• Jia Zhen (9/5): - 離地鐵5號線出口非常近，旁邊就是布帳馬車一條街，越晚越熱鬧，很多當地人和外國人都會聚在一起喝酒聊天。 Hostel位在巷口附近，因為我們這次是兩個女生出來旅遊，在晚上的時候還是多少要有警戒心。 接待人員很親切，會協助我們check-in，也會提醒我們注意事項。晚上有時候會有工作人員顧顧櫃檯，讓人比較安心。 我們覺得床鋪很好睡，對外的隔音不錯，但走廊和門口的聲音多少還是會聽到。浴室雖小，但對我們來說這個空間在可接受範圍內。 工作人員的回覆都算快，以地段和cp值來說算很不錯。 整體是很棒的體驗😊

• Andrea (10/5): - Estuvimos una semana en el Hotel, y la experiencia fue muy buena. La atención como las instalaciones estaban en muy buen estado. Tienen noodles y café constantemente, como también servicio de lavandería en correcto estado. Repetiriamos :) Nada que añadir.

You have been awesome :) - Fantastic location, little bit nosey but only a little bit made up for it with good transport links to airport and walking distance to many different things and food! Really great use of facilities and free ramen in downstairs kitchen! They were kind enough to let us leave our luggage there even though we already checked out at 11am. Staff were great and very quick to check in, clear instructions on arrival as well Generally for two people with 2 large suitcases it was a little difficult to move around and was often stepping over our things

• Viana (9/5): Highly recommend! - I stayed for one night in the dorms! They have excellent communication ahead of arrival, and the staff was incredibly kind with check-in/out and luggage storage. The facilities (room, shared bathrooms, common areas) were all exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfy and had everything you could need (outlet, light, curtain, toothbrush, etc). The basement also has a kitchen with free ramen!! and water/coffee as well as a getting ready area with hairdryers. Also a prime location for touristy things in Seoul! The rooms are a bit small so there is not space to store much luggage in the room, especially for the top bunks. But they do have lockers on the ground floor to store your things! and I saw people leave luggage in the halls for easier access to your things. Would keep this in mind if you have a longer stay in Seoul.

• Francesca (7/5): - Posizione ottima con staff gentile. Nella struttura puoi usufruire di the e caffè e noodles gratuitamente. La camera per due persone è veramente troppo piccola. Quando si fa la doccia, tutta l’acqua passa anche nella parte dove c’è il wc. Di conseguenza, essendo due ambienti separati, ti ritrovi sempre a bagnare le ciabatte e la stanza. La finestra è piccola e non permette di arieggiare bene la stanza vista la numerosa presenza di ristoranti lì sotto.

• AKANE (10/5): 快適 - 地下鉄駅、コンビニが近い徒歩３分くらいでした。 行きは仁川からバスで、バス停も歩いて10分以内でした。 外は居酒屋が多めだったけど、部屋の中は静かでした。 無料ラーメンも初めての味を試せて楽しかった。 ウォーターサーバーが沢山あるので便利。 隣の部屋の音は結構聞こえた。 4階から5階までは急な階段だった。スタッフが荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくれたので問題なく過ごせた。

La personne à l’accueil très chaleureuse, elle a répondu à toutes mes questions même celles concernant la culture ! La propreté est bonne R.A.S. C’était ma première fois dans un dortoir et je dois dire que quand on est 8, on se sent vraiment à l’étroit…

• Tse (10/5): A good place to stay for first timers - As advertised. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Good water pressure for showers. Staff were hard working and responsive to our questions. There was a place to fill up your water and it was walking distance from all the cool shops and restaurants. The stairs are quite steep if your room is on the top level but there is an elevator for most of the floors.

The room is cozy and with good facilities. Love the hair dryer, toilet and smart TV The facilities are amazing. With free noodle. Laundry services, baggage storage before and after check in. • Aleksander (8/5): Perfect for younger guests. - Property is in a lively, party district, near historical village and a little walk from other historical sights. Well placed we hen t comes to commuting around the city with access to metro and bus stations. Rooms are ok, little small but well designed. It might be a little uncomfortable at night, as it’s party district surrounded by clubs, but it’s rather unproblematic.

• Michelle (10/5): - The stay was very comfortable and positive, the front desk staff and the cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful. When I arrived it was raining a lot and the girl at the front desk immediately gave me a towel and lent me an umbrella which was very sweet. There is a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, free coffee, filtered water and several kinds of free instant ramen which was a very nice addition! There were also facilities for washing and drying clothes. I booked a female only room and was pleasantly surprised that the whole floor was female only, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was a bit too firm to my taste, but nothing crazy that made it uncomfortable to sleep. The bathrooms and rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was very good with the metro station right outside and restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets close by.

• Maria Eduarda (10/5): Perfect stay and kind people - I had a great stay at Half Rest Hostel Jongno Insa. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Seoul, making it super easy to explore the city on foot and access public transportation. The place is very clean and comfortable. The bedding was fresh and cozy, and everything felt well organized. They also offer many useful amenities like toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, ramen, water, coffee, and even small thoughtful extras that make a big difference when you’re traveling. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. They really made us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers and would happily stay here again. 😊 Nothing
• Makia (10/5): Great for solo traveler and close to subway. - This hotel was perfect for a one night stay for a solo traveler (I had a private room and bathroom and only needed it for one night). The subway is around the corner and there are tons of places to eat. Also close to sites and Insadong. The room was extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable. I found the stay extremely helpful. One thing, the private room is a top floor that requires you to take the elevator and then walk up a short flight of stairs. It worked for me, but might not for someone with physical limitations.
• ちっかちか (6/5): とにかく近隣の音がうるさかった - キレイだった。場所は便利で、近くに美味しそうなお店がたくさんある。タプコル公園は酔っ払いがたくさんなので危険ではないけど雰囲気は悪いかも？ 部屋は2階だった、だからなのか？全ての部屋でそうなのか？わからないけど夜中の2時まで近くの店の音楽の重低音がドンドンズドズドと響きます、朝はそれが10時から開始します。これは最低でした。他は良かったのに残念。

• Bikram Shinpei (10/5): Excellent for the price! - Responsive staffs: They kept us updated frequently on checkin procedures even when we arrived at the facility quite late in the evening. Amenities: Ample amenities like shampoo, body soap and toothbrush set. Free cup noodles and hot drinks in the kitchen. Great facility for the price. Only thing I would say was inconvenient is that the shower and toilet is in the same space and quite small. But I think it's reasonable for the price.

• CHUN-CING (10/5): 讓人安心的住宿 - 住宿CP值很高，回復速度快，因為這次看錯巴士時間，機場抵達時必須要搭乘夜間巴士，不過也有解決方案搭N6002到四季酒店大概走20幾分鐘就到了。超過營業時間也完全不用擔心，可以用機器自助報到，讓你很放心。然後走到哪都香香的，也很乾淨，雖然小了點不過也反映在價格上面了，然後地下室還有滿滿的拉麵可以吃
• Holly (2/5): Room was like being in a hospital! - the location is probably the best part of staying here, it's super local to pretty much everything with a subway station on the doorstep. Lots of restaurants and the hanok village nearby is lovely. First impressions when arriving it felt like I was walking into a hospital room. The room is full of safety gadgets in case of an emergency, which is handy of course but really unsightly. The bathroom system is useless and not private. The sliding doors are annoying and the shower being connected to the sink meant that sometimes I would accidentally wet myself with the shower when trying to use the sink. The cleaners never cleaned a thing despite us asking them to make up the room. So for 9 nights we didn't have our room cleaned at all. They almost held us hostage when they saw we had accidentally stained the bedding with strawberries and forced us to pay 30,000 won for that. The staff on the reception were friendly on the surface but patronising when we asked if we can keep our suitcase - the answer was "no it's not our policy". The hotel really lives up to its name of "halfrest" as I definitely did not sleep a full night the whole time I was there. Mostly because of extremely thin walls and the ridiculous illuminated switch that kept the room lit in an ominous blue shade all night. It felt very unnatural and hospital like. Really disappointed our first experience in Seoul and we spent 9 long nights in this bad place. The best thing about it was the basement kitchen area which we appreciated. But it was kind of depressing too.

• Константин (9/5): - Комната маленькая, но чистая и уютная. Был минихолодильник, фен и принадлежности для душа. На нулевом этаже стриральная (стирка+сушка обходились где-то 4000 вон) и гладильная комната, обеденная комната с бесплатными раменами, чаем и кофе. Хорошее расположение (три ветки метро и автобусы), рядом в узких улочках много сувенирных и прочих магазинчиков, милых кафэшек (понравилось больше, чем на мёндоне), в пешей доступности дворцы и рынок. Район больше старый колоритный, чем новый модный, и в этом его прелесть. Персонал разрешает оставлять чемоданы у администрации, если у вас ранний прилет или поздний вылет. Мы жили на последнем 5 этаже, но лифт ходит только до 4, а дальше по крутым лесенкам наверх (с вещами иногда было не очень удобно) В нашей комнате было окно (слышала, не на всех этажах в комнатах они есть, но это лучше уточняйте у самого отеля). Тк комнату прям хорошо топили, было достаточно душновато, и окно мы почти всегда держали открытым.

It was almost like a hotel which was surprisingly nice. Staff were super friendly and understanding as well! Personal things like the lack of moisturizer in the room. I was on the 5th floor which also had no water dispenser which meant I had to down the steep stairs every time I wanted a bottle.

• Rochelle (10/5): Wonderful hostel. Ideal for solo female travelers who wish to experience local vibes. - Halfrest is tucked away in Jongno 3-ga, a lively neighborhood where one can find pojangmacha (tent bar), local restaurants, etc. It is also within walking distance to Insadong. It's a great hostel for solo female travelers. It provides great amenities, such as toiletries, bath towel, ramyeon, tea, etc. The only very minor thing I didn't like is the lack of a room window. But this is definitely negligible.
