• Ashanti (10/5): Lieu d’exception - Riad exceptionnel dans la médina. Le lieu en plus d’être sublime est un petit havre de paix frais à l’abris des rues bruyantes de Marrakech. L’accueil était chaleureux et professionnel. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles et décorées avec énormément de goût. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. On peut facilement rejoindre l’hyper centre à pied. Nous aurions aimé pouvoir profiter de ce lieu plus longtemps. Rien, juste à noter que les chambres tout en haut du Riad sont beaucoup plus chaudes quand les journées sont à 38 degrés et la Clim met un petit moment à rafraîchir la chambre.

• Raymond (4/5): Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans ce joli Riad bien localisé et joli avec un beau rooftop mais le fait d’avoir un - Très bon emplacement dans Marrakech proche de la médina, jolie décoration Nous avons eu une chambre au rez de chaussée a moins d’une dizaine de mètres de l’endroit du restaurant donc très bruyant et impossible de garder une petite fenêtre ouverte en raison de la visibilité. Donc très peu d’intimité et bruyant. Le lit pas confortable et grinçant

The location was just out of the Medina, making it easy to get to the attractions whilst being out of the noisy areas. This a place we would recommend to our families. Our room came with an impressive four poster bed which was very romantic. Stain glassed windows provided a really warm cosy vibe when the sun shined in. Communication with Zakaria to arrange airport transfer and dinner on arrival was great, and we were very well looked after by himself and Ali during our stay. We had a very short time in Marrakesh before starting a road trip, so only visited the Jardin Majorelle and had a wander around Geuliz, and the Riad was in a great location for doing this.

Viaje con mi padre y al ser un país nuevo y una ciudad nuevo nos daba un poco de nervios la zona en la que estábamos pero Ali se encargo de acompañarnos hasta dónde nos recogía y dejaba el taxi en las noches. • Karin (10/5): Perfekt, insbesondere die Gastfreundschaft!!!! - Vom ersten Moment fühlte man sich sehr wohl. Tolle Lage in der nördlichen Medina mit kurzen Distanzen zu den Treffpunkten bei Tagesausflügen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der „Nightmanager“ Ali, er hat uns alle Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen und verkörpert perfekt die marokkanische Gastfreundschaft. Er hat alles optimal organisiert, sei es die Ankunft, das Frühstück und unsere abendliche Teezeremonie. Nochmals Vielen Dank! Es gibt eigentlich nichts zu beanstanden, aufgrund der Bauweise ist die Unterkunft jedoch ein wenig hellhörig, daher bitte die Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen.

We hebben tevergeefs op de afgesproken transfer staan wachten bij het vliegveld Riad zou een chauffeur regelen maar deze kwam niet opdagen. Toen taxi besteld. Bij vertrek uit de Riad zou men als goedmaker(na veel mopperen) een taxi regelen om ons naar ons volgend hotel te brengen. De taxichauffeur had echter het verkeerde adres doorgekregen van Riad zodat we zelf weer een andere taxi konden regelen naar het goede hotel Heel jammer.

Ils ont tout de suite accepté de nous servir le petit-déjeuner à 6h30 alors que le service commence habituellement à 8h30. En plus, nous avons été servies comme des reines! I trust they are treated as they treated me..The wonderful room with its stylistic attention to culture and detail was one of the best rooms I have experienced., during my many years of traveling...Waking up to the sound of bird song and soft sunlight through Moroccan stained glass. was such a joy and made my first moment in Morocco truly, memorable. • Line (9/5): War schön - Der Personal war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war toll und die Atmosphäre Die Dusche im Zimmer lief nicht vernünftig ab und jedes Mal war das Bad überschwemmt. Die Zimmer waren recht klein. Die Lage ist zwar zentral aber dennoch weit von den hauptsächlich Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt.

• ORIETTA (8/5): - Riad caratteristico, molto carino e pulito. Ale e il suo staff ci hanno fatto sentire molto bene. Colazione tipica marocchina di buon livello. Posizione abbastanza comoda, all'interno della medina ma comoda anche per i transfer in auto. 20 minuti a piedi dalla piazza Jemaa el Fnaa ma meglio così altrimenti saremmo state nel caos dell'affollamento. Consiglio sicuramente. Grazie dell ospitalità Camera un po umida...ma teniamo conto che siamo all interno della medina

The breakfast was delicious and changed each day, but the best thing of all was the staff. They could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful and after a 3 night stay we were really sad to say goodbye. Hachim gave us such useful information throughout our trip and Ali was wonderful from giving us mint tea and cake (delicious) when we arrived, finding us umbrellas for the rain, serving breakfast and even showing us to the closest restaurant on our first night and taking our bags to the taxi stop on our last morning. We would recommend Riad Bab Yacout to anyone and look forward to returning one day. Nothing

• Javier (10/5): Bab Yacout rules! - Great front desk workers, everybody was kind and could talk good English or French. Ali was super helpful and would cook for us, prepare some tea, carry our luggage, or get a taxi for us. The Riad is beautiful - good old historical building in the Medina- there is a bright patio in the center and an awesome terrace with stunning views. Rooms were incredible, comfortable beds and relaxing hot shower, also with AC. Super fast room service, they can clean up your room in less than an hour. It can get pretty cold in winter, luckily the AC's got you covered! We couldn't enjoy the spa due to rainy weather, hopefully next time because we are definitely coming back!!
• Daniel (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay!. Everyone’s hospitality was absolutely amazing. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed with tea and made to feel at home. The riad itself is incredibly beautiful, and my room was huge, comfortable bed, excellent facilities, and a very relaxing atmosphere. All of the staff members were fantastic, especially Ali, who always checked in to see if I needed anything and was super friendly throughout my stay. He was excellent!! Everyone went above and beyond my expectations. This was my first time in Morocco, and they truly made me feel at home. Also the breakfast!! Was so delicious! It’s a real shame I could only stay for one night, but I will 100% be coming back. The riad is located in a quieter area of Marrakech, yet still within walking distance of the main square, a perfect location, especially if it’s your first time in the city. Everything about this place is just beautiful.
• Andrzej (9/5): - Very friendly, committed, and helpful staff available 24/7. Comfortable, firm mattress. Unlimited access to hot water at all times. Good-quality Wi-Fi internet. Efficiently functioning air conditioning (we used the heating mode in December). Clean rooms, serviced daily. Within a very short walking distance (approximately a few to several minutes) are the Jardin Majorelle and the YSL Museum. The RIAD is located in the medina, right next to the city walls. Just outside the walls, beyond the gate, only a few minutes’ walk from the Riad, there is a large local market with vegetables, fruit, and various goods (used by locals, not tourist souks), as well as a large stand for inexpensive taxis and buses. The airport is located nearby; however, due to traffic, the taxi ride takes approximately 30–40 minutes. The RIAD can assist with arranging a taxi; the fare to the airport is 16 EUR. Although the surrounding markets and shops offer very inexpensive, fresh, and seasonal fruits, vegetables, and other local food products, RIAD BAB YAKUT served the cheapest juices and jams from large, mass-market packages for breakfast, with a high sugar content. The lighting in the room was poor and gloomy. During our stay, the RIAD did not offer any SPA services. We were offered a New Year’s Eve event at our riad. The offer sounded very attractive – it promised a magical evening on the rooftop, a romantic candlelit dinner, beautiful music, and an elegant view of Marrakech. It was also suggested that the offer was limited. In reality, however, it turned out to be an ordinary rooftop dinner with a random mix of guests from various riads, at least some of whom must have felt confused, as they had dressed as if for a proper New Year’s Eve ball in Europe. Due to an insufficient number of participants at this RIAD, the New Year’s Eve event was moved to another RIAD — an important consideration for guests traveling with a small child. The price for New Year’s Eve was €42 per adult and €25 per child and included dinner (two starters, a main course, and two desserts). The music consisted of popular English-language hits played from a mobile phone. Tables were set up on the rooftop, where it was cold in December. The food was very tasty. The staff of RIAD BAB YAKUT escorted us to the event and back to the RIAD and engaged us in conversation; however, overall, the New Year’s Eve offer was weak or overpriced.

• Mateusz (5/5): Obiekt z potencjałem, ale pobyt irytujący. Cały czas coś było nie tak. - Obiekt jest bardzo ładny. Smaczne śniadanie. Smaczne danie na kolacje. Ładny taras na dachu. Potwierdzone zostały pokoje typu twin, a dostaliśmy 2 pokoje double. Brakująca kołdra. Proces check-in trwał godzinę, przez historie opowiadane przez recepcjonistę i wpisywanie danych z paszportu. Później obsługa próbowała rozsuwać łóżka, czym tym bardziej wydłużyła check in. W jednym z pokojów, w łazience pod prysznicem znajdowały się ptasie odchody. W drugim pokoju nie działało światło, co również sprawiło trudności w obsłudze. Jednemu z gości wyliczono ilość zjedzonych naleśników. Światło w pokojach ciemne - nie widać nic bez użycia własnej latarki. Brakujący ręcznik w jednym z pokojów - obsługa zamiast od razu wręczyć ręcznik, robi przedstawienie, mówiąc że ten ręcznik przyniesie do pokoju i znowu trwa to godzinami (prośba powtarzana wielokrotnie). Obowiązek zostawiania klucza do pokoju na recepcji, recepcjonista znika zostawiając zamknięte drzwi do obiektu. Trzeba stać i czekać długo w deszczu na wejście - uratowali nas inni goście słysząc pukanie do drzwi. Wymuszanie opinii przy wymeldowaniu - proszę bardzo. Oto nasza szczera opinia o tym pobycie.

• CampbellD (9/5): Lovely Riad in the Medina - Beautiful riad in the medina. When we arrived we were welcomed into the courtyard and served traditional Moroccan tea. The courtyard and rooftop were lovely places to relax away from the chaos of the city. The staff were welcoming and friendly, it had a real family feel and they helped us with local recommendations and tips for onwards travel. The room was spacious with heating/air con and a powerful hot shower. The decor throughout the riad is beautiful and calming.
