- ibrahim (10/5): - Arkadaş canlısı
- Pollard (10/5): - The staff were brilliant especially Hassan who was an amazing person thank you so much.
- Alexandra (1/5): No hot water. - Location close to Lark Lane. No hot water for two days. This was fixed on the last day of our stay but no compensation was proposed apart from the offer of late checkout. Bathroom in extreme state of disrepair.
- Joaquin (10/5): - The location is amazing, the staff really help with everything Need a renovation, but overall is ok
- MALONEY (10/5): - Excellent customer service as always by hassan and team
- Loreta (1/5): - Nothing as we were cancelled 2 hours before checking in Nothing as hotel is under refurbishment

- ronald (10/5): comfort - the guy on reception was amazing
very helpfull
- John (10/5): - Perfect location and helpful staff Nothing
- John (10/5): - I like everything I love the hotel
- John (10/5): - I enjoyed location the hotel style All good i liked everything
- Michelle (10/5): - I wish to leave a review for Hassan, the hotel manager and his son. I could not ask or expect a kinder family. I came to the hotel due to personal difficulties and Hassan immediately recognised my distress and looked after me. He has gone above and beyond to make me feel safe and looked after. Thank you Hassan
- John himsworth (9/5): -
- Kirsty (10/5): Is a good cheap place to stay would definitely stay again - Good location if you want to be close to the city and the boss man is always willing to help you out Nothing
- Kirstie (8/5): Nice :) well visit again - We got to the hotel and got a Free upgrade on the room we booked. Booked last minute. Staff where veryhelp work being done on the hotel but this didn't affect are stay
- Deborah (1/5): Very disappointed. This room was over £200 for one night and wasn't worth £50.00 - The bathroom was tired, dirty and unusable. It was a health hazard, unclean and damaged. The toilet seat was hanging by a hinge, consequently when it was sat on by my 82 year mother she slid to one side and fell off. She didn't realise it was broken until she was on the floor and saw the bolt that should have been attached to the toilet seat. The shower was rusty and covered in Verdigris, so we did not shower either. The soap dispenser on the basin was empty and had black mould in it. The bedroom furniture was chipped and tired looking. Our level of expectation was due to your promotional four star photos and the price I paid matched that level of expectation. Ourselves and others trouble using the keypad entry system with its 9 digit code as it was unreliable. At twenty past two in the morning the man staying in the adjoining room spent 20 minutes, shouting with frustration because he couldn't get into his room. I could see his shadow outside our room so you can imagine for two women on their own being awoken by this disturbance it was very frightening, as we didn't know straight away what he was angry about. He was asking for money from somebody which i presume was a member of staff.
- MALONEY (10/5): - Excellent customer service from hassan
- Sylvia (6/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): - Hassan the manager recognised me from March
Taxis had a problem taking me and picking up!!
- olivia (8/5): Visit to Sefton Park - Beautiful old building with special features. Opposite Sefton Park, around the corner from Lark Lane and in walking distance of St Michael's Train Station. Plenty of hot water. Hassan, the manager was very friendly and answered the phone promptly. The room door locks. Not the usual swipe card, we were given a code for a touch screen that didn't work and we really struggled to get into the room and lock.
- Jane (1/5): -
- Nia (4/5): Good location, needs significant maintenance to be a functioning hotel - Good location
Car parking available Small table - unmanned rather than reception desk
Unclear who were staff members - no uniform, in casual clothing
Clearly currently being maintained, no lounge/ dining space, wet paint / half painted
Room door opens with code - no lock on inside to be able to override / lock door when in room.
Bedding clean but ripped.
No hairdryer, wardrobe unstable - wobbled when touched
- Georgie (4/5): -
- mike (10/5): -
- Rob (4/5): Not worth the price even at a lower than usual rate, potential as a good hotel with investment - Hassan the duty manager was very helpful and attentive. Being by Sefton Park and Lark Lane was good. On site parking. We had to switch rooms twice. Rm 1 was covered in bird poo as the window shad been left open. Rm 2 was small and the bed was against the wall, curtains would not close fully and outside lights were on all night, kettle wouldn’t fit under tap and bedside lights didn’t work. Rm 3 better size but tv didn’t work and shower temperature wasn’t controllable and bed spring son one side broken and there was an odd smell. Room cleaning was poor in places. No spoons for tea/coffee in any room.
- Tina (10/5): - Great locations bonus was including free parking which the guy very kindly helped me arrange for very clean place smelt lovely budget friendly and staff very helpful highly recommended will stay again thank you
- Andrew (1/5): Dreadful lasted 20 mins in the room before booking another hotel - Nothing property was in bits Blinds where ripped like a cat was in the room
Broken tiles wallpaper falling off the wall
Smell of mould and paint
Homeless sleeping in the entrance
Drunk men at entrance also
Not one worker at the property to complain in person
Left within 20 minutes of arrival
- John (8/5): - The room was clean and had the facilities we needed The kettle facility was great but no spoons and only a few milk and couldn't find staff to ask for more
- Antony (1/5): Steer well clear. - Nothing. I arrived at the prearranged early check in and they wouldn’t check me in. Told me he was too tired to do it and for me to come back in 45 minutes time. Poor staff attitude
- Sam (3/5): Not the best experience - Location was close to the city and parking was good. The electric shower was leaking and was either scalding hot or freezing cold.
We did get moved, and it was very hard to find our room, but the room was boiling hot. The radiators had not been bled, and the valves did not turn them off.
The carpets were very tread bare, and not all the lights worked.
The website pictures do not reflect reality.
- Verity (7/5): Great basic and budget friendly option in a wonderful area of the city - Friendly staff and simple check in process. Bed was comfortable. Bedside lights didn't have bulbs in them & no phone charging next to the bed.
- Xose Gabriel (10/5): Happy to come back - Great location and big room
- Pollard (10/5): - Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, stayed at this hotel 4 times, and never had an issue. Nothing
- Anita (9/5): Comfortable bed in a clean room and en suite. Very friendly and helpful owner/manager and staff. -
- Avinash (10/5): Any time I’m staying in Liverpool, I’ll be staying here. The bed was a great size and really comfortable excuse all my C - Amazing value for your money with an easy walk to town, you can feel secure with the super helpful staff.
See the picture for an idea of what the bed size and my junk from comic con. There’s nothing to not like.
- Taulant (1/5): Not worth - Nothing Everything
- Lachesis (2/5): DIRTY!!! Nice staff but bring your own towels and flip flops - Great staff and very friendly manager Dirty room. I got athlete's foot on both my feet from the bathtub. The peephole in my room was damaged and that was fixed with a bunch of cotton. Towels smelled stale. I think hygiene is not a priority for them. Cheap and unclean. I have learned my lesson!
- Farhad (1/5): My most worse experience accommodation - Nothing The photos in the booking site it's not belong to the hotel, it's was basement and so dirty each and everything, stinky and awfol they provide the worst rooms to the booking guests !
- David (2/5): -
- Sophia Bigot (10/5): Very good - Very good and the staff is nice and availlable
- Leslie (7/5): - Location is great Parking is easy Hotel needed a little tlc but it is being refurbished
- Renata De Rosayro (7/5): - Its location
- Wise (10/5): A great stay with an excellent room, fantastic location and a genuinely helpful host who is working hard to improve the - Great location right opposite Sefton Park and only a short walk to Lark Lane. The room I stayed in was excellent, really spacious with a lovely bathroom and felt more like a suite. The owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, allowing early check in before the Liverpool game, upgrading my room and even dropping off bottles of water late at night. Communication was easy and he was always available if needed. You can tell a lot of effort is being put into improving the place.
- Adam (5/5): -
- Mechelle (10/5): Exceptional staff - Once fully renovated this is going to be a smashing hotel..the staff where all extremely pleasant. The manager Hassan is a total gentleman. Couldn't have done more for us. We most definitely will return for these reasons. These people know how to treat their customers. We came at the wrong time. The bar and restaurant where under renovations. However just around the corner the street is full of bars and restaurants..once that bar and restaurant open this is going to be a fantastic hotel in a beautiful area of Liverpool
- JOHN (1/5): It's a potential death trap should it remain open. They are only interested in taking your money. - The location & absolutely nothing else. It's hard to find anything remotely positive to say about this dump. Virtually everything. I'm disabled & had informed the hotel of this however it was my fault apparently for not calling them again to tell them once again that I'm disabled. We had no other choice but to stay the night. My son had to more or less carry me between the lift & our room because my wheelchair did not fit through the corridors. The room itself was a disgrace. It was boiling hot & when we arrived & when we tried to adjust the temperature, we discovered that the radiator valve had become detached. That would explain why a wardrobe had been conveniently placed in front of it. Option 2 was to open the window. Simple really except for the fact that the window had been nailed down. The following morning, my friend reported that he'd been electrocuted when switching on a bedside table lamp. The guy at reception wasn't remotely interested. He couldn't even feign concern.
- Faisal (5/5): - Staff was cooperative Hotel room really needs updating. Windows not working, noisy radiator pipes, fitting in washroom not working properly
- Gregory (2/5): I will try and remove this night from my memory. - I didn't like anything at all. The staff just tried to keep charging for extras. The room was barely clean. It was boiling hot and the widnow wouldn't stay open. It was a rip off price wise, the same or more than hotels when it was more like a bedsit. Oh, the TV didn't work and you have to pay for parking.
- Maryna (9/5): - Good for its price. Very quiet and pleasant area, near big parks. No mirror in the toilet room
- Xose Gabriel (10/5): Buena experiencia, ubicación excelente - Ubicación perfecta, habitación grande y luminosa Requiere una renovación
- Claire (1/5): absolutely horrendous - the only positive was the location Everything , it was completely different to the photos online you should be ashamed of yourselves as a business booking .com to even have this terrible accommodation on your website. We were shown three different rooms all were below standard one had a huge crack on the side panel of the bath. Eventually after being asked if we wanted a different hotel in the centre ( which is totally the opposite reason of why we chose this place) which we said no as the location wasn’t what we booked . The room had a tiny toilet with a wonky toilet roll holder and dirty shower that actually stopped working all together mid shower . The landing , while being shown to our room , smelt of sick and cannabis and the door was badly fitted with gaps in the surroundings. There was no reception , just a man with a laptop and it was incredibly poorly equipped with the normal amenities you would expect as you are being charged £135 for one night with no breakfast
- Joseph (10/5): - This was very good value for money. I was greeted by the owner and his son.The owner spoke fluent German and was a gentleman. There was a very comfortable room and bathroom with a striking view of a park with trees. It wasn't noisy and had a lift. I liked the beautiful building.amd beautiful park nearby. There was no breakfast but there was a lovely cafe a few minutes ago also a shopamd pubs.

- Shakeeb habib (9/5): -
- Sumalin (9/5): - Very good
- Maine (10/5): -
- Stacey (8/5): Does what it's meant to do. - The owner was a sweetheart whom has just took over the hotel. Woth some tlc and once he's completed his plans on the place it's a steal. And a great looking hotel. Perfect spot too. I'll definitely stay again and look forward to the new look. Rooms are in need of a make over but it really was a great little hotel.
- Eileen (5/5): -
- Laverty (10/5): - Great location. Amazing staff. N/A

- Adrian (10/5): -
- Jack (2/5): -
- Guest (4/5): -
- Wesley (1/5): A complete dump - Nothing apart from the young staff member who was very helpful This place is a stinking hole. Everything is filthy. The room above me leaked brown water into my room, probably from the toilet. It stinks of cigarette smoke that is being poorly masked by layers of nasty smelling carpet freshener. There is a layer of grime on everything. Seriously, do not waste your money on this place. I paid £75 a night, I wouldn’t give you 75p. Zero stars
- Martyna (1/5): Do not stay here. - Nothing The room was extremely dirty with cobwebs and spiders everywhere and significant dust buildup on all surfaces. The pillows and carpet had stains and there was an awful smell in the room which resulted in me being unable to stay the night there. There were dead flies in the bath which clearly shows how long for it had not been cleaned for or inhabited with the bath panel out of place and sticking out. Very disappointing and in fact disturbing.
- Mick (3/5): I didn't go for the Hotel per se, so not overly disappointed. - Bed was fine. Car park fine - need to register at check in. Location was good - on the edge of Sefton Park. Short walk to Lark Lane - a hive of shops, restaurants and bars. Very small room, with heavy carpet, upholstered chair and curtains which I didn't like. Small bathroom with no water in hot tap - was somebody else showering ? Very tired décor - could do with a face lift, but it was cheapish.
- a.m (8/5): -
- Daniel (1/5): Dreadful - There was nothing to like, the room was not as advertised, it smelt musty, was dirty, in disrepair and had no hot water, the restaurant was not open, there is no breakfast facility, it simply was not the room I had been lead to believe I had booked, I walked out after having one terrible night and had to book a different hotel, There was nothing to like, it was terrible, the room smelt musty, was dirty, in disrepair and had no hot water, the facilities were non-existent and it was nothing like the photos advertised, the corridors were dirty and poorly lit, it was not what I had expected,
- JFT96 YNWA (5/5): - Clean, friendly staff Reception not staffed you had to ring someone if you needed something. Also, my door access combination code did not work, and it was very worrying/frustrating trying to get in late at night.
- McCall (1/5): My stay was brief , it had to be, safety is of paramount importance . - This has been the most challenging stay I have experienced .
The only positive part was Shakira a member of staff , trying to help me and support my safety. The staff were off sick and the Reception desk was unattended. The door of my room was smashed down the side and this was not a safe stay to say the least. It not being safe, unclean, and not being clear in its definition ? Is it a hotel ? I wasn’t able to stay , but from observations it was definitely not functioning as a hotel .
- Liam (10/5): -
- Charnthep (10/5): -
- Burke (2/5): -
- Shakeeb habib (9/5): Hotel manager was quite helpful as he fast track my check in even though I arrive late at night - Good
- yean (10/5): -

- David (3/5): Potential is there, but not quite there enough. - The location was great in the middle of Liverpool.
The bed was very comfortable.
Very convenient to offer parking as well.
This has the potential to be a great hotel in the heart of the city. Unfortunately - despite it being offered when I booked, there is a renovation ongoing which meant that Breakfast wasn't available.
There was no hot water for the shower, and the 'hot' water that came from the tap was mildly warm.
Added to that was the noise - and electricity junction box right outside the room (I believe do do with the lift) made rhythmic noises throughout the night, and in the morning, the pipes made so much noise so often, it sounded like somebody throwing up.
The room was presentable, but could have done with a clean - cobwebs, rust in the bath, lack of things like a toilet brush etc.
- Dylan (3/5): Good location, needs some serious maintenance attention - It was in an ideal location The shower had no power at all and was literally just dribble, there was stains all over the room and the curtain was hanging off, there was also black mould around the top of the window, when we arrived in the room the window was left open and there were flies all over the room
- Ben (1/5): Wouldn't do it again - There was no running water and a dirty room
- jackie (2/5): Run down and run definitely not 4 stars - The location and free parking It’s very tired and run down and most certainly doesn’t warrant 4 stars. It’s very grubby and the bathroom was awful with old towels, hardly any water out of the shower and wasn’t hot.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Acceptable standard, good location. - Convenient for Lark Lane. Opposite Sefton Park Rooms only cleaned every 3 days.
- robiul (10/5): - I like the environment and atmosphere and the staff of the hotel. I didn't like that they don't have any restaurant yet but they said next time if i came on there would be a restaurant.
- Kevin (8/5): Perfect stay and great value with great staff - Clean great location and parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the staff. No bar
- Gina (7/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): -
- Stuart (10/5): Great - Great location on the park & really close to Lark Lane, amazing friendly staff, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Sakir really goes beyond to make your stay the best it can be Spoons instead of wooden stirrers would be nice
- Elizabeth (6/5): Ideal for family, dated but provided what we needed in a lovely area. - Location is great, it’s in a nice neighbourhood.
5 min walk from Lark Lane and opposite Sefton Park.
15/20 mins from main attractions of Liverpool. Shame it doesn’t serve breakfast.
- Daniela (10/5): -
- sonia (1/5): - Location It was dirty, dated, nothing like the pictures. It stank of cigarette smoke. I was extremely disappointed. No lock on my door.. being a lone traveler wasnt good here. I was moved 3 times.
My list about this horrible place is endless.
I couldn't sleep in the double bed as the mattress was so old and smelly.
- Michelle (1/5): Worst place I have ever stayed. As the sign says in the photo should not be open. Disgusting con that booking.com have a - Nothing filthy only stayed one night of two booked and that was due to how late it was.Rooms nothing like pictures on booking.com. Still waiting for refund. Everything
- Mpho (7/5): -
- Anton (10/5): Great value for money thanks sakir - Great location convenient place staff are friendly
- mikey (10/5): - Amazing location.
Samir our host was amazing.
He gave us lots of infermation and was very attentive to us.
Will definitely be a regular hear. Looking forward to all the amazing reservations to be complete to try them next time.
- Ahmed (10/5): - Comfortable clean and friendly staff
- John (8/5): Super location and room for relaxed quite stay in Liverpoo - The room was comfortable and large, super big bath and shower. Great view across to the park opposite. Location with park and local eating and drinking places. Hotel is undergoing overhaul and upgrade of kitchen, bar etc. Once completed the hotel will be even better.
- Dylan (10/5): Amazing stay. Staff very friendly - The hotel was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good experience and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Looking forward to coming back again soon!!
