- Sonja (7/5): Cozy, convenient, clean and perfect location - Great location and within easy walking distance to everything. The check-in process was very simple, and we really appreciated being offered an early check-in for those arriving early. The accommodation is only around 16 minutes by Uber from the airport and is centrally located, just a 4-minute walk from Nice Ville train station. There are plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, and the promenade and beach are around a 30-minute walk away. The accommodation itself is slightly on the smaller, cosy side, but it’s modern, very clean, and equipped with everything you need, including a steamer and hairdryer. Daily cleaning is optional, but fresh towels are provided every second day and the bins are emptied regularly. Communication throughout our stay was flawless, and staff were always available on-site or nearby if needed. The air conditioning works really well, which is ideal during the summer months, and the easy code-access entry system was a great touch too. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. - Mihriban (5/5): Good location and value, but not a pleasant experience. - Good shower and water pressure, clean room, very good and on time communication, the location is very good close to everything. Building itself is very dodgy, dirty, always sketchy ppl waiting and getting in the building. In fact, one night they got in the building we heard them walking around for a while and had to put a chair behind our door. Also, the smell in the building is terrible, smells food and urination everywhere in the building. The hotel is located on the 2 floors of this building and their floors are clean but bc there are other families living in the building and I think bc of the airflow our room always smelled like someone’s kitchen. You can hear all the noises from the hallway too. Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom area has a mirrored glass door and person sitting on the toilet is always visible no matter what.

Inte en enda krok i hela rummet, var tänker ni att man ska hänga upp kläderna? Det enda som fanns var en ca 30cm bred garderob med ett par galgar! Tips för att enkelt få högre betyg, sätt upp några klädkrokar i rummen!

- Ella (4/5): I would not stay in this location again and believe there is better hotels in Nice for a similar price! - The hotel is in a good location. It’s a 20 minute walk from the old town and beach and 10 minutes from the main train station for day trips to other areas. It was quiet and the bed was comfy, shower was nice and the room had a smart tv. The room was much smaller than what it looked like in the photos. There was not enough floor space to pack or unpack luggage and storage was non-existent other than a tiny wardrobe with 5 hangers. We really struggled with the small space for 4 nights. There is also a strong cat outdoor in the stairs and hallway area which is quite unpleasant. There was no bad smell in the room however. The view from our window overlooked a shabby rooftop and other run down apartments and wasn’t what we expected when going to a beautiful city like Nice. The self check-in is very easy, however, I messaged the hosts twice during my stay and received quite short and unfriendly responses which took about 20 minutes to receive. I asked for fresh towels after 2 days of our stay and was told they were changed after 2 nights - which we did not appreciate. Then on our last day we went to the luggage storage location the hotel mentions and found it was closed. I messaged the host on WhatsApp and did not receive a response so we found another storage facility a 10 minute walk away and then 30 minutes later we received a response to my message with instructions on how to access the luggage storage facility across the street to the hotel. This was very unhelpful and could have been sent the day before check out.

Det är som ett ghetto, alltid konstigt folk i trappen och barn som skriker. Öppnar man fönstret kommer cigarettlukt in. Precis som många andra skriver luktar det så otroligt illa i trappen, urin antar jag. Jag försökte kontakta ”hotellet” flera gånger men fick väldigt sega svar. Du behöver betala 5 euro för att lämna dina väskor på ett lager - bara med det borde jag förstått att detta inte är ett seriöst hotell.

- Laura (1/5): Very bad experience! - Very stylish apartments, rooms (but only rooms, not common areas) newly furnished. Convenient location in the city. Comfortable double bed, but not sofa bed, which is very hard and creaky. Our room was a family room for 4 people, we got room no. 6 right above the oriental delicatess shop- it was impossible to open the window - the smell of oil spread straight into the room! When the air conditioner was turned on, the same smell of oil spread into the room through the ventilation system! The very helpful staff changed our room the next day! But the smell of food was still felt in the room. The smell in the stairwell is HORRIBLE! We had to rush out of the room because it stinks indescribably! There are always a lot of strange people on the stairs and at the entrance door, which does not inspire confidence that this is a safe place! And the event that shocked us the most: on the last night of the stay, there was a loud party in the room opposite, at midnight the residents started arguing and fighting in the stairwell! It was really scary, the children couldn't sleep - they were scared! It was a very unsafe feeling! The staff recommended just staying in the room and not worrying. This was not the feeling you want to experience on your vacation!

- DaniRubie19 (10/5): Luxury aprtment, we will stay again! - The location was perfect for the train station and also being close to the main street through Nice, you could be on the beach in 20 minutes walk. Amazing apartment building, kitted out with hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, lovely interior and easy communication with the host. Easy to access and check in too The only negative was the lobby and staircase smelt of cats and cats litter, which may have just been the apartmnets and locals who live there, but was a little offputting when climbing the stairs each day

- Anna (10/5): If you want a place to stay close to everything - station, beach, parks, food - this is it. - The location was ideal - central, a couple mins away from the train station and a 15/20 min walk from the main park and beach. We used the train to visit Monaco (recommended). The apartment is surrounded by many good restaurants and supermarkets. Plates, cups and cutlery were provided with a kettle and coffee machine. No kitchen but there is a mini fridge. Very clean, big bathroom, comfy bed and mirrors all around. Despite being close to main streets it was not too noisy. They provide the option to store all luggage for 5 euros close to the hotel in a storage space down the street, we used it on the last day after check out and it saved us carrying heavy backpacks for 6 hours around the city. The only thing that could have been better is if the early check in was not as expensive (30 euros). We had to wait a few hours due to our early flight and sadly missed the option to store the luggage the first day as well.
- Georges (8/5): Overall extremely happy with the experience, would recommend earplugs and night eyemask. - Location is perfect, price is reasonable, self-check-in was convenient to our late arrival time, and support is available via chat in a timely manner (requested extra pillows and help with the fridge). Feels very fancy, looks gorgeous, toiletries smell and feel great, bed is comfortable, space is clean. - Being right on a busy street meant we could hear quite a lot of the traffic overnight, but that's the price to pay for location. - The fridge in the room projects blue light and can get loud overnight, it would have been nice to be able to switch it off with a button instead of having to move it to unplug it. - Only a problem at night and if traveling with people, but when the light is on in the bathroom, it bathes the entire bedroom space in light even with the door shut, and you can see into the bathroom if the rest of the room is dark.

Si trova in un edificio storico al centro di Nizza ma abitato anche da persone poco affidabili. - Yannick Chaumont (10/5): - We loved staying at Notre Dame Hotel in Nice! We had to book at 10:30pm on the day of check in due to problems with our prior accommodation. They were super helpful and everything worked out great. The room was clean and looked great. The location is amazing due to the proximity of the Main Street and everything is in walkable distance. You feel safe in the area.

The self check-in and check-out process was extremely easy and efficient, you receive a code and don’t need to wait at reception or interact with staff, which makes everything very smooth. The location is excellent, very central and within walking distance to many attractions, as well as close to public transport like trains and buses. The room was well equipped, with thoughtful amenities such as a good hairdryer, a clothes steamer, a coffee machine, and even a small fridge for wine. There is also a convenient luggage storage option available for 5 euros, which is easy to access. The main downside is noise, if you are sensitive to it, this could be an issue, as sounds from neighboring rooms (especially above) are quite noticeable. Additionally, the elevator did not seem reliable during my stay, which can be inconvenient if you have heavy or large luggage, as you may need to use the stairs.
