Within 30 minutes the city center can be reached. - The water is mainly freezing cold. If you prefer cold showers.. this is the place to go. - No mirrors in the bathrooms. - No possibility to adapt the temperatur in your room. - No hair dryer available. - Poor cleanliless in the room and bathrooms. --> I know, for the price you cannot expect much. Even though, I cannot recommend the place.

• ALEXANDER (10/5): Very enjoyable and overall pleasant experience! - Very quiet, secluded and with clean sheets (most importantly). Couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone who needs a place to stay in London that is affordable but isn't too far from the centre!

• Leigh (4/5): Would not come again feels unsafe and Unhygienic - There was a bed and fridge I would not recommend this hotel. From the start, there were major issues. The bathroom light didn’t work, there was no toilet paper provided, and the lock on the doors felt very unsafe and flimsy. The room itself was dirty with visible stains, and overall hygiene was poor. The owner was very difficult to contact and even asked for a picture of my passport, which seemed unusual and concerning. There were random workers in the building making loud noise, none of whom spoke English or offered any assistance. There was no clear reception or check-in area, and the key we were given to enter the hotel didn’t work. We had to rely on another guest to let us inside. On top of that, the shower took nearly 10 minutes to heat up, which was very inconvenient. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and unsafe. I would strongly advise against staying here.

When I picked up the phone I noticed that there was already a hole and some dirt there. I took a picture as proof. I was late for work so I could not contact them. But after check-out I was suddenly wrongly blamed for this damage and demanded a fine. When I tried to explain the matter, they ignored me and ignored me. Pokój wyglądał na czysty, zaś zapach był bardzo nieprzyjemny, dziurawa pościel, dziura w podłodze, cienkie ściany przez które słychać było nawet szepty sąsiada, stan łazienki dramatyczny, wszędzie pleśń i grzyb, obdarte drzwi - stan w którym nie dał psów korzystać z prysznica, kuchnia brudna, pęknięte kafle na podłodze, pleśń na fugach i rdza na grzejnikach i ścianach. Ogólnie brudno i w kiepskim stanie całą nieruchomość.

• Dave (7/5): Basic, but clean, just what I needed - Clean quiet comfortable room, bedside lamp, a window that opens, good to have a kitchen even if I only used the kettle. The owner communicated quickly and clearly. There was a TV and fridge in the room although I didn't use either. Clear check in instructions and information about the property. I've never had to send photo ID before, but I'm since told that this is now more common. I wasn't keen on sending such information by WhatsApp which isn't always that secure. The Booking.com information says they will never ask for payment details or other information to be sent by WhatsApp so when I first saw the message about ID I wondered if it was legitimate. After several messages with the owner it was fine. No seats in the room.

Posteľ 140 na dvoch ľudí, bolel nás chrbat z pružinového matraca. Kúpeľňa špinavá a malinká .V sprche pleseň, umývadlo špinavé. Podlaha plesnivá. Jediný kôš bol v kúpeľni. Do kuchýne som radšej ani nešla. Steny tenké takže všetko je počuť.

• keswani (4/5): Good value if you are not going to stay at home the whole day. Bed and Bathroom. Nothing else. - The location of the property and the friendliness of the contact person was very good. 5 minutes away from a main line station. And although I could not meet the contact in person, he always answered promptly via WhatsApp. Plus, was very friendly (called me sir and so on). The state of the bathroom and the heating facilities. The heater was not working, but since I was staying there for a short time, I was not bothered to give the complaint further. On the other hand, the location description did not include WiFi support, although there was Wifi available. So I gave the heater a pass. What bothered me was the discipline of the other residents since the bathroom was shared (It was always wet, including the floor). And the bathroom in general, including the lock and moss on the wall. It could have been cleaner.

When we arrived it was dirty, no toilet paper was provided and the shared kitchen didn’t offer much (nearly nothing available). The room had weird smell but felt mostly clean otherwise. We also couldn’t get in at first, as there was no key in the box outside.
• Marcin (1/5): Absolutely Disgusting – Do Not Stay Here - Nothing! DO NOT STAY HERE This place was unbelievably dirty. There was old, mouldy food left inside the cupboards and fridge — clearly untouched for months. The fridge had even been turned off with the food still inside, creating an unbearable smell. The entire room was filthy: the floors, the walls, every cupboard and shelf covered not just in dust but in thick grime. The room was freezing and the stench made it almost impossible to stay in there. It honestly felt unfit for anyone to live in. The shared areas, including the bathroom and kitchen, were completely unusable. They were never cleaned and were in a disgusting state. I was told I would get a shelf in the kitchen, but there wasn’t a single free or clean space — everything was filled with old food or random items. The whole place smells awful, and it’s extremely loud. People show no respect for others. Even the bed smelled so bad that sleeping there felt impossible; it didn’t seem like the mattress or covers had ever been cleaned. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

• Paul (2/5): Truly awfull. - The location and coded locking system on front door. The hallway and stairs were very untidy, the bathroom was an absolute mess so didn’t use it. The room itself stink of smelly feet and the duvet cover on bed was dirty , I had to buy a linen sheet to sleep in , I just used room to sleep in , got out early and got back late evening, I only chose this place to stay in because of booking . Coms reviews, it was an awfull experience at the staycation.

• Malyn (4/5): We booked Mile-End Staycation, but we were transferred to Desire Residence due to maintenance. We were informed less tha - We like the staff and the private bathroom and toilet that they offered us. Far from the city. The bed sheets, pillows, and blanket smelled bad, not newly washed. The faucet and water heater were both rusty and not well cleaned.
• Rafael (3/5): No recomendado - Nada La sabanas no estaban limpias. Había un agujero en el piso del cuarto que daba a la cocina lo que hizo que el cuarto estuviera apestoso a comida todo el tiempo. El anfitrión nunca se preocupó de contactarme previo a la llegada ni posteriormente tampoco. El baño compartido con otros huéspedes no estaba limpio.
