- Phyllis (3/5): Unhappy travelers - The hotel itself has a lot of potential as it's beautifully built, situated at a great location. The 2(black) receptionist who welcomed us were friendly and knew how to treat clients.
The room was big enough There were NO coffee/tea/sugar/milk/water provided in our room,we had to go ask at the reception,a guy brought them for us,the few that he had🙄.The kettle couldn't close properly when you want to boil water. The spoons provided were very outdated and mismatched!Weird for a 4 star hotel to also not have a bar fridge.
There was a problem with the toilet as it couldn't flush well, there was a leakage in the bathroom, we didn't find towels, only 1 was provided,we had to ask for them aswell. The bed was too low for our liking, although the matrass was comfortable
The guy at the reception gave us 5L water because there was no water and we were told the plumber was on his way,I couldn't even take my evening shower.I don't feel happy with the amount we paid for the service we got and I feel like paying that much should also include Breakfast
We travel a lot,so our disappointment isn't an "overreaction"
- Shelly (8/5): - Decor None
- Shelly (8/5): - Staff Upfront cash deposit
- Tracey Kannemeyer (8/5): Home away from Home - I loved the space, the cleanliness, the privacy, that it had all the amenities of an apartment. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place in the Johannesburg South area. That the electricity switched off sometimes during the night, as well as the TV. I need white noise in order to sleep, and would wake up when it would go off.
This got sorted out right after I informed reception though, and that was awesome.
- Sanet (6/5): Nice stay, however a few things need attention - Friendly and helpful reception TV in the room was not connected to WiFi ; aircon didn't work on warmer setting; there was no coffee/sugar/milk
in the room
- Nicole (10/5): -
- Fatima (5/5): definitely a place i will not recommend not based on the place itself, but the rude muslim woman manager or woman in cha - the room was lovely & spacious & liked the kitchenette no breakfast included & the manager, a muslim lady, forgot her name, very rude, abrupt & most unhelpful. Clearly she does not own the place as she was extremely rude & doesnt care if u would come back or not, even the staff feared her
- Werner (3/5): -
- Lukhele (3/5): Moderate - The location and it was very close to where I wanted to be No toilet paper. Room not cleaned on arrival. TV not working
- ntozakhe (1/5): The stuff are extremely unprofessional. When we arrived we were told to pay R500 for potential damages which we were not - It was clean.
- Lerato (4/5): It was an average stay - I liked that check out was only 12pm There was no WiFi connection so we couldn't use the TV.
We had to ask for the TV remote and Aircon remote. They weren't provided upon check in.
I had to pay a separate R500 deposit which I wasn't told about when making the booking.
- Pillay (7/5): -
- kunene (10/5): -
- Oswin (8/5): -
- mbongeni (1/5): A mess - The place looks really nice They took a retainer fee for damages R500 when we checked in and told us we will get it back after 4 days but we were told we will get it back after a month when we checked out .
There was no electricity in the area so it was dark and backup took an hour long to kick in
- RUBY (10/5): - The rooms are amazing. We had so much space .
And the beds so soft and warm
- Ngema (2/5): -
- Ntsikelelo (8/5): - There was an electricity issue, wifi wasn't working the eventually aircons were also switched off
- Mpho (6/5): - The place is stunning Our room was not very clean. My partner complained about the dirty floor and the R500 charged for the breakage fee was excessive
- Tumelo (1/5): - The facilities and that it's closer to where we had an appointment Firstly we were given a room that we hadn't booked for and told that we were changed because someone has a wedding at the venue despite the fact that we booked prior.
After asking for the iron countless times and calling with our personal phones they still never got us the iorn until we checked out, they kept insisting that they gave us the best room while there was no tv remote.
There was no telephone in the room for us to actually call the front desk, the water in the shower was cold and not well regulated for us to adjust it be warm.
Ultimately i am not entirely happy about the fact that i paid for a room that they further allocated to someone and gave an excuse that they gave us a honeymoon suite that we didn't ask for and that has less facilities in the room as compared to the boutique room that ibhad booked.
- Nokuzola (10/5): Compliment - The location, neatness rooms where amazing Is the water problem that I experienced in my stay
- Mogane (10/5): - The property was clean with advanced bathroom equipment and quiet environment It was a struggle to shower as the water was coming slowly
- Norman (10/5): Great - Everything about it Nothing everything was great
- Buthelezi (8/5): - The place is very secluded and clean, the facilities are also really good. There was a kettle for teas and coffee but no teas and coffees to make.
- nicoleen (8/5): Good stay - It’s close to fnb stadium very spacious with enough parking comfortable beds friendly staff very quiet place Still under construction, there was no bar fridge available, you pay R500 for damages that will be transferred in 7 days back to you and no breakfast available as the place is still under construction
- Thabiso (10/5): I wish I could stay there forever - Everything honestly The safety it has and the staff that really cares about their customers
- Moolla (6/5): -
- Oreeditse (8/5): Overall good stay, there is room for improvement - Spacious room. Good location very secure. Friendly and helpful staff. My room key was not working and staff swiftly attended to it Shower had no caddy for my toiletries
No bin in the bathroom
Sink was a little dirty on my arrival, and water drainage at sink very low
- Mubeenul (10/5): -
- Teboho (7/5): - The location is great The beds are too flat and closer to the ground
- Thato (10/5): -
- Leon (9/5): Our stay was comfortable, safe and enjoyable. I will strongly recommend this hotel to anyone going t - The manager, Tasneem, was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Rhea, the receptionist, was professional and helpful. You are perfectly safe once inside this hotel premises.
- Nichume (10/5): -
- Zama (2/5): Poor service - We didn’t eat breakfast, the place is nice but the service is poor The service is poor,we got allocated to a room that was not ready. We waited for some time to get another room which was underwhelming, it had no fridge and microwave. The price was not worth it.
- Thabo (10/5): - The staff, size of the apartment and supplies There were traces or smell of wood and paint but it was acceptible as the place is new and still on finishing stages
- Kiara (1/5): I unfortunately won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Very disappointing. - Nothing. - dirty kettle water
- unfriendly staff
- no fresh towels
- extremely noisy from the padel courts and football field
- dusty in the rooms
- staff coming in the room without knocking
- Caitlin (8/5): Overall a very nice stay and would come again - The pull out bed is amazing as someone who prefers a firm bed. The aircon is great. The balcony was nice. We liked the space and set up of our room. The shower was nice and spacious. My sister forgot hwr soap and appreciated the bodywash provided. The security staff were a lifesaver and helped us so much in finding our way!! SUPER friendly and happy to help There were a couple of things that werent bad i just wanted to mention. We stayed for 1 night. My sister and i both like coffee and tea. There was only one coffee and one tea per person which was okay but if 2 were available we would have appreciated it. The lighting is good but its a bit weird how the switches work. The balcony was nice to have a morning coffee on but it was a bit dirty and we had to put something on the chair provided to prevent clothes getting dirty. The shower was also a bit hard to understand, obviously showers are all dofferent but the shower had two sides that worked differently which we had some trouble with. We would also maybe suggest leaving some servietes or wipes in the rooms as we spilled some tea and had nothing to clean with except towels which we didn't want to use (luckily we realz3d we had gotten some servietes with the takeout we brought back) and lastly, the room we stayed in had a very dark staircase to go up, we realised there is a motion sensor light at the bottom of the stairs but it doesn't always trigger and its hard to see anything going down the stairs. Overall it was nice, these aren't complaints as in we wouldn't go back for these reasons, just feedback
- Muhammed (1/5): - No hot water
No shampoo or soaps provided
Hard mattresses
- Tshepo (6/5): - staff cleaning were late & lacklustre
- Thabo (7/5): - The only thing I didn't like is the extra R500 I had to pay which I have not received back 27 days later
- Sipho Sibusiso (10/5): Exceptional,my wife and kids enjoyed the stay - Close to Gold reef city. All good
- Thato (10/5): -
- Keabetswe (8/5): -
- Mongikazi (10/5): The hotel is absolutely beautiful with high convinience. - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent from start to finish which made everything easy and comfortable. It’s also very secure, great environment. Everything was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
- Halima (7/5): -
- Thulisile (10/5): -
- Mpho (10/5): - Everything.
The reception staff were great. Nothing
- Shazia (5/5): - Good location and spacious room. The female receptionist is friendly and helpful. No slippers in the room. No body wash, bottle was empty, the man outside reception area didn’t greet us but asked for money. There is a lot of dust on the window sill.
- Guest (8/5): It was a blissful stay - Everything Nothing
- Fatima (5/5): -
- goolam-mahomed (9/5): Very good - No breakfast. Restaurant was exceptional Free wifi not working
- Jacob (5/5): - Location is good and secured The bed wasn't comfortable, very hard.
- Zakiya (8/5): -
- Nonkululeko (9/5): -
- YACOOB (7/5): -
- YACOOB (7/5): - The suite was very spacious & comfortable The double room very cramped & small.. At the price charged full breakfast must be included.
- Retshepile (8/5): -
- Bhembe (5/5): -
- Mareletja (10/5): -
- Festoh (1/5): - Not a single thing Extortionist, nonrefundable policy.
Rude staff and management
- Samkellyseewear (10/5): - Option of late checkout No sound proof
- Anastasiia (5/5): Not for light sleepers - It is close to the FNB stadium and apartheid museum. The room was clean and new. The sound isolation is absent: the whole night I was hearing people opening/closing door, people walking and talking in the corridor. I woke up not rested at all. Also, breakfast was not included for that price.
- Fanie (6/5): - We used this hotel to be close to the FNB stadium. It was only a 4km ride to the start of the Ride Joburg cycle race.
Rooms does not have a fridge, so we upgraded to an executive room for R500 extra. Room was spacious and everything was in place. The room does have a kitchen area but no cups, plates, spoons, forks or anything to have your breakfast/food in the room.
Our room also had an earth leakage that kept on tripping and the staff did not know where to reset it. After a few hours it was sorted out.
- Udu Chelsea (8/5): Friendly staff and comfortable place to stay - The friendliest staff you’ll ever meet! I paid for breakfast but wasn’t able to make it in time. I wasn’t allowed to carry over my token to the next day.
- Adriana (10/5): -
- Mocke (8/5): Satisfactory for my needs - The venue was close to the FNB stadium where we needed to be.
All was well and in good working order. Fusion Cafe was not easy for me to reach since i was wearing a moon boot. I did not think they would offer breakfast so I went else where.
- vahed (10/5): -
- Namisha (8/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Beautiful place close to the FNB stadium - A new property with modern finishes. There was no minibar in the room and noise in the middle of the night
- Selepe (9/5): See you next year for 94.7 cycling challenge - Staff friendly Fix Television
