Donghyun (7/5): - An incredibly clean and luxurious hotel. The location is also unbeatable, within walking distance to Komtar and the malls. I believe the room facilities are the best in Penang. However, due to a few disappointing and baffling aspects, I cannot give this hotel a 10 out of 10. The hotel requires a RM300 deposit upon check-in, which is refunded at check-out. I understand this, as many hotels collect deposits. However, upon checking out, this hotel made a room inspector check the condition of the room and refunded my deposit only after about 10 minutes. I have stayed at numerous 5-star hotels across Malaysia, including KL, for work, but this is the first time I have actually had to go through a room check before getting my deposit back. For all other 5-star hotels, a deposit is merely a formality. This kind of direct inspection process is highly unbefitting of a 5-star hotel. I suggest the management review this policy. Take a look at how other hotels in George Town handle this.

Lesley (10/5): Excellent location, friendly, helpful staff, spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated rooms - Well situated, friendly helpful staff and the rooms were decorated beautifully, with plenty of room, dressing room and bathroom were really great and the kitchenette was excellent Bar wasn’t open in the evening and no wine at the pool bar. Although we did manage to order wine and have it sent to the pool.

Begrijp me goed, nog steeds van een zeer goed niveau, maar net geen 10. De ligging is net niet helemaal in het centrum, maar ook daarvoor moet je een kniesoor zijn.

Sajid (10/5): Top top top. - I was honestly so surprised at the quality of the hotel, the room and the facilities. I often stay at well known brand hotels but this was beyond better than the Hilton’s and the like. Staff were so attentive and helpful as well as being knowledgeable. The lobby being on level 6 was strange but once we got used to it didn’t have a problem.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, de kamers zijn fijn met goede bedden een hele toffe walk in kast met ruime douche en goed ontbijt. De inrichting was ook spot on. Ik kan niets vermelden wat beter kon.

Amirah (10/5): Great! - Really really beautiful hotel. Even nicer than the 5 stars hotels I’ve stayed around KL. And clean! Generous breakfast spread. Room is spacious n even have a little kitchenette n dining area. Pleasant surprise for us first timers. I ca see the view of the sea n Penang bridge from my bed, lying down. And service with smiles all the way, great customer service from every staff. Special shout out to the new concierge staff named Aizat, who helped us with our luggage from the door, helped with our parking card and brought our luggages all the way to the car park n load it into the car. Very friendly and pleasant employee. Keep this up and maintain the hotel well please, we r already planning to go back! Nothing.

Aroa (8/5): Muy recomendable - 5 avenue Bueno: Personal amable, habitación amplia y limpia, la que reservamos cuenta con una pequeña zona de cocina. Tiene filtro para poder beber agua sin comprar miles de botellas. Cogimos media pensión que incluía cena y un mocktail y estaban realmente buenos. La piscina es realmente espectacular, limpia y con buena temperatura. Te prestan toalla allí mismo. Bastante buena ubicación, a 15-20 minutos andando del centro, aunque con la calor se puede hacer eterno. Tiene un 7 eleven justo debajo. El aire acondicionador solo tiene control en la pared y si lo quieres modificar durante la noche, te tienes que levantar. En la media pensión, la cena que incluía era solo 4 platos distintos que nunca cambian. Si ya no te gusta el pescado como a nosotros, tuvimos que cenar todos los días lo mismo y aparte el sabor no era nada del otro mundo. Intentamos cambiar a comida en vez de cena y no se pudo. La cena fue lo que menos nos gustó de nuestra estancia. Hay que dejar depósito en el check in de 67€ que tardaron bastante en devolverlo.

Christopher (9/5): Tolles Hotel mit mega Ausblick bei Nacht und bequeme Betten - Neues Hotel, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr bequeme Matratzen und Kopfkissen, eher geräumige Zimmer, extra Küche, großes und sehr schönes Bad, sehr gutes Frühstück, zentral gelegen, leise, Pool mit toller Aussicht Nur das die Klimaanlage direkt aufs Bett gepustet hat.
Andrei (7/5): Почините кондиционер - Новый отель, выглядит дорого-богато Не смотря на то, что отель новый, были проблемы: Кондиционер постоянно чудил, работал пару минут, потом выключался и не включался снова, пока не вытащишь-вставишь карточку от номера в выключатель у входной двери. Крышка унитаза не была прикручена. В гигиеническом наборе не было расчёски.

Zac (10/5): - Incredible hotel. It felt so grand walking into the foyer. The rooms were well air conditioned; so nice to escape the heat! The pool was stunning overlooking the city. The rooms were huge! Bathroom was massive. We arrived on a very early flight to Penang and the team were more than accomodating to help us check in a little earlier than we were were meant to! Staff were soooo friendly. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. So many different cuisines and loads of local breakfast options which is what you want when you travel right! (Traditional English brekkie also avail) Street food markets only 4 minutes walk away either side of the hotel for breaky lunch and for dinner! Thankyou for a wonderful stay! More sun beds up top would be nice. The pool bar only served beers. No cocktails or spirits (despite having a back bar of spirits on show) maybe we came at a bad time. No menus on display anywhere for the restaurant and downstairs cocktail bar. Very strange not even in the foyer or in compendium/tv app . Obviously you can walk into the restaurant and ask but I like to know before I dine. I suggest to advertise the bar and restaurant a little more. Maybe you will have more patrons and make a vibe!

Aireen (10/5): Great stay ! - The location is very strategic, near to every places. If you’re planning to walk ard the town, this hotel you need to choose. The hotel is clean, breakfast spread is very good, and the staff is very helpful & friendly. -
Rutangi (3/5): Avoid - breakfast gave my partner food poisoning - Comfy bed and big room Breakfast gave my partner food poisoning! I would be cautious, I didn’t eat much at breakfast so I was safe. The water is “filtered” water but it tasted very odd and bottled water was charged.

choon jie (8/5): Good, can be Better - Location is good. Easy to reach anywhere in Penang. The bonus is you have 7-11 and restaurants at the ground floor at the hotel. Hotel is new, thus is cleanliness is above the line. Check in & out is smooth, i like it when doesn't need to place any deposit upfront. Everything about the hotel is excellent. However, in my humble opinion as a frequent traveller who enjoys staying in five-star hotels around the world, this property has tremendous potential to elevate its standards further by improving on the points I have highlighted: Bathroom: 1. More cloth hanger needed. Now only one hanger. I have no idea which to hang first, my towel or cloth. 2. No Magnifying mirror 3. No shaver kit (maybe is upon request, im not sure) Bedroom: 1. The plug socket only available on one side of the bed, instead of both sides. I believe most of people love it when have it both sides. 2. No universal socket. This city is the busiest traveller spot in Malaysia so universal socket is a necessity. 3. Can place graphic sticker onto the switch. So I don't need to keep guessing which switch is for which light every single time. Breakfast: 1. My stay is on long weekend and the crowd is expected. The staff accommodating us very well although we have to wait for seats. But I can observed that the most of the food tray is empty and is not refilled, is only 930am. Food quality have to improve too. Abovementioned is the little minor things which doesn't cost much, and I believe that by solving these can elevate the experience of your guests to another standard. I love the stay very much!

Parthiv (9/5): I had a very good stay and will come back with family next time. - It’s new, it’s fresh. It has a very good lobby. The best part is that the room I had booked had a separate bath and toilet. The lobby is very good. I wish they had a few Indian vegetarian items in breakfast. Another good part is that hey have a seven eleven and a Chinese restaurant just below the hotel and they are open 24x7 and till 3:00 AM respectively. Location is quiet. The infinity pool has a very good view, I wish they had a very good bar with the swimming pool. Nothing, all good.

Emma (8/5): - Lovely spacious rooms and fit out in a great location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely pool. Despite check in being 3pm one room was not ready until 3.50pm which was a pain. The pool is lovey but it was disappointing that the only alcoholic drinks at the bar was beer.
