and it was breaded mackerel... Not what I expected from a 4 star sea hotel!
Kids entertainment was poor. The playground was nice but looks like normal outdoor playground. There was no closed secured place for kids with animators or entertainment or games or activities, etc. There is mini-disco in the evening in the middle of dinner time and that's all there is especially for kids.
I didn't manage to check on the daily pool activities (morning gymnastics, pool gymnastics and zumba) so I cannot tell how good they were.
There were rarely people in the pool, the water was too cool (I didn't get in for that reason).
The pool bar works up to 22:00 which is too early for a big hotel with all inclusive.
Parking is too expensive having in mind that you pay a lot for the stay anyway.
Paying for umbrella and beds on the beach is also disappointing .
Overall it was not very bad, but small things add up and we most likely not come back.

- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Halil2205 (8/5): Very good -
- Dimitar (6/5): Pleasant - Very good location Not clean enough, noisy, food wasn’t anything to write home about.
- Ivan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dimitrova (6/5): A family friendly resort with a lot of potential but not using its full resources and lacking good management. - The location and the proximity to the beach which has clear water and golden sands.
The activities for the kids were really nice as well. - Stefi was great with kids and my son really enjoy the kid’s disco every evening. We were all inclusive but we had to pay for the sun-beds, parking and pretty much everything. Also, I don’t know who has designed the bathroom sink but it was useless and it was leaking on one of the corners.
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Chavgova (7/5): A good hotel. With some small improvements it could really nice. - I liked the location and the pool area some improvements in the rooms are needed - proper wardrobe, hot water 24/7, cleaning of the rooms at least once every 2 days. The breakfast is very diverse but quality of the food is mediocre.
- Слав (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ranciu (2/5): I will never visit this property again for my and my loved ones health. - the place was near the sea, had indoor elevator, 2 units on air condition bad smell in the room from the bathroom and mold, we have found dead flyes and bees inside the lobby, the bed and one towel was with hair, the room wasn’t very clean, there were some marks of mopping on the flooring floor
- Claudia (8/5): Very good - It is a nice complex near the sea. Our appartment was modernly designed and the view on the beach was pleasant. The parking: despite the fact that we found a spot in the complex parking, an unfriendly parking guy kicked us out in a public parking, improvised in the proximity of the beach.
The restaurant: despite good food and service, everything is undersized, beginning with the terrace. One has to stay in line for practically anything, from water to beer, from burgers to gauffres. The bar in the complex has an extremely poor offer for all inclusive guests, for exemple the caffe frappé is not included.
The buildings: despite the fact that the majority of the guests are families with small children, the access to the rooms is not provided with stroller platforms, which makes the process of guetting in and out a nightmare. We have 11 months twins and every deplacement was very phissical.
The pool was ouț of order for most of our stay and no compensatiin was proposed to us for this lack of service
.
- Silviu (8/5): Decent but they don't struggle to offer a pleasent stay. - Very close to the beach. I was lucky to get a large apartment. 1. No parking, there were some parking areas but apparently not for me.
2. There was a guy (looked like an employee) that offered to take me to a parking lot and after I got a spot then told me that I have to pay daily, it was not a parking but a dirt road through some trees. He then showed me the way to the reception by going through a hole in the fence.
3. I've asked asked for a normal 230V plug to charge my EV but they refused, I would have payed.
4. Loud music at night, I guess coming from the bar.
5. Cheap draft beer at the bar (the free kind)
6. Things that should have been available at all times, like ice-cream or some small pancakes, you could only get some if you were lucky.
7. They didn't clean the room daily, it's not that it needed cleaning, but when the toilet paper was finished had to go to reception to get some (they didn't clean the room not even after being notified).
8. Only one remote for 2 AC units.
9. No beach lounger included at the beach, you could pay for it but there were also free spots for a towel on the sand.
10. The dining area was basically in an enclosure (although there were no walls on a side there was little space for the air to enter) and they allowed smoking. Most times you couldn't find a free table away from smoke.
11. I've chosen the option (check box) to have a child bed when made the reservation, but they didn't provide it.
- Motoretka (4/5): Great location, nice staff but too expensive for what it is - Location and beach of Gradina are great, rooms are spacious. The hotel is worse every year, however prices are at least 30% up. Too expensive for what it is, too noisy, too many jumping kids at the pool so impossible to have a rest there, breakfast made with the cheapest products on the market (pancakes from last year were missing!) . If you want to have a rest, don't go there. We reserved a room with sea-view however we were given a room at the 2nd floor with a small balcony occupied by an enormous air conditioner overlooking the trees and a little square of the sea . It was a joke and such room should be cheaper! There was a nice guy at the reception who gave us another room on the 2nd day. Will not repeat our stay as too many small things that didn't work out.
- Yuliy (8/5): Very good - Limited parking lots.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Darina (7/5): it was good - I liked the location, the room was specious there wasn’t a ramp , we had a pram had to carry it up the stairs
- Zhaneta (9/5): Superb -
- Bogdan (7/5): good VALUE for the Price we payed - amplasamentul curățenia
- Gospodinka (6/5): there is a way to improve much more the service - the location is great! the cleaning of the rooms was poor. we got the service on the 4th day of our stay.
- Silviya (1/5): The Worst Hotel Stay! - It is close to the beach! The housekeepers stole £140 from my wallet whilst we were at the beach. The front desk manager investigated the incident and gave us the money back. However, the whole thing was extremely stressful for me and my family. I have never been robbed before in any other hotel in Bulgaria or abroad. I am grateful that the manager returned the money but this should have never happened in the first place.
The parking is a nightmare. It is impossible to park inside the premises of the hotel. The rooms are basic-there is nothing inside except your bed and you live out of your suitcase. The restaurant is crowded because it is too small for this big apartment complex. The food was cold for breakfast and dinner. Choice of food is also quite limited. You have to wait for available dinner table and for clean silverware. The swimming pool is dirty. Animation is almost non-existent.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I will never return. My holiday was a nightmare thanks to Hacienda Beach Apartments.
- Ivanka (7/5): Good - Location, new refurnished room, good size of the room The breakfast, the instalation of the air conditioner on the tarrace (too loud and the condensation made a little "lake" on the tarrace); the swimming pool was not very clean.
- Kristian (1/5): This is not all inclusive! - It seems, they are not aware, what all inclusive is... And what must be included in it..
- Silviya (5/5): Not to my liking. Would not come back - Location is good. Everything else is below average Quality of the food and drinks is very poor. Animation is average . Boiler broke down
- Кристина (3/5): Will never visit this place again! - It wasn’t a good stay at all. There was a huge discrepancy between the high rates given and the actual situation. Sea view room - we were facing the beach, however piles of garbage were places just outside the windows. The smell at 30 grad was horrible.
The air conditioning was disaster - split system- one of the items didn’t work at all. The ‘technician’ that came said the issue was outside of his competence. The other AC was acting oddly and was not able to maintain the desired temperature. We had two apartments and the AC in the second one was the same.
Cleaning - the staff was only sweeping the sand from the floor. For six days no towels, nor sheets were changed. I had to clean the siphon in the bathroom - it was full of dirt and the smell in the bathroom was disgusting.
