• Susanne (10/5): Fijne overnachting, heerlijk bed en zeer smakelijk ontbijt - Geweldige bed, echt heerlijk geslapen. Kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. En een heel uitgebreid en smakelijk ontbijt in de ochtend. Is een prachtige omgeving!
• neil (10/5): - A beautiful home that we were welcomed into, Alexandra was so friendly and welcoming and did so much to make our stay so comfortable. The room was spotless.. We arrived late and Alexandra prepared a delicious 3 course meal. Breakfast was fabulous again Alexandra had thought of everything. The village is stunning. We did not have enough time to stay another night

Alles frisch und teilweise hausgemacht +ruhige und sichere Lage (mit großen Bäumen voller Vogelgezwitscher) +gut gepflegte Außenanlagen, ideal zum Relaxen +abgeschlossener privater Parkplatz mit Lademöglichkeit für E-Auto zu fairem kWh-Preis -Vorsicht: Bodenwelle / Absatz bei der Ein-/Ausfahrt auf das Grundstück kann zu Schleifen / Kontakt mit dem Bodenblech des Autos führen, wenn man keinen SUV hat (war bei uns bei der Ausfahrt der Fall) -Schlechte Schallisolierung der Zimmer-Seitenwand zum Privatbereich des Gastgebers -kein Kleiderschrank, nur Stange mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Ok für eine Nacht.
• Madeline (9/5): Delightful stay - An excellent stay in a peaceful village. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in an annexe with its own entrance. Though the access to the property was quite narrow, there was plenty of room to park. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are so chic and clean and the place is the tranquility paradise. Private parking is also a huge benefit as I imagine mostly car travellers will need a night in the area.

Le cadre est vraiment très joli, la chambre charmante et la literie excellente. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, j'y ai passé une moment très agréable Je n'ai rien de négatif qui me vienne a l'esprit...peut être le chauffage de la salle de bain un peu juste mais c'est vraiment pas quelque chose de très gênant mais si il y a quelque chose qui pourra être améliorer alors ce serait ça 😊

• Vicky (10/5): Stunning hotel in a pretty little town, cosy and comfortable, with lovely hosts. - We loved everything about this place and we'll try to come back to enjoy it in the summer as well! The room was warm, cosy, very comfortable and very quiet, with a lovely view overlooking the garden. The beds were so comfortable that we overslept and almost missed breakfast, but luckily we managed to get there because it was fabulous, great food served in a beautiful room. Alexandra was warm and welcoming throughout our stay - waited up for us when we arrived late due to the snow, and was a very gracious and discreet host the entire time. Such a great find! Looking forward to going back. There was nothing we didn't like, it was all lovely.

Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeberin für das ausgezeichnete Frühstück, wirklich top. Eine Unterkunft, die wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen! Nichts. Es war alles perfekt, wir haben absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

• Arne (9/5): Elegante Übernachtungsmöglichkeit - Schönes, helles Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten. Parken auf dem Grundstück. Französisches Frühstück im Herrenhaus zusammen mit anderen Gästen. Den sonst üblichen persönlichen, netten Kontakt zwischen Inhabern und Gästen haben wir nicht wahrgenommen. Man befindet sich in the middle of nowhere und es ist schwierig ein Restaurant für ein Abendessen in der Nähe zu finden, was aber nichts mit der Qualität der Unterkunft zu tun hat.

• Sabine (10/5): Ein unvergesslich schöner Aufenthalt. - Wir verbrachten Anfang Oktober zwei Nächte im Manoir de L’Echauguette. Die Gästezimmer im Chambre d‘hotes befinden sich in einem absolut traumhaften Gutshaus in Laignes. Wir wurden von den neuen Gastgebern Alexandra und Benoît sehr herzlich empfangen und durften drei wunderschöne Tage geniessen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet, und die Betten waren sehr bequem. Da es abends und Nachts bereits etwas kalt war, waren wir froh um die Heizradiatoren im Zimmer. Das von Alexandral zubereitete Frühstücksbuffet mit Cheminée-Feuer war deliziös. Auch bot uns Alexandra für den zweiten Abend an, uns zu bekochen, dies zu einem sehr fairen Preis, da in der nahen Umgebung nicht viele Restaurants geöffnet waren am Mittwochabend. Wir nahmen das Angebot dankend an und haben das Essen sehr genossen. Wir werden diese Unterkunft auf alle Fälle unseren Freunden weiterempfehlen. -

• Jean-Christophe (10/5): Magnifique propriété au milieu du village - Le lieu est magnifique. Rangement pour les vélos. Hôtes très aimables. Rien. On a dîné avec nos vivres, étant à vélo et le restaurant du village étant fermé le lundi. Un lieu pour la vaisselle serait un plus.

Accommodated our request for an early breakfast as we needed to be in Calais by lunchtime. Very cute room and the most wonderful bed! The village was very quiet, no-one about and no restaurants open to eat in - and it was a Friday night. It felt a bit ‘dead’ . Hosts did offer us a meal though but thankfully we had bought a bit of food with us. Also, the church bells chimed every 15 minutes so we had little sleep - which didn’t help the early rise!

• Toine (10/5): - Gastvrijheid, charme en sfeer. Charmante gastvrouw, zeer verzorgde kamer, mooie grote tuin, hartelijke ontvangst, heerlijk ontbijt met streekproducten en fruit uit eigen tuin.
• Rene Geerlings (9/5): prachtig historisch pand met fris ingerichte kamer - De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en flexibel. Het is een heel nieuwe B&B in een prachtig statig historisch complex. Je rook de verf nog en er waren begrijpelijkerwijs nog wat zaken onaf. Geen douche gordijn. Geen plek om kleding op te hangen, wat missende afwerkingsplinten etc. maar ik ga er vanuit dat die er nog wel komen. Heel fris en goed ingericht. De kamer waar wij verbleven was wel wat klein en laag ( ik ben 1,92 m lang ) maar in principe is alles aanwezig. We mochten van het terras gebruik maken. Helaas moesten we door omstandigheden midden in de nacht vertrekken anders hadden we nog van het ontbijt gebruik kunnen maken, de eigenaresse bood aan om ons ontbijt om 5 uur al klaar te maken terwijl het standaard tussen 7 en 10 geserveerd wordt, heel gastvrij, maar van die service hebben we vanwege haast geen gebruik gemaakt. goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en heel schoon. Voor lange mensen kan de kamer die wij hadden klein en benauwd aanvoelen. Ook was er geen airco aanwezig terwijl het overdag 38 graden was en lag er een dekbed op het bed. Ik zou aanraden om in de zomer alleen een laken op het bed te leggen en op z'n mist een ventilator aan te schaffen.
