Guest Reviews
- Guest (8/5): Useful Stopover close to Chester centre - Parking available on site. Nice big TV. Good location with 5 minutes walk to facilities. It was perfectly adequate for our purposes but would benefit from some attention.
- Jonathan Lamont Parker (8/5): - Nice size for the price. Green space / ponds behind the property were a welcome surprise, also very easy access to major paved cycling trails. Bring your bike to enjoy the trails and get into town. Trail to nice little convenience story - 5 min walk. A bit far out of town but when we didn't want to walk from downtown it was only 6 pounds for an Uber. A modest place, kind of dated. A bit far out of town.

- Julian N (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable, really good value for money. Kitchen tap was slow on hot water setting.
- Demelza (7/5): - Quiet location, easy to find, close to Chester Zoo. Bedrooms comfortable. Heating and Hot water easy to use. Kitchen very limited. No knives, scissors, grater, t towels, and no cupboards to unpack food. Limited crockery/cooking utensils/cookware. Would have struggled to self-cater for any length of time. But it served a purpose for us. Others also mentioned no microwave.
Light in bathroom was dodgy and no light on landing.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The property was clean and spacious and everything you needed The only one thing that I would recommend that you give extra towel For hair and drying heads
- jackie (4/5): Served its purpose, mainly as it is close to my daughter's house - Location. Heating system easy to use & efficient. Quiet area. Comfortable bed & choice of pillows Noise at night in bedroom, possibly from large rodents in attic. Shower leaked. No plug for bathroom handbasin. Electric supply poor - unable to charge my iPad or iPhone. Poor kitchen equipment - no microwave oven. Crockery & cutlery poor quality & sparse eg plastic cereal bowls. Whole house seems tired & in need of simple basic improvements which would make an enormous difference
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent place, had obviously had some dodgy visitors before us who left the place in a bit of a state, but the owner d - Ideal for visiting the city, great location Nothing
- filipe (10/5): -
- Emma (6/5): Lovely stay and hosts - Clean and close to the centre Bathroom lock !
- Small (7/5): - Comfortable beds, dining and seating, parking and garden. Central location perfect for our trip.
Good timely communication with host. Shame there wasn't a microwave otherwise great.
- Lynsey (8/5): I enjoyed my stay - Clean, very comfy bed, spacious and great value for money There were no cutting knifes for bread or cheese.
The parking wasn’t that easy.
A light in the back garden would be helpful
- Ana (6/5): Perfect close location to City Centre - Perfect location to City centre. Free allocated parking. Private enclosed garden for dog. Simple but comfortable

- Antje (8/5): -
- Steven (7/5): Not a bad, little house 👍 - Great location for city centre and other attractions
Good value, a whole house for less than most hotel rooms House was a bit rough round the edges and dated, needs bringing up to modern standards, the sofa needs replacing, it was so uncomfortable that my back is now really sore
- john (9/5): - There was a park/ green space at the end of the next street, which was great to see walk the dog
- Olinda (9/5): Schöne ruhige Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. - Schöne ruhige Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht.
- Libby (10/5): Excellent position and a well equipped house - Clean, apart from some tissues under the bed!! Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was excellent, very easy walk into the town.

- ana (10/5): Excelente estadía - Muy bien equipada. Muy cómoda. Nos solucionaron una ampolleta que estaba quemada enseguida. Muy buena comunicación Nada
- Katie (3/5): - Wasn’t particularly clean, serious lack of pillows, sofa smelt awful
- Walsh (8/5): -
- Leyla (9/5): -
- Rachel (8/5): Very enjoyable and stress free. - Conveniently located. Quiet neighbourhood. Very helpful owner. The cleaners need to check behind the radiators.
- Husnin (8/5): - The house is very clean and comfortable, worth the money and stay. Nothing.
- daz (8/5): Great night out in chester - Originally being from Chester, it was good to spend a night back in the town
The nightlife is absolutely amazing, catering for everyone The stay was to short

- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- John (7/5): Good - Everything you need. 10 min walk to Chester centre Needs curtains to block sun from waking you up at 4am.
- Emma (8/5): Very good - Good location and well equipped kitchen
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional - Close to aquarium and zoo.
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Mukund (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (8/5): Close to city centre but quiet. - Quiet location but still close to centre. Comfortable bed. Small things - tap water pressure low, no mirror over bathroom sink, no sharp carving knife, no microwave, used toaster and fire alarm kept going off, crack in bathroom sink.
- Emily (6/5): Good location, facilities need improvements. - The location was great. The house was mostly clean. Communicated with host due to the hairdryer not being in house, they resolved this problem straight away and ordered a new one. There weren’t enough cutlery cups, glasses and plates. There were no sharp knife’s for cooking. The hot water was not very good downstairs. The bathroom door did not shut properly and the light did not work properly. The smoke alarm was too sensitive and would go off when using the toaster. Kitchen could have done with a microwave. There was no wardrobe or hanging rack in one bedroom. Not enough setting on the couch for 4 people. No light shade in bedroom light and the curtains let all the light in.
- Natasha (8/5): Very comfortable, only a short distance from city centre, cost around £5 by Uber. - N/A The only real issue was the smoke alarm in the kitchen. It was so sensitive, I couldn't even fry an egg without it going off continually. Had to have the back door & kitchen window open to try and get some air through to stop it. Drove me crazy in the end
- Debbie (6/5): Comfortable stay short walk to Town Centre. - Short walk to town centre.
Parking space. Black blinds in living room weren't very nice. Didnt look great on arrival. Curtains would have been better.
No headboards on the beds.
More bedside tables.
Mirror in bedroom was above the bed so you had to stand on the bed to look in mirror to do hair.
No drainer on kitchen sink so bench was soaking when you washed the dishes.
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Clean comfortable house. Great value for money.
- Roland (9/5): Superb -
