Guest Reviews
- Joanne (4/5): - That it was ground floor property so didn't have use stairs as I have mobility issues The outdated feel to it and plumbing and bathroom was very bad
- ian (6/5): - I liked the location toilet seat broke. no shower certain. floorboards need looking at. kitchen needs a good clean as corners grubby. doors no very sturdy so someone could get in quite easily if tried. washing machine kept making noises and wouldn't open.
- Sree (6/5): Stay was worthy with that payment and some concerns I mentioned above - Good value for that money When we reached the home already one car park in front of the property and we were parked our car in another space..washing machine was working with towels and linen when we enter the property..And the front door was damage and couldn’t open that properly..we used to move our things through the kitchen door and that was difficult due to no parking space 😖😖

- lucy (5/5): Disappointing - Location was great for where we needed to go. Photos are misleading! Its quite tatty in places like fixtures and fittings, no shower curtain, and front/back doors dont seem to be very secure. Untidy front/back garden area and no hot tub as advertised.
It could be lovely which was a shame. Also, needs a good deep clean like blinds etc...

- Brookes (5/5): - Run down not very clean and definitely not what it states on description
- Carla (3/5): Cheap accommodation in good location for transport. - Location is good, garden space was good. Damp and Mould in the kitchen. Nails sticking up between doors. No carpets. Meter door not locked. Locks on inside of kids room.

- Zoe (1/5): Absolutely nothing nice to say - Absolutely nothing the property was filthy it was that bad I had to pay to stay in another property it was very smelly the floors were disgusting there was mould all on the shower curtain there was a back door In the back bedroom where my two 6 year olds were meant to sleep and it had no key they could of easily got out in the night I felt dirty as soon as I entered the property I was trying for over 3 hours to contact the host who ignored all my calls and messages then he actually blocked me this is a warning to anyone that comes across this property do not book it states there’s a hot tube well the hot tube is in a shed filthy with a lawnmower on top of it 🤬 the host doesn’t care all I can say is he’s scamming people… Whole property was a disgrace

- Leonie (8/5): -
- Luis Fernando (10/5): muy cómodo - todo
- Dean (1/5): - It was 5mins from the high street of Charminster not that there's much to desire there anyway. Where do i begin...
The heating in the back room diddnt work, so my children couldn't stay in there.
There were two nails in separate locations sticking out of the floor of which I cut my thumb on and one of my children cut their foot on.
There was someone's bra left under the bed that my children were supposed to sleep in.
The metal floor rail in the doorway of the bedroom was sticking up and a definite hazard.
The TV had all audio and zero visual as well as one half of the stand being broken.
- jones (3/5): Disappointed - Location No hot tube as mentioned
Garden is in need of work, fence caved in and not secured
Leak in bathroom, mould, no hot water, property had holes in floorboards, also floorboards were uneven causing tripping. Everywhere was dusty, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while.. everywhere was grubby , food staining on walls , grime everywhere.
Smell of mould in bathroom and kitchen. Felt dirty staying there. Tv had a broken leg on it , causing more safety concerns. Will not be back. I will not be booking anymore through booking.com
- Gino (7/5): - It was very central to everything in the city The switch from the hot water in the bad was not working well
- Chris (2/5): did not have the funds to do that . When you pay to stay at a property, you expect it to be up to standard, sadly this - Bed linen was clean There was no hot tub as advertised as the special feature, this was packed away in a rotten garden shed . The garden was awful , it was an absolute mess with a fence which was about to fall down.
The property advertised a double bed and 2 singles.
We had booked a two bedroom property so we could bring my 89 year old mother in law . We travelled down from Lancashire on the Monday evening and intended to pick up my mother in law on the Tuesday (who lives in the New Forest ) and bring her for a lovely relaxing 2 night break .
This could not happen as
1 There was not a bed which was suitable for her to sleep in.
2 The entire place was filthy and in a bad state of repair.
Floor boards were loose, There was insects on window sills; cobwebs , dust on skirting boards, bathroom was gross, was leaking from either the bath, sink or toilet, and definitely needed re sealing around the bath.
Everywhere needed a deep clean , it was pretty disgusting.
There was a leak in the bathroom, not sure if from the toilet, bath or sink , but you couldn’t step in there in bare feet or in socks as you would be swimming in dirty water.
There was grime pretty much everywhere. Light switches , skirting boards , seat cushions, sofa cushions etc.
- Michael (8/5): Last minute booking and relatively cheap price. No frills functional accommodation. - WiFi connection, kitchen, and separate sleeping arrangements.
Communication was good with no hassle access via a key box.
Parking on road with no issues. Not really dislikes but some minor issues that made the stay slightly less comfortable. Double bed mattress very soft, living room sofa/sofa bed quite hard. Water leak in bathroom.

- Brown (5/5): Not worth the money! - Bed in double room was comfy, linen and towels were clean. Location was perfect for us! Fast WiFi, Google speakers so could put music on. The whole place was grubby, not cleaned well. Bath mat was dirty, no shower curtain in the bathroom but no taps for the bath so could only have a shower, water not overly hot. Lose floorboards, nails sticking out of flooring. Hot tub wasn't filled and ready on arrival, communication asking for me to do it myself! There is a leak under the sink causing extensive mould which took your breath away when you opened the cupboard to access the bin. Garden needs a lot of attention. Ash tray left on the garden table full of cigarettes. This has been communicated and advised cannot offer any type of refund without speaking to the owner, but I dont hold out much hope. Definitely not worth nearly £450 for 2 nights!
- Anisha (4/5): Feedback on Recent Stay – Issues with Cleanliness and Amenities. - There were some positive aspects of the stay that we appreciated. The location was excellent—peaceful yet conveniently situated—and the hot tub was a lovely feature that we enjoyed during our visit. Communication with the property owner was also responsive and friendly, which we were grateful for. However, we did encounter several issues that unfortunately impacted our overall experience:
1. The property was noticeably dusty throughout, which triggered my husband's asthma and allergies.
2. The sink in the kitchen was dripping and had visible mould, damp, and a horrible smell inside the sink cupboard as a result of the leak, suggesting it had been an ongoing problem and not addressed. Furthermore the property owner had placed a mug underneath the drip (suggesting awareness of the issue) which had filled (and had a dead fly in it) and began to overflow creating a slow drip onto the kitchen floor.
2. Whilst there is a washing machine in the property, there wasn't an acceptable clothes dryer/rack, which made it difficult to manage laundry during our stay, particularly for a family of four.
3. The shower curtain was also dirty, which made the bathroom feel unhygienic.
4. There were no cleaning tools provided—not even a hoover or broom—making it hard to maintain any basic cleanliness ourselves, especially as a family with young kids. The brush and pan that was provided was wet as it had been placed under the dripping kitchen sink and therefore couldn't be used.
5. We were only supplied with a minimal amount of toilet paper, which for a family of four for 3 nights was insufficient. Also, there was no toilet brush, which felt like an oversight in terms of basic amenities.
6. Lastly, the floorboards were uneven in several areas, which posed a safety concern for our children (a tripping hazard) and made walking around the accommodation uncomfortable.
Overall, the condition of the property did not meet the standards expected, particularly considering the impact on my husband’s health and the general lack of cleanliness and basic provisions.
While we genuinely appreciated the property’s good points, the issues mentioned above affected our comfort and overall satisfaction with the stay.
- shona (7/5): Met our needs as a family of four and dogs for a quick stop over. - The main bedroom bed was very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels provided. I would have liked to see a mirror in the main bedroom and a toilet brush in the bathroom 😆
- Valerie (8/5): -
- Javid (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (10/5): Tenpin bowling weekend - When we arrived was able to park outside. Easy access from your instructions. Interior of property was nice and clean. Beds nice and comfortable. Towels were lovely and clean. Good hot running water. Little touches like toiletries were good. Utensils all good. There was a hot tub in garden but did not use it. Positioned in a nice quiet area. No more than 10 miniutes drive from Bournemouth seafront. Over all had a great stay. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay.
- Paul (7/5): Good stopover in a quiet street, with comfy beds and a hot shower - Good location for where we needed to be
Short drive to the beach
Comfortable beds
Hot shower
Quiet residential street
Excellent communication from the owners Facilities are quite simple and basic, but as an overnight stop it was sufficient for our needs on this occasion
Also looks like the property is being updated, and the garden worked on and made more enclosed and private
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good - The accommodation had everything you need, the beds were good quality and comfortable. Some parts are in need of modernising, but this is reflected in the price.
- Lesley (5/5): Lots of maintenance needed - It was near to where we wanted to be The whole place needs maintenance. The garden was very overgrown and not secure for our dog. I'm glad we were only there 1 night.
- Tatiana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tatiana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a few nights away We would have used the hot tub if it was more secluded and private
- Mary (9/5): Was a lovely great place to stay - Close and very convenient to beach and shops
- Katarzyna (8/5): the price for the stay was great, we are happy that we could stay here - it was clean, the contact with the owner was very good, hot tube, cozy bedroom no clothes dryer, no garden furniture
- Ewan (9/5): Fantastic property in Bournemouth, will stay longer next time :) - The property was very well presented and had a warm homely feel to it. Linen and towels were very clean and fresh. Nothing to fault here, couldn't find a hairdryer but not an essential.
