• kirsti (7/5): - the location is amazing!!! really brilliant! host was very communicative and kind. nice to have a few basics for the kitchen and a welcome chocolate alwasy appreciated! host was super kind and allowed us in an hour earlier than check in which was amazing as we could leave our luggage and explore paris in the short time we had. the linen and cushions are not great, prefer a 100 cotton. but host was very communicative and said he would have replaced for me. the property is small but this is normal for paris, and steep staircases also par for the course especially in the marais. arm that holds the shower was broken so the hose didn’t hold its position when showering but shower was spacious with good pressure and warm!

• Antonio (1/5): SO SO BAD DONT BOOK THIS PLACE - DONT BOOK THIS PLACE, HE ASKS FOR DEPOSIT AND IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HOUSE THEY DONT GIVE MONEY BACK. I SLEPT THERE AND THEY CALLED BOOKING SAYING I DIDNT COME he always use same excuses like YOU DESTROYED THE HOUSE OR YOU SENT 250 MESSAGES... THE SINK IS CLOGGED SINCE 1 YEAR AS I SEE FROM REVIEWS, ALSO THE SHOWER ...THIS HOUSE IS FULL OF MOLD The house was really dirty, the host was very rude and uneducated. The bathroom was full of mold, the shower drain was clogged as was the sink's, after shower you could find water all over the bathroom...very little soundproofing, you could hear everything from the street, super inconvenient if you have a heavy suitcase. The house is on the third floor with very uncomfortable and also slippery stairs, I have traveled all over the world but this place was really the worst. To get the keys you have to touch a very dirty doormat with your hands, I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

• Stefania (4/5): Excellent location, but cleanliness was disappointing. - The location is great The bedsheets were dirty, and the apartment itself was not clean. Additionally, the shower was clogged, which made the stay less comfortable. Despite the excellent location, the overall experience did not meet expectations.
• Massiel (2/5): - The location, very central. Be very cautious regarding the security deposit. A €500 security deposit was required. After the stay, the entire deposit was initially withheld. Only about three weeks later, I received €350 back, with the remaining amount kept by the host. The justification given was dirty sheets and towels. The photos provided showed normal, washable stains that should reasonably come out with a standard wash. To this day, no invoice or proof of replacement has been provided, despite repeated requests. In addition to this, the communication with the host was unprofessional, which made the situation even more frustrating. While the location itself is pleasant, I would not recommend staying here due to the way the deposit was handled. Future guests should be aware of potential issues after checkout.

• Zsuzsanna (9/5): Joli appartement au coeur du Marais - Appartement au 3ème étage sans ascenseur, très bien équipé, calme et propre, décoré avec goût. L'hôte a été réactif et a répondu à mes questions avec aisance. Une caution est à ajouter durant votre séjour mais restituée en fin de séjour, à payer via un lien reçu peu après la réservation.

Everything you need is a walk away. The stairs were a little challenging but expected from the types of buildings in that location.

• Nikolina (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Le Marais, surrounded by charming streets, beautiful boutiques, and great cafés, yet still very peaceful at night. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, and check-in was easy. We especially appreciated being able to walk everywhere — most major sights are within 15–20 minutes on foot. Highly recommended.

In poco spazio, ma ottimamente gestito, tutto è confortevole: lenzuola linde e di lino pesante, arredamento cool fantastico, alla macchina per l'espresso. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Tutto perfetto
• lisa (10/5): Perfect for long weekend - Super location 👌 Small but perfectly formed! Clean and comfortable Good communication from the host. We were 4 ppl, 2 adults and 2 children. Managed with the sofa bed as didn't need to spend much time in the apartment as we were out exploring the whole time but ideally suited to a couple. Would definitely recommend, has everything you need. No lift - but to be expected in such an apartment block

• Nicole (10/5): Loved this place. We felt like locals. Love the marais.. - It was great location. Apt had everything we needed. Host was attentive. We were able secure early and late check in for a few which made life much easier. Apt was comfy. Livingroom a bit smaller so set expectations but it was perfect for us. We really loved our stay. Wish there was laundry detergent, and more towels and toilet paper. The shower head needs to be fixed but I’m sure host is on it. The host extremely attentive.

• Gaelle (8/5): Expensive for what it is, but cute flat - Amazing location in le Marais 1mn from place des vosges, very safe, top floor. Very clean and cosy, lots of natural light. The box to get the keys is very hard to open : you need to pull down a tiny lever while pulling the cover, I struggled for 5 mn until a neighbour helped me. The door lock is also super annoying, you need to jiggle the key for a while until it mysteriously decides it's time to open the door. The shower drain is blocked. Pillows are very uncomfortable. Too expensive for what it is but well, it's Paris.

• Beata (10/5): Lovely apartment in the heart of le Marais - It is a very cute property in the heart of the Marais (this is where I used to go out as a student). Very well appointed, modern walk up in an older building. Ideal if you want to feel like you’re in a more comfortable version of your late 20s and living in Paris. Actually nothing really. Paris is inherently very dense and so if you’re unprepared, small apartments may be a shock, but honestly this is pretty big and modern for where it is and the year or the building’s construction.

• Kate (7/5): It's all about the location - We booked this knowing it was small (it's tiny!), especially with our son sleeping on the lounge and with a baby cot squeezed into the bedroom. We were out exploring most of the time, so this didn't bother us. We also knew it would be tricky with stairs, the apartment is 3 floors up! with a baby & pram this took a little getting used to, but we managed ok. We nearly froze the 1st night when the heating didn't work, but after speaking with the host, they instructed us to use a small portable electric heater that did the job. The apartment is cute and tastefully decorated, but it's all about its fabulous location in Le Marais.
• Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable bed and the shower had great water pressure. The location, whilst surrounded by restaurants and shops was quiet at night. Marais is an interesting and well located place to base yourself.
• Donner (5/5): okay but overprized - the stairs to the appartment were old, small and beautiful very small, very windy and cold (one of the heaters was not working properly) and the fridge froze our yoghurt. Also I hadn't realized beforehand that the appartment was in the middle of an expensive shopping street, which is not my idea a good loctaion (but others may love that).

• Christina (10/5): Little gem in Paris - The location of the flat is just great! In the midst of the charming quarter of le Marais next to lots of restaurants and bars and good to walk to Notre Dame and other Sights. The flat is very nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. It is not big but very cleverly furnished so that each one had their space for the luggage. The bath is renovated and the shower is great. We loved our stay there and would always come back. The staircase is challenging when you have a lot of luggage but once you’re up, it is worth it!
• Jessica (7/5): The location was great and well decorated. Place was comfortable - Location was great, in the heart of higher end shopping in Le Marais. It was about a 8 minute walk from the closest subway station and about a 10 minute walk to the Seine. It was a well decorated room with a lot of items in the kitchen to cook if you wanted to. The view was great, the window opened up to a very cute view of the neighbor across the street that had beautiful french decor. There was no elevator so had to lug my luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The toilet was also separate from the shower, on the other side of the apartment. The sink in the shower room didn't drain at all so had to brush my teeth and get ready in the kitchen sink but it had no mirror so had to keep walking back and forth.

• Gaelle (9/5): Loved it - Location is amazing; the flat looks recently refurbished and is very clean with everything you need. Very airy, top floor, quiet for Paris! Contrary to other reviews I liked having the toilet separate from the bathroom, you can use it while your partner is in the shower. Bed is very comfortable. Check in instructions were very clear and communication with host easy. Nespresso machine. Nothing that would prevent me from coming back, but if I'm a bit fussy: the pillows are horrible, full of lumps. Fortunately there are lots of cushions so I used one of those, but proper pillows would be appreciated. The shower drain was totally blocked, the shower tray immediatley filled up and was close to overflowing. There were only 2 Nespresso pods, feels a bit petty. Towels were very small and thin. As with the pillows and Nespresso pods, it doesn't cost much to provide nice towels, which would be expected for the price of the flat.

• Mg (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great, for us its the best location for explore the city. Apartment is close to metro but also you can walk safely most places. Host is answering any question really quickly. Apartment is clean, tidy and comfortable.
• Corine (10/5): Attentive host, great location and comfy flat! - The amazing location. Le Marais is a lovely neighbourhood with nice boutique shops and restaurants. I only had small carry on bags and found the narrow stairs old and charming. Older travellers with large and heavy suitcases may struggle.

The host was very quick to answer any questions we had about the apartment. We did not cook anything, but there are pots and utensils to use. The street outside does not have any bars or restaurants close to the apartment, so we and our little dog slept well at night. The instructions for the radiators was missing, but we got help from the host. Be aware that it is an old house, so it is three narrow stairs going up to the apartment, which can be tricky if you have heavy luggage. This is very common in Paris, so not unique to this apartment.

• Philippine (10/5): Charming flat in a perfect location. Fantastic hosts. - The location was excellent and the apartment itself was peaceful and charming. Very light, good kitchen and bathroom. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating and helpful after another accommodation fell through last minute. Would definitely stay here again.
• Anna (9/5): Small and cozy apartment in a great location! - The place was clean and comfortable. The apartment is located in a really great location next to shops and cafe's. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom has it's own tv to watch shows after an exhausting day of sightseeings. It was nice to have a small kitchen to cook simple meals and a washing machine to wash laundry. The place had a very narrow and steep staircase leading up to it but the host was very accomodating and arranged a person to carry our luggage down. I was alone pregnant and was with a toddler, so I was worried to go down with them. It was quite cold in Paris and the place was quite cold when we got there but the radiators heated it up quite quickly.
• Raul (7/5): Location Location Location - The location can’t be beat. Right in Le Marais, near shops, restaurants, bars. The neighborhood is very clean and safe. Apartment was clean. Communication with owner was great. The check in was a bit confusing, but owner did send a video on how to check in. Toilet and shower were in two different rooms on the opposite end of the apartment which was a bit awkward. There is no A\C, but in the night if you open window it did slightly cool the apartment. There is no lift so we did have carry our luggage to the 3rd floor.
