• Alexandria (10/5): Hidden Gem in the Heart of Columbus <3 - I think this is a hidden gem that I will absolutely be returning to as quickly as possible when I need to stay in Columbus next. Beautiful home, lots to do in the vicinity, and really easy access to it all. I would be happy to return to stay with Sergio in the future, and honestly, I hope we get to! Not a single thing I would change. This was truly a wonderful stay, and Sergio was absolutely lovely.

• Lisa (1/5): Misleading advertisement and non existent customer service when it comes to speaking with management who offers refunds! - Jungle House German Village – A Completely Misleading and Disappointing Stay The listing for this property is completely inaccurate. You do not get the entire house—instead, it’s a small upstairs unit accessed only by a steep outdoor staircase, more like a fire escape than a proper entry. Once inside, the so-called “second bedroom” is actually an attic loft up another narrow, dangerously steep staircase, making it totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility concerns. Calling this setup “accessible” or even remotely convenient is absurd. To make matters worse, our stay coincided with a large windstorm in Columbus, which knocked out power across the area before our arrival and for the entire weekend. With temperatures dropping and no electricity or heat, the unit was completely unusable. While the booking company was quick to respond initially, all they did was confirm what we already knew—that the power was out—without offering any guidance, flexibility, or assistance. When we made the reasonable decision to leave and requested a refund, our calls and messages were ignored. Instead, we received automated texts cheerfully thanking us for “keeping the place spotless,” even though we spent barely 30 minutes there. The lack of accountability and empathy from both the host and the booking agency was astounding. Bottom line: Do not be deceived by the photos or description. This is not an entire house, it is not easily accessible, and the management clearly does not care about guest experience or fair treatment. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value honesty, comfort, or basic customer service. See above! Will not refund my stay! Will not answer my phone calls!

• Brillhart (8/5): Get to experience what it’s like to live in German Village. - The property was right by all of my favorite parts of German Village. The view from our place was pretty and so was the rental. It was clean and well decorated. We had no issues with the property but were not provided the code to access our booking. We had to text then call the owners for it. They answered quickly but still something I thought should’ve been sent prior to our arrival.

Zodra niet met klanten om. - de moeite die de eigenaar in gestopt hebben om het gezellig te maken het kostte veel moeite om binnen te komen. De codes kwamen niet. Verder was het schandalig dat we $ 25 boete moesten betalen omdat we een kwartiertje te laat hebben uitgecheckt. terwijl we wisten dat de kamer een dag daarna niet bezet was. Echt schandalig. En ook nog contact gehad met de eigenaar die mening te moeten melden dat er niks aan te doen was.
