The experience is truly authentic—you stay in a traditional Balinese family home, which makes it so much more special than a typical hotel. The family members were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their warmth and kindness really stood out to me, and they made my stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for an authentic and meaningful experience in Bali, I would absolutely recommend staying here. I was honestly amazed by how kind and genuine everyone was. it is also very close to center and Yoga barn. there are so many nice cafes around it. i highly recommend it!

Nikt nie miał na to wpływu i absolutnie nie mam żadnych obiekcji co do tej sytuacji. Jestem zachwycona jak szybko personel zareagował i jak wiele osób zaangażowało się w rozwiązanie problemu. Nie widziałam wcześniej tak doskonale zorganizowanej obsługi! Warto dodać, że jest to doskonałe miejsce do pracy zdalnej: można wygodnie pracować z pokoju, jest szybki internet, duży i piękny taras, blisko hotelu są świetne kafejki i miejsca coworkingowe, więc dla mnie to była fantastyczna lokalizacja. Poza tym lokalizacja jest ogólnie jedna z najlepszych w Ubud moim zdaniem - zależy kto co lubi. Wielkie i wygodne łóżko - dla mnie to ważne, ponieważ mam problem z wysypianiem się, a tutaj każdego ranka budziłam się wyspana. Śniadanka są bardzo skromne, jak dla ptaszka.

Obsługa bardzo sympatyczna i przede wszystkim pomocna, nawet pomoże w ogarnięciu prania i zorganizowaniu wycieczki. Codziennie czyszczone pokoje. WiFi działa bardzo dobrze Śniadanie w cenie proste ale dobre. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni że tam trafiliśmy. Cena bardzo na plus. Wszystko było w porządku.

I really appreciated the natural light, fresh air, and the calm surroundings. The hosts were kind and helpful, and the location was great for a quiet, relaxing stay. The Wi-Fi connection could be a bit unstable at times, and there were occasional noises from outside. Other than that, everything was fine.

• Olga (10/5): Nice place to stay - Nice and quiet location, close to many interesting places in Ubud, lovely people. interesting and communicative host, always fresh breakfast, high level of cleanliness. Sometimes the communication with WhatsApp administrator was unnecessarily complex.

We had an amazing stay at Tenkangin Homestay and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great balcony where we could relax. The homestay has a very nice breakfast area, and having breakfast there was a real pleasure — peaceful, well set up, and a lovely way to start the day. The breakfast itself was very good, freshly prepared and satisfying. The location is excellent and very central — it is within walking distance to Monkey Forest, as well as many temples, cafés, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring Ubud very easy without needing transport. What really made the stay special were the hosts — they were extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming, always ready to help and making us feel at home. We also used their car service for two full days, during which they showed us around Bali. The service was excellent, comfortable, and offered at a very decent and fair price, making sightseeing easy and stress-free. Nothing all was great

Wir waren einen Monat im Tenkangin, haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen! • Preis-Leistung ist super! • die Lage ist fantastisch! man ist super zentral, hört von der Straße aber so gut wie nichts! • sehr bequemes Bett • die Zimmer sind leider extrem hellhörig - grundsätzlich sind wir das von Südostasien gewohnt, aber hier war es, als wäre unsere Nachbarin direkt bei uns im Zimmer gewesen. da sie aber auch länger hier war, konnten wir uns gut arrangieren. • wir hatten leider sehr viele Ameisen im Zimmer, aber auch das ist fast in jeder Unterkunft so. • wir würden einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer noch super finden! ☺️

• barbalazaros (8/5): Value for money stay - Pretty little room not too far from the centre, really good value for money with great internet. No fridge is the main minus (but you know it in advance), and there could be more vigilance against mosquitoes in the rooms.

Huge thanks to the owner and the whole family for the free breakfast and for making me feel like part of their family. Everyone was always happy to chat, give advice, and help with anything. Such a wonderful hotel with delicious breakfasts, amazing people, and a great location. Highly recommend!
• Xander (6/5): Don't understand the high ratings - Well located on a quiet side road, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, monkey forest. Affordable rooms in a family compound. Nice balcony with a view to treetops. Large gaps around all the front and balcony doors made it easy for geckos and insects to come in. Bathroom uncomfortably small. No real storage to speak of - only a few drawers. Cleanliness could be improved - floor visibly dirty (needed a proper wet clean), water marks on shelves, drain smells in bathroom, ants around sink. Room was not made on the first day, and we had to remind them on the second day. On both days that the room was made we came back to find the door unlocked. This was a bit worrying as there was no safe in the room. The staff was very friendly and eager to help, but there was a significant language barrier. Breakfast very basic (lukewarm reheated pancakes), to the point where we skipped it twice and went out instead.

The hosts were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed comfortable, and all amenities were thoughtfully provided. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!
• XIAOGUANG (9/5): Warm and comfortable feeling - I love this homestay so much. It feels like being at home. It's very local and has a warm and friendly atmosphere, just like being part of a family. There are many birds and green plants inside the homestay. Waking up to the sounds of birds and the fragrance of flowers is such a pleasant experience. I also like the breakfast here. The soundproofing of the room is not very good, and the sound of motorcycles on the street is still a little noisy, but normal residential housing is also understandable, which does not affect the experience.

• Stefano (9/5): Strategico ed ospitale. - Struttura molto bella in una tipica casa di Ubud con tempio interno. Zona strategica, in pieno centro ma fuori dal traffico (10 minuti a piedi da Ubud Palace e meno di 10 minuti dalla foresta delle scimmie). L'unico rumore presente è il canto del gallo alle 4.30, ma da quel che sto vedendo, nelle homestay di Bali è cosa praticamente comune. Famiglia e personale molto gentili e disponibili, pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta e trovare soluzioni (tour, lavanderia, indicazioni...). Si potrebbe migliorare la colazione. Poca scelta, praticamente solo uova preparate in maniera differente (omelette, occhio di bue, strapazzate e pancacke) e frutta, se si soggiorna per un po' di giorni è ripetitiva. Inoltre i tempi di preparazione sono un po' lunghi, (30 minuti minimo), se avete pianificato delle partenze, bisogna tenerne conto ed essere chiari fin dal giorno prima per mangiare in orario.
