• Paul (10/5): I’d come back for sure. - The villa itself was super spacious and clean, with that classic Bali vibe but still really comfortable. Waking up to all the greenery and just hearing nature instead of traffic… different kind of peace. What I liked most was how chill everything felt. No pressure to do anything, no noise, just your own space. I had moments where I was literally doing nothing and it didn’t feel like a waste of time. Staff were really kind and helpful too, but not in an overwhelming way. just the right balance.

• Roland (10/5): Traumhafte Bungalowanlage mitten im Grünen - Wow! Was ein traumhaftes Fleckchen Erde! Super schöne Bungalows, sehr privat mit eigenem kleinen Pool und Outdoor Badewanne. Super ruhig gelegen und trotzdem ist man in einer Viertelstunde im quirligen Ubud. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt über den Silence Day sehr genossen und können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen! Alles war top!

Мы провели на вилле прекрасное время. Отель сложно найти- указателей нет, таксисты до него не доезжают. До виллы долгая дорога с крутой лестницей. Очень невнимательный и неклиентоориентированный персонал. Часто никого нет на ресепшен. Номер подготовили с задержкой на 1 час. Взаимопонимания с ними я не нашла. Есть проблемы с горячей водой - ее постоянно выбивает и надо звонить на ресепшен чтоб ее починили. Чинят быстро но у нас это было 4 раза и один раз ночью когда я уже звонить не стала а помылась под хородной водой.

Es más al final de mis días en Bali volví a alojarme ahí de tanto que me gustó. Volvería sin dudas La habitación con red nada que ver a las otras está toda descubierta y solo pase una noche igual lindas vistas a las vacas y al entorno natural.

• Rachael (9/5): Picturesque, comfortable stay! - Staying at The Pulu Villas by Genuine Host was an absolute dream. Our villa was stunning, with a super comfy bed and an incredible view of the rice fields that left us speechless. We loved having our own plunge pool and outdoor tub! Pure relaxation in paradise. The villa is about a 20-minute bike ride to Ubud centre, making it convenient to explore while still feeling tucked away in tranquility. One morning, we treated ourselves to a floating breakfast, which was a memorable and indulgent experience. Yes, there are some bugs. I spotted tiny ants in the room — but this is inevitable in a tropical setting. The villa provides a mosquito repellant plug, and we didn’t encounter any mosquitoes during our stay. Bottled water is supplied daily for drinking and brushing teeth, which was very convenient. There’s a fantastic cafe less than 2 minutes’ walk from the villa called Yeh Pulu Cafe, and the food and drinks are exceptional, we enjoyed it multiple times during our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly throughout our stay. Tip: there are a lot of stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, just message the staff via WhatsApp upon arrival, they’re happy to help carry it to your room or the lobby. The Pulu Villas offer a perfect combination of luxury, serenity, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling completely relaxed and cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A bit late for me the breakfast timing, but should be ok for most guests. During the day, some farmers were doing their job, so a lil bit uncomfortable to keep the door open 😅

The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. They were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. This villa perfectly combines comfort, nature, and authentic Balinese hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We did the pool with flowers and it looked so majestic, the place gives you all the peace and relaxation you could possibly get. They even did our last breakfast earlier than the kitchen was supposed to open just so we could eat bright and early and leave. Truly unforgettable experience

Abbiamo usufruito più volte del servizio massaggi in camera e della lavanderia, entrambi ottimi. Consigliamo anche il ristorante Yeh Pulu all’interno del complesso: cibo eccellente e personale gentilissimo. Nulla da ridire, è stato tutto perfetto.

• Berta (9/5): Very nice, I’ll be back! - Excellent, I really enjoyed my time here. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the villa is top notch. The food at the restaurant is amazing and I had a wonderful massage. A bit far from the centre and in a location where you can’t really walk much. Also I didn’t appreciate dogs being unleashed around — I know it might be normal in Bali, but it made me uncomfortable, especially around the restaurant area where one wishes to fully relax. Still, these are just details — I’ll stay again!

Once you reach the location, you have to walk down quiet a bit of stairs and with heavy luggage it can be an issue but the host sent two of the helpers to get our stuff down so that process was seamless. The villa amenities and views were just wow. Luxury villa in the rice fields. We also got a Balinese couples massage in the villa, highly recommend. All the staff there were so friendly and taught us so much about Balinese culture.

So peaceful and quiet u can hear birds chirping with no artificial noises (eg traffic etc). Spacious, 2 story property (bedroom + bathroom) upstairs. Swimming pool. Hot tub. Excellent service and exceptionally kind and nice staff. It’s like a hut, where indoor and outdoor spaces mix. So safe. Cafe close by.

• Evgeny (10/5): I booked for 2 nights and changed my plans to stay for 3 nights more - that says everything. - This is amazing nature living facility with top notch staff and great service. The villa has open style and still quite private. The bathtub outside and the net with the view is the gold! I even slept 1 night in the net outside thats how calm and magical it is. The view and nature are from another planet! If the price be higher i would point out some small details to fix, however it’s the best price/quality you can get to be amazed!
