• Carol (10/5): modern facilities plus a beautiful old location - Gorgeous location in the heart of old Chinon. I loved the old exposed beams in the bedroom. The shower was wonderful--large, beautifully tiled, with three choices of water direction from the very modern shower. Great facilities downstairs in the kitchenette too. Very modern and sleek fittings in an ancient building. The bannerless stairs to the upstairs bedroom take a bit of negotiation, especially with a suitcase in hand. I was also surprised the host didn't provide shower gel, and it was annoying not to have anything to hold your toiletries while taking a shower, but these are very minor grumbles about what is, overall, exceptional accommodation.

• REGIS (8/5): - Le logement est très bien situé, au cœur de Chinon, sous le château et très proche des restos et boutiques... On peut se garer facilement à côté et un peu plus loin gratuitement. L'immeuble est ancien, charmant et contre la falaise et ses caves..et l'ensemble est parfait pour un week-end, avec tout ce qu'il faut ! Le lit n'est pas vraiment confortable, on sent le sommier au travers du matelas. Et l'obscurité ne se fait pas vraiment malgré les stores. Il suffirait de rajouter des rideaux occultants... dommage !

• Andrea (10/5): Ottima soluzione - Appartamento pulito, ben arredato/attrezzato e rispecchia bene la descrizione fornita. Buona dotazione in cucina e nel bagno. Facile e preciso il check-in. La posizione in centro città è ottimo ma la stradina che port all’appartamento la sera è buia e non illuminata.

• Fabel (10/5): Petit cocooning sympa - Appartement refait à neuf, tres bien placé, dans une impasse au centre ville donc tres calme, il est aussi tres bien équipé. Le matelas, il est creusé par l'usure le coté où y a la salle de bain.

Hoher Bistrotisch unbequem zum Essen.

• Isabelle (9/5): Very enjoyable stay. Chinon is a small and beautiful city. We would come back to this flat again. - The flat was very spacious, modern and cosy. We really liked the ‘loft’ decor. We only stayed a couple of night and didn’t really use all the equipment but the flat would be perfect for a longer stay with big fridge, oven washing machine and big table in the dining area. It was cold outside when we visited Chinon but the heating worked very well. The flat is perfectly located a few minutes from the main square, bars, shops & restaurants. No negative comments. It took us a bit of time to work out how to put the radiators on, a notice/user guide would have been helpful (maybe add to the information sent by email which was excellent & very clear.

• Jack (8/5): Chinon apartment - The apartment was very clean and everything was as described. The only quibbles are that the bed might have been more comfortable and a bigger couch would be very nice. Other than that all was good. The apartment is in a great location just two minutes from the town square .it suited our needs for a short stay very well and We would recommend it. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. Seating downstairs could be better. More towels are always welcome

The whole living space was well thought out. Some noise on Saturday night from private party in nearby cellars. This was a one-off.

Good instructions for finding the apartment although they were all in French. Liked the bedroom being upstairs. Could have done with some instructions for the air conditioning as we couldn’t get it to work. Only 4 large plates, no bowls or small plates but plenty of wine glasses.
