En rentrant dedans rien à voir avec l’odeur du logement ou autre. C’est vraiment le bâtiment je précise bien l’odeur et nauséabonde mais à part cela rien à dire.

- TAPAS (1/5): - Proximity to shops and facilities 1. They hide vital information such as non-availability of elevator in an old building with high floors and the apartment is on 3rd floor! If you have aged traveller and with luggage, you will be in deep and serious trouble.
2. There's NO PROPER TOILET!!!! Yes, you hear me right. It's a very disturbing nightmare. It has some nonsense in the name of toilet and the morning ritual is extremely stressful.
3. Very rude staffs. They have some stupid video instructions for how to collect the key but that's incomplete as it's difficult to find how to open the building entrance door itself. When texted, the staff got irritated. They are incapable to deal with international Clients.
4. Be extremely careful about the bed because IT'S BROKEN!!! Please make sure they don't charge you for damage because you may get caught unaware after you find out the condition of the bed.
Bottomline? DON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT FOR YOUR STAY

- Sarah (4/5): Lack of timely communication - The apartment was clean and spacious Our toilet didn’t work for 2/3 days of our stay. When I contacted the conciergerie they eventually brought a plumber but said that it had been a problem for over 2 weeks at that point. The electricity was also out for about a day and a half (the building is old, not their fault) so I was given a refund for the first night but when I contacted them about a refund for the second night because we didn’t have a working toilet, they ignored my emails.

- Mojde (6/5): lower than my expectation - The apartment is located in the historic city centre, with a walkable distance to the city's train station (saint-roche). The apartment is much older than what you see in photos.
There is no lift in the building. You should climb three floor while smelling the damp smell in the whirling stairs.
I booked the apartment around two months ahead of my arrival, but on the day of arrival, with my limited internet connection, I got a message from the owner that you should provide a 500 € deposit. The idea of asking for the deposit on the day of your arrival is odd IMO. After check-in, I had to check every detail of the apartment and take photos as evidence of the status of the apartment, which are not the sort of tasks you want to do on your vacation. Beside this, after paying the deposit, they send you a list of dos and don'ts and you have to obey because you have already paid 500 € of deposit. For example, you have to take your own garbage out of the building, with no instructions on where to put it. You have to clean the fridge, the dishwasher, etc. Otherwise they will charge you with a penalty of minimum 129€.
There is no AC inside the apartment. However, the apartment has got two old fans. So you have to keep the windows open which is impossible because of the loud noise from the bars in the neighbourhood.
Finally, they only provided one tiny bottle of soap for each one of us for the whole four days.
I decided to never trust the photos, nor the overall score of properties again in the booking.com. I will read people's reviews. I can't believe this apartment has got 7.2 so far. In my opinion, the maximum score it deserves is 6 out of 10.
P.S. the apartment owner sent a message to us after check-out, and offered to write a cool review for them, and get a discount code for my next stay!
