• Lise-Marie (10/5): Personnel aux petits soins, vue sur la caldeira à couper le souffle - Une adresse absolument exceptionnelle pour vivre l'expérience du Mont Batur comme elle se doit. Dès l'arrivée, le personnel nous a accueillis avec une chaleur et une bienveillance rares. Attentionnés sans jamais être intrusifs, ils ont anticipé nos besoins, répondu à toutes nos questions sur le trek avec des conseils précieux, et créé une atmosphère qui donne immédiatement envie de rester plus longtemps. Mais ce qui rend le Lava Sky vraiment unique, c'est son emplacement. Se réveiller en pleine nuit, partir marcher dans l'obscurité et atteindre le sommet du Batur pour voir le soleil se lever sur la caldeira et le lac — c'est une expérience qui marque à vie. Et savoir qu'on redescend ensuite dans un hébergement aussi accueillant, c'est le luxe absolu. Le cadre est à couper le souffle à toute heure : le coucher de soleil sur le volcan depuis la terrasse la veille, puis ce lever de soleil inoubliable au sommet le lendemain matin. Si vous venez à Kintamani pour faire le trek du Batur, ne cherchez plus. Le Lava Sky est l'endroit parfait pour vivre cette aventure dans les meilleures conditions possible. Je recommande chaudement et sans la moindre réserve.
• Christophe (7/5): Lieu incroyable et expérience intéressante sur une courte durée - L’emplacement et la vue exceptionnelle ! Le lever du soleil ☀️. - Aucune insonorisation entre les deux logements et avec l’extérieur - Présence de fumée dans la chambre lorsque l’un des résidents décide de choisir l’option « feu de bois » à l’extérieur - les rideaux ne couvrent pas la totalité des vitres donc il est impossible de faire l’obscurité si cela est souhaité
• Liberty (6/5): Incredible staff and location but some changes necessary to make it a perfect stay - Morning views, fire pit and staff were incredible No AC which was a massive issue between 6am-6pm (unbearably hot) and flies were a massive issue - there was a huge gap around the entire open ended roof and the glass door… mosquitos and flies were constantly in our room which made it so dirty from trying to kill them all. I think if you were staying for 1 night just to get up early and see the sunrise it would be perfect but 3 nights was definitely too much with these issues. Breakfast was also not good at all unfortunately

The cabin itself is cosy, peaceful, and perfectly set amidst nature. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise with views of Mount Batur and the Black Lava landscape was truly magical. They also offer comprehensive tour packages, making it easy for you to explore the surrounding beauty and adventures. You’ll truly love this place if you’re someone who enjoys both adventure and peaceful moments in nature. If you’re looking for a serene escape with stunning views and heartfelt hospitality, this is the place to be

• Judith W (10/5): Quiet secluded accommodation with a great outlook. - The villa was very quirky, well finished and furnished. There are only two units, looking out over the lava fields, lake and straight up Mt Batur. The views were amazing and it was very tranquil. A firepit at night, set by the staff, was an added bonus. The unit is down a steep road, however the staff are always on hand to drive you up or down from town. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and always ready to help. Breakfast was very good and other meals can, and were, delivered from restaurants in town if required. We certainly would stay at Lava Sky again. Would not be suitable for children, due to the mezzanine bedroom.

I’d recommend contacting the accommodation staff and asking them to pick you up, unless you have solid driving experience or a capable vehicle. But aside from that, an amazing experience is waiting for you!!! Nothing

The views of Mount Batur are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such a powerful and peaceful landscape is an unforgettable experience. Every sunrise from the villa feels like a gift. The cleanliness is impeccable; everything is spotless and beautifully maintained, which makes the stay even more comfortable and relaxing. But what truly makes Villa Lava Sky special is the people. The kindness and warmth of the staff make all the difference — they don’t just host you, they make you feel at home and part of something special. We would come back again and again without hesitation. A perfect place to disconnect, enjoy nature, and feel genuinely welcomed.

• Miki (9/5): nice visit - It's very private and comfortable, with only 2 rooms available. It maintains the silence of the place, which is really nice. View is fantastic, of course. Staff are very helpful, professional, and communicative. The road is really bad, so allow them to shuttle you. It was very rainy, so there couldn't be a bonfire. But there was a good sunrise =) It's quite clean and new condition. Bed is comfy. I didn't order any food but there's some snacks, a kettle, and a fridge available, if need be. Lots of the small amenities provided: towels, robe, basic toiletries, floor fan, slippers, umbrella, etc. It's definitely better for a holiday and not expect to have space to pull out a laptop; I was quite minimal for this trip so it didn't bother me at all, but keep that in mind. The place matches the photos quite well. I would just offer a minor suggestion: maybe a way to turn off the garden lights at night (better stargazing) and a power extension cord to help plug-in devices. The hot water runs out quick, be fast with your shower xD

• Melnikov (10/5): - A huge thank you to this hotel and its staff — you gave me the best vacation of my life. The hotel is very cozy, and you are taken care of in every possible way. They drove me to a restaurant and recommended delicious dishes worth trying. They took me on a tour, and even though I overslept, the staff did everything they could to make sure I still made it on time. It’s quite difficult to get down to the hotel, but even that stops being a problem because here they will help you get down, drive out, and even bring your bike up the hill! Whatever you need — they will make it happen. And the view from the window, the terrace, and the nightly bonfire add even more to the amazing overall experience. Thank you once again!

• DreadFPV (8/5): Neu und noch schön - Angenehmes Hotel. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Das Restaurant nebenan hat sehr gutes Essen. Auch werden Sie von dem Personal nach Kintamani gefahren mit dem Auto falls gewünscht Die Zufahrtsstrasse ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand - diese muss dringend repariert werden. Bei uns hat es geregnet und der Neubau ist noch nicht ganz dicht, es kam ein wenig Wasser bei der Eingangstüre rein. Das Personal hat dies aber anstandslos gereinigt. Leider war auch das kleine Gewächshaus vor unserem Appartement nicht mehr top in Schuss was die Aussicht ein wenig getrübt hat. Wir haben einige Tipps für die Verbesserung gegeben 👌

A special mention goes to Ras, the incredibly friendly owner who truly goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. His hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

Здесь предлагается один вариант д - Чисто, вид на горы и вулканы, наличие возможности посидеть вечером у костра; внимание, отзывчивость и работа персонала Подъезд - разбитая, небезопасная дорога, но персонал предлагает вам помочь и забрать вас на машине, а ваш байк они же в целости доставят к домику. Прямо перед домиками, помимо костровой чаши стоит черная палатка - сооружение, которая не позволит вам насладится полноценным видом на Батур
• stephen (7/5): Great location ok accommodation - Stunning views over the volcano and lake. Very friendly and welcoming staff. No AC which wasn’t a problem at night but during the day the room got very hot. Quite a lot of flies. You can hear the other room very easily.
