Guest Reviews
- F (9/5): - View nya bagus sekali
- Roaz (1/5): -
- Azman (1/5): - They did not honour our booking. We were left without a room and had to find other alternatives. Apparently the place was overbooked
- Scott (5/5): Amazing terrace views, everything else very poor. - Terrace area with absolutely amazing views Pretty much everything else...😅
The room was basic and clean, but absolutely no effort has been made to make it welcoming. It's a box with a bed, and a scanky curtain.
Bottled water and toilet paper were provided, but nothing else, so make sure you have your own soap, shower gel, shampoo etc ..
The guy on site for check in was pretty rude. He tried selling me tour packages before I had got in the front door of my "box" then lied about the distance to walk to Bromo, and the options to get there. He was rather unpleasant when I informed him I didn't need these services.
Overall not great. It's a shame as this place has massive potential under competent management.

- Kinandari (10/5): 100% Perfect Location and View to see the great Bromo - View and location, if you want to see Bromo but you can't go early morning for Jeep tour ,book these place , you not need to wake up early morning because you see all the view and everything just in front of you.
Very valuable and worthy ❤️
Definitely will come back.

- Astrid (5/5): - Einfache Unterkunft in phantastischer Lage. Man bezahlt für den Blick. Optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderung zum King Kong Viewpoint (bester Viewpoint). Dünne Decke, wenig Licht, Abfluss vom Waschbecken plätschert direkt in Nachbarraum (Dusche).
- Gazali (1/5): The facility must be reviewed again by Booking.com , or just remove from vendor list - Nothing, it’s was rained when We arrived , the floor got wet because the room cover not properly cover No, the bathwater not hot and there was no soap & shampoo available , the facility not even better than home stay but We paid a Villa
Eravamo in 11 persone...
- Piotr (5/5): -
- Milla (8/5): Good value for money. - The location was good, easy to hike to King Kong hill in the morning. Room was simple but good - good value for money. Bromo sunrise tour bus with guide gathered outside our room and started to talk very loud 1.30 at night so could not sleep. They left only 3am and did not be quiet even though I opened our room door and asked them to be quiet.
- Katie (6/5): Great view but thats about it. - The view is outstanding, this is what you are paying for. It truly took my breath away. Its a great place to explore Bromo from.
The rooms are very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had no water, tea, or coffee in the room; there was a kettle and some sugar, but that was it. There are no shops in the immediate vercinity, so this was definitely not ideal. I couldn't find the man who'd checked us in to ask for any either, for the rest of our stay.
There is no food or drinks available at the hotel at all. Not even cup noodles.
It was so cold on the second night that I hardly slept at all. It was 6 degrees, and all we had was one blanket. Our room had an open vent to outside in the bathroom and no door between there and the room... it was just a shower curtain. This really wasn't OK! More bedding needs to be provided or a door, at least, needs to be attached to provide a little bit more insulation.
There is no hot water at all! The best you can do is fill the bucket in the bathroom from the kettle and have a quick wash. At least one hot shower should be available, even if it is in a shared bathroom, separate to the en suites. No soap or toiletries are provided, which considering it is on the backpacking route is disappointing.
This is the worst place we have stayed in during the whole of our tour of Java, at this price point, in terms of lack of amenities and the unavailability of staff to assist.
It's such a shame as it has the potential to be great.
- Jan (9/5): Probably the best accommodation in the Cemoro Lawang area, with an excellent view of Bromo - A basic but clean room, equipped with a bed, a small table, a kettle, and a private bathroom with hot water. It has everything you need—except Wi-Fi. The accommodation appears to be relatively newly built, and parking is available right in front of the room.
The view from the terrace is excellent, overlooking the caldera with Bromo and Batok. Communication is via WhatsApp, with the option to arrange tours and a jeep. It's a good base for trips to the Seruni viewpoint (and beyond), into the caldera, and to Bromo if you’re planning to explore on your own.
It’s about a 1 km walk to the village of Cemoro Lawang for food—there’s nothing nearby the accommodation. Entry to the area is not included in the price (35K/person). It was very cold at night, and there was only one blanket for two people. No WiFi.
- Diane (9/5): We thought we were going to be in a guest house but no it was just a private room with a bathroom. - The room was really clean! Very quiet also.
The location was perfect to go to the view point for the sunrise of Bromo.
(No using Jeep only walking) A but complicated to find the good place because there are 2 homestay with the same name (same owner but not the same location).
- Leon (7/5): Good -
- Tijs (8/5): Very good - Rooms are good and clean and an absolutely beautiful view from the terrace, staff was easily reachable through whatsapp I was the only one there
