• Hannelie (1/5): Worst stay ever - Location was good. I found the blurb misleading. The room as NO TV inside, only in the lounge area to be shared with other guests. The bed had the most awful mattress, I could feel the springs poke through. The bed is extremely low, lower than knee hight. The bedding did not smell fresh and did not properly fit the mattress. Mattress protector is stained. Wardrobe dirty.

They are sharing with other guests so seems not maintain and monitor by the host. 2. The dining table is rather small for four people and outdoor furniture catered for two only. 3. The bed is a bit low. OK for us but may not be good for some people. 4. The body wash in the bathroom was running out already before our check in. Reported to the host and they said the cleaner will refill in the second day but didn’t. 5. Dusty exhaust fan at bathroom, seems not cleaned since day one.

Er zijn 3 buitendeuren maar van buitenaf is niet te zien dat er achter iedere deur 6 slaapkamers toegankelijk zijn. Niemand aanwezig om je even te helpen.

• Blake (1/5): Paid for a room with lock, no key for lock and a pathetic response when asked about the missing key. - The house was warm. Whole reason i booked this place was so I could lock my room and go do what I had to without worry. Instead when I get there I find that the previous guest had not returned the key and that no spares were offered. When I emailed about it I got no response til I sent a follow up email stating that I wanted it confirmed that I had not received a key. There were cigarette butts all along the outside of the unit I stayed in which I thought was absolutely disgusting. The other guests where so rude and let there child cause soo much noise with the wooden chairs and drag them all over the floor. Ultimately no I did not enjoy my stay and I will not be coming back.

• Scott (7/5): Clean and comfortable but not as expected - Comfortable and clean Not what I was expecting at all, it says home stay when it should state home share. Shows a bedroom with en-suite, kitchen and sitting room with television but does not clearly say (or perhaps I didn't read it correctly) that these facilities are shared with another 2 rooms in a small property. I won't be staying again, had I known I'd have spent a few extra dollars for a hotel in the centre of town or at least closer to civilisation. Not sure if it was a queen mattress on a king-size base or a double on a queen, either way not great.

The walls between the rooms could be really thin, as I could hear clearly someone talking in the next room even during sleeping time later at night. Check out time at 10:00am is a bit too early, I hopped it was around 11:00am or 12:00 noon.

• Krieger (8/5): Very good - Very quiet neighborhood. Good price, had everything you'd need, check in was easy, close to bus stops and rest of town without being noisey and conjested with people. All the amenities worked. House shared with other guests, but that's to be expected and I got lucky with booking.

• Maggie (8/5): Quiet spotless accommodation in handy location for airport and restaurants. - we had our own breakfast. we were surprised that we were needing to share the kitchen facilities with other guests, although we did not even see them. Very quiet spot, and the cleaner does an excellent job, the place was spotless. No problems with other guests, so all in all we had a comfy stay. Ample parking too, with use of garage if needed. I wish the very best for the owners of this new accommodation venue. David has been extremely helpful. We thought we had booked the place for ourselves. We struggled to find our way out of the area, but when we got used to where we were we were only minutes to all the restaurants in Victoria Park, and also is handy to airport.
