• Marion (8/5): Dennoch eine tolle Unterkunft, ideal um Ljubljana zu erkunden. - Tolle zentrale Lage, man kommt zu Fuß sehr schnell ins Zentrum und dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Auch der kleine Innenhof macht das gewisse etwas. Man darf nicht sehr viel Gepäck dabei haben, da es sehr eng und klein ist. Leider war es bei uns Anfang Mai noch etwas kühl, Heizung war aus und somit war es Anfang recht kalt.
• Izabela (7/5): Świetna lokalizacja, ale trzeba uwzględnić hałas z ulicy - Najbardziej podobała mi się lokalizacja obiektu (do górnego rynku było naprawdę bardzo blisko, przystanek był dwa kroki od mieszkania) oraz bardzo dobry i częsty kontakt z właścicielem, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o przekazywanie instrukcji i organizację pobytu. Niestety nie spodziewałam się, że apartament znajduje się praktycznie przy samej ulicy i ma duże okna wychodzące bezpośrednio na ruchliwą okolicę, przez co nawet w nocy było bardzo głośno. Mieszkanie sprawiało też wrażenie zawilgoconego. Dodatkowo umywalka w łazience jest tak mała, że właściwie trudno z niej komfortowo korzystać. Podczas pobytu nie działało również Wi-Fi ani telewizor, co było sporym utrudnieniem.
• Sailer (9/5): - Die Unterkunft ist für einen kurzen Städtetrip perfekt. Ich war im Napoleon 4 untergebracht. Ich fands cool, das ein Smart TV mit Netflix vorhanden ist. Ich finde die Unterkunft für 2 Personen schon recht klein. Alleine war es perfekt, aber zu zweit wird es wirklich eng. Beim check in war es bisschen kompliziert, da in meiner mail napoleon (2+0) stand und da dachte ich, ich bin in Napoleon 2 untergebracht. Mir wurde aber dann schnell geholfen.

• Emma (3/5): Disappointing! Please avoid! - The only good thing is that the apartment is near the city center. It was horribly noisy because of the street it is located on, even though it statet that there would be an AC, there is none. With the windows open it is even to loud to properly have a conversation. Plus there is no way to darken the room so it is very bright the whole night. There was only one blanket provided, which wasn't even large enough for two people. Furthermore the whole apartment lacks the proper accomadations, for example there is nothing to hang wet towels, there is not even a shower curtain. The bathroom also smelled horrible, it was hard to stay in there for even just a minute. Please don't make the mistake of staying here! It felt like being scammed!

• Anna (9/5): Appartamento moderno a due passi dal centro - Posizione molto buona, a 5 minuti dal centro. Appartamento nuovo, moderno e arredato con gusto. Letti comodi, macchinetta del caffè con molte cialde disponibili. Wifi e grande smart tv. Servirebbe qualche pentola in più, sono presenti solo qualche padella e un pentolino. La cucina in generale è un pò sguarnita di utensili. Se si soggiorna per più di un paio di giorni è meglio portarsi da casa un pò di roba. La doccia aperta è un pò scomoda e in bagno mancano delle mensole per appoggiare le proprie cose. Il lavandino oltretutto è davvero piccolo...

• great_panda (10/5): Great location and services, everything was handled perfectly and of course, Ljubljana - awesome! - the location and the value for money - hands down - the best! everything is within a walking distance - the castle hill was right behind the accommodation. The room was cosy and comfy - the bed was great, there was also a hot water machine - which was a blessing after a walk in the cold in the center of Ljubljana. The washroom was spacious and clean - everything perfect! Loved the stay and the city and the country :) Getting the key, the super prompt and hassle-free communication with the host was a pleasure, also there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation - highly recommend it! 💯 Honestly, nothing, everything was great! :)
• Martina (10/5): - La pulizia, la grandezza dell’appartamento, la temperatura della camera calda e confortevole, caffè disponibile in camera, anche posate etc. Consiglierei altre 100 volte e ci tornerei. Zona tranquilla vicino alle strade principali del centro, può impressionare un po’ la strada con la nebbia ma noi 3 ragazze non abbiamo avuto alcun problema Tutto bellissimo se proprio devo trovare qualcosa, magari mettere una grata alle porte finestre che danno sul marciapiede, può fare sentire più sicuri essendo l’appartamento fronte strada. Quando si entra dal portone sembra un garage con tante cose in disuso, magari un po’ di ordine perché invece poi l appartamento è bellissimo e pulitissimo.

• NTAIANA (4/5): Pessimo - L’edificio, la vicinanza al centro, l’atrio attrezzato di sedie e tavoli e il letto comodo. Camera troppo piccola, non c’è nemmeno lo spazio per muoversi, molto più piccola rispetto a quello che sembra dalle foto. Difetto più grande la porta del bagno che non si chiudeva creando un enorme disaggio! Non ci sono armadi, e nemmeno una sedia o un pouf, c’è solo un letto e una cassettiera inutile. La tv non funziona. Abbiamo trovato insetti in camera. Gli scalini per arrivare nell’atrio e quindi in camera sono troppo stretti e alti, scala molto difficile da fare con i bagagli.

• Dániel (4/5): Tiny glass box near the center - The apartment is close to the centre. Parking next to the apartment is more than 1.5€/hour. Wifi did not work, so streaming services on the television didn't work either. I tried to contact the host about this, but got no answer until the end of our stay. The bathroom door didn't close and there was an uncovered outlet (!) literally next to the shower, which had no curtains (I believe this is a safety hazard). The room is cold and there's only floor heating. It's also really loud since you're in a glass box, and the only way to get fresh air into the room is to open the entrance door since there are no opening windows.
• Caryn (5/5): Ok, but needs some improvement - The location is close to city center (about a 10 minute) walk. The room was very basic. Need more wall hooks for hanging up clothes and especially in the bathroom for towels. The bed was pushed up against one wall so some trouble getting in and out during the night. This room faced the road, so traffic noise if the window was open. Really could use more outlets and an electric kettle. A microwave would have been heaven.

There wasn’t an electric kettle or toaster. At night there was no outside light outside our room to help putting the key in the door. It would have been nice to have the ability to was our clothes…or at least information about the closest laundry.

Store cassé, de ce fait on peut nous apercevoir depuis l'extérieur et la lumière du jour nous a gênés.

• Stephan (2/5): - An diesem Tag regnete es durchgehend in Ljubljana und dadurch drang Wasser in das Zimmer. Musste Nachts zweimal den Eingangsbereich vom Wasser befreien sonst wäre das komplette Appartement unter Wasser gestanden.
• Maximilian (3/5): - Terrible stay – not worth the money My stay here was extremely disappointing. The room was crazy tiny and offered absolutely no privacy – it’s a glass box placed in the middle of the atrium where ever other guest passes by (see picture). To avoid being on display, you have to keep all blinds fully down, which makes it feel like staying in a prison. On top of that, there was no hot shower. Even though the boiler was on (see picture), the water never heated - I tried several settings but gave up after 10 minutes.. When I raised this issue, the owner flatly refused any kind of responsibility or compensation, which I found unacceptable. He claimed I just had to wait longer or didn't know how to use the shower control thermostat - absolutely ridiculous. For €100+ per night, the value for money is shockingly low. I cannot recommend this place at all – there are far better options in Ljubljana for the same price (or less). Stay away. - room size - no privacy (being in the room feels like in a zoo) - facilities (old hot water boiler that doesn't heat up - you need to wait 15 minutes to take a hot shower) - owner seems greedy and not cooperative - not professional

• Shaun (8/5): Nice clean compact apartment for a 1-2 night stay - It was clean and close to the old-town restaurant street. The aircon, coffeemaker and TV helped us to relax and recover from hiking. There are a few items in the room that make a light so at night it can be disturbing your sleep if you do not have eyepatches.

• Diana (4/5): - Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und modern ausgestattet. Zur Innenstadt ist es nicht weit. Leider war es durch die stark befahrene Straße vor dem Haus oft sehr laut, was vor allem nachts gestört hat. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein, und beim Duschen wird schnell der ganze Raum nass.Insgesamt in Ordnung, aber mit einigen Einschränkungen beim Komfort.
• JOSE RAMON (5/5): Me encanta esta ciudad - La cercanía al centro. Ya había estado en la ciudad en otra ocasión y aunque no está exactamente en el centro histórico, si está a 5 minutos andando. Se accede incluso por una zona muy agradable del centro histórico. El acceso al apartamento. Se accede por un pasillo con un montón de cosas que hace parecer un trastero. Parece que podrían estar haciendo alguna obra y que tienen el material allí almacenado temporalmente. Si es así, no pasaría nada. Yo colocaría una cortina grande o algo que impida esa visión. Hay también allí un fuerte olor a equipamiento/humedad. El baño requiere atención. Cada vez que se activa la luz o el agua se dispara una bomba que tiene un sonido similar al de una lavadora. Bastante ruidosa. La ducha moja una buena parte del baño, que es bastante pequeño. No conseguimos tampoco activar el aire acondicionado, pese a que preguntamos. Obviaron la respuesta. Supongo que no lo tienen operativo y prefieren no decirlo. Creo que con un split solucionarían el problema, aunque tienen un equipo de aire bastante potente, según se podía ver en la zona de pasillo indicada anteriormente. Pero no funcionó. En cuanto a la zona de cocina, correcta, simple. La zona de dormir correcta. Por comentar algo más, en días de más de 30 grados teníamos para dormir un nórdico. Sería bueno disponer de unas sábanas para no tener que cocerse en cama.

• Liron (7/5): All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the appartment - The apartment was nice and very clean. The bed was comfortable and so was the bank bed. The check in was very easy. The location is perfect, very close to the old city 1. The bathroom could be more equipped with a bigger sink (it was so small that we preferred to brush our teeth in the kitchenette’s sink), a shelf to put our stuff and hooks to hang out towels. There was also no equipment to dry the bathroom floor after taking a shower. 2. We did not succeed with turning on the air-condition, and sent a message about that to the host, but did not get any response.
• Thomas (5/5): With some improvements to ventilation and kitchen facilities, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay. - The apartment had a great location close to the city center, and the beds was comfortable. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host worked well. However, a few things negatively impacted our stay. There was a strong damp smell in the apartment, likely coming from the plastered walls, which gave it a musty, basement-like feel. In addition, the kitchen was very poorly equipped – it was missing most basic items needed to cook or even prepare simple meals.
• Magda (7/5): I would not stay again - It’s a small compact apartment, featuring a kitchenette, a bed, high table with two chairs and a chest of drawers. Everything is new. There are several things: there were no curtains in the windows and it was very light in the night. As the apartment is overlooking the street, there was no privacy at all. Second, the street is loud - four lines, bus stop and some sort of a building site in front. In hot weather one must sleep with windows open, which means it’s very loud. The construction started at 7 am. So I ended sleeping with earplugs and eye mask. The bathroom was nice and new, but not well thought through, the shower was overflowing and there was nowhere to put shower gel next to the shower. I had hard time navigating the water flow so it doesn’t go everywhere. Finally, the bathroom was invaded by ants, they were everywhere on the floor. It was very uncomfortable to stand on ants in this bathroom. I provided this feedback to the apartment, no response.

• Robo31 (7/5): Good - Clean, location. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The room is really very small. Nowhere to hang clothes or towels, not even in a bathroom. Bathroom's door is broken and couldn't be fully shut.
• Airlie (9/5): Comfortable stay, quiet but close to everything - Good location - only a couple of minutes to the river and old town or the walk up to the castle, but quiet. Great shower, aircon worked well, comfortable bed. Host was very responsive on WhatsApp. A couple of other apartments also enter off the courtyard so it isn’t private (which I didn’t appreciate from the photos).

• Silvi96 (7/5): Great location and cleanliness, but not ideal for light sleepers - he accommodation is new, which means everything is very clean and fresh. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of water in the fridge as a welcome gift from the host, which was a nice and thoughtful gesture. The location is excellent – it’s close to the city center, so you can easily reach most places on foot. The train and bus station are also within walking distance, about 20 minutes away, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, there are some downsides. The apartment seems to be a converted commercial space and is located right next to a busy main road. The windows facing the street are not properly sealed, so traffic noise is constant throughout the night, which makes it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom is not very practical – there are no hooks or shelves to hang or store towels, and the sink is extremely small, even though there is enough space for a larger one. Additionally, the shower appears to be poorly designed; the water does not drain properly and instead spreads across the entire bathroom floor. If multiple people shower one after another, the water even flows into the kitchen area.
• Ervin (7/5): Good - Good location, we had everything we needed. Definitely a smaller space but that’s okay. The terrace was nice. :) Confusing information about parking – we booked this apartment because the listing said there would be parking. We understood this to be private and free, unfortunately there is only public parking nearby and it was full when we arrived, meaning we had to find a different place to park.
• Dano (5/5): Passable - Very new and clean. It is way too small for 2 people. Not even anywhere to put a wet towel! Aside from this it is very nice but for 2 people it is not big enough
• Milos (5/5): Passable - Nice kitchen, wonderful baby equipment The apartment is a little bit cramped and the stairs leading to it are quite narrow but these are minor things. The main reason for such a grade is that there were ants in the apartment the last two days which is not always pleasant, especially if you are staying with a 10-month old baby. I'm talking about dozens of ants - we even brought some back home in our suitcase
• Alefiyah (10/5): We really enjoyed our time at Apartment Napoleon, and would happily stay here again! - The apartment was spectacularly clean when we arrived. There was also a coffee machine with good coffee, and everything we needed could be found. The best part was the host, who always answered our phone calls within a couple of rings (even at midnight when we could not find the right door to enter). The air conditioning and shower also worked well. It was overall a great stay, thanks! :-) There wasn’t a light at the entrance, right before you walk in the door, though this comment probably isn’t for the apartment but rather the building management. It can also get a bit noisy at night due to the proximity to the street.
• Desislava (7/5): Good - Great location in the heart of the city center. Very nicely furnished, clean, and equipped with everything necessary. The studio is literally on the street; the entire front side is a window display, and it’s quite noisy. The bus stop is right in front of the window, and everything can be heard through the glass. When we arrived, the apartment was quite cold. It did warm up later, but it hadn’t been prepared with the necessary temperature.
