- Pierre (10/5): - Tunda Lodge is an independent villa of the Seles hotel and 100 m from here which is really nice as you can enjoy the nice vibe, the breakfast, swimming pool etc. at the Seles but then you have you own little villa with very few rooms and a swimming pool so that it felt like it’s almost private. The room was really nice and we really enjoyed our stay there
- Petrouschka (2/5): Totally overpriced for bad quality - The staff were friendly and did their best. It was very disappointing from the moment we checked in. Tundra Lodge is operated by Seles Boutique Hotel which is next door ( the same owners). I asked if I could get my money back when I saw the condition of the rooms. They said it was wasn’t possible. It was shockingly overpriced for the standard of room. The double was 175 US a night (it was between Christmas and New Year’s so they definitely inflated the price of the rooms). Our room smelled of mold and there was a loud generator next to our window so we moved to another room that wasn’t much better. Garden furniture was falling apart. My husband went through a chair. The setting/grounds and furniture around the pool at the Tundra needed improvement. It was more a youth hostel vibe than a boutique hotel. The staff tried their best but the owners seemed to just hang out at the bar and they never made any effort with the guests even when their generator failed and guests were without power for over 9 hours. There were constant power cuts that lasted hours. We prepaid for 6 nights and felt it was a total rip off. Luckily we had better experiences at other places after Tundra on Zanzibar.

Service manchmal etwas langsamer.. aber ich denke normal für Sansibar Häufige Stromausfälle, wenig Kommunikation, durch Stromausfall fällt auch das Wasser aus. Der Preis ist viel zu hoch für die Art Unterkunft die man hierfür bekommt.. Räume ähneln eher Dunkelkammern..

- nadia (9/5): - Très bonne expérience, au calme comme je le voulais. Ma chambre était plutôt grande, aérée, disposait d'un mini frigo, d'une climatisation silencieuse, d'une moustiquaire (mais je n'ai rencontré aucun moustique). La piscine est super agréable. L'hôtel est à littéralement 20 mètres de la plage et 40 de l'hôtel Seles où l'on prend le petit déjeuner et où l'on peut également profiter des installations. Chambre nettoyée chaque jour, et le personnel y dépose chaque jour une grande bouteille d'eau. Je suggérerai juste de mettre des lampes de chevet et des balais dans les chambres afin que l'on puisse se débarrasser du sable que nous y amenons.

- EDUARDO (10/5): Ótimo custo-benefício - Ótima localização, ao lado da operadora de mergulho One Ocean. Ótimo restaurante para café da manhã, almoço e janta. Atividades variadas como música ao vivo e karaokê nas noites. Equipe muito simpática e prestativa.
- Kelly (10/5): Parfait ! - Hôtel avec restaurant directement sur la plage. Et quelle plage ! Du sable blanc à perte de vue, des bateaux et c’est tout. Si vous avez besoin de calme c’est l’endroit idéal. À savoir que l’hôtel se compose de 2 bâtiments : un bâtiment principal à côté du bar et du restaurant, certains soirs il y des animations genre karaoke ou musique live. Et un deuxième batiment un peu plus loin, au calme. C’est là que j’ai passé 3 nuits merveilleusement reposantes. Il y a une piscine devant chaque bâtiment. La chambre est propre et équipée d’un ventilateur au plafond et de la clim. Le lit était vraiment confortable, j’ai très bien dormi. Le petit-déjeuner coûte $10. Le restaurant est très agréable et la cuisine très bonne. Je recommande vivement ce petit paradis. Il n’y a pas grand chose à côté de l’hôtel.

Ac - - chambre spacieuse et grande moustiquaire. - villa séparée avec piscine privée au calme. - accès aux infrastructures de l’hôtel Seles car géré par le même patron : belle piscine en front de mer, staff très attentionné et aux petits soins, restaurant agréable. /

På grunn av få turister på Tunda Lodge fikk jeg tilbud om rom på Seles Lodge. Det er de samme eierne. Noe jeg takker ja til Jeg var der da det var urolige tider i Tanzania med en del demonstrasjoner. Det var derfor få turister på dette stedet og stemningen om kveldene var derfor laber. Over alt på Zanzibar er det mange som er svært pågående og vil selge deg ting. Så også på stranda ved Tunda Lodge

- Ana Margarida (9/5): Ao ritmo de Zanzibar - A estadia dividiu-se entre este alojamento e o Selles Hotel dos mesmos proprietários onde fazíamos as refeições e onde existia o bar e animação noturna. O pequeno-almoço é ótimo e os preços do restaurante são razoáveis. Os quartos são bons , num ambiente calmo em frente à praia que é boa ou muito boa dependendo das marés. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestáveis, em especial o manager Eddie. Foram 4 dias muito tranquilos onde pudemos sentir o ritmo Pole Pole de Zanzibar. Existem poucas espreguiçadeiras onde nos podemos deitar quer na piscina quer na praia. Não nos avisaram que existiam obras entre os dois alojamentos, o que se tornou um incómodo por causa do barulho durante todo o dia.

- FARIDA (6/5): Hôtel passable, mériterait un rafraichissement et un meilleur entretient de la piscine et du jardin. - L'hôtel est bien placé, quasiment sur la plage, mais légèrement en retrait par rapport au restaurant qui lui est en front de mer avec une vue magnifique sur la plage depuis la terrasse de la piscine. La chambre est très propre. Equipée d'un frigo et d'une bouilloire. Le personnel est très agréable et serviable. Restaurant très bon, mais un peu cher, le petit déjeuné était très bon et copieux. Restaurant bien décoré et agréable. Nous avions réservé deux chambres, dont une pour trois personnes, la banquette qui faisait office de lit ne bénéficiait pas d'une moustiquaire, du coup ma fille c'est fait attaquer par les moustiques, elle a fini par nous rejoindre dans le lit ou nous avons finalement dormi a trois pendant les deux nuits réservées. La seconde chambre était une chambre avec terrasse, vraiment très petite, ne bénéficiait pas de chaises et table comme les autres chambres, de plus la salle de bain est privative mais accessible via la terrasse, donc à l'extérieur de la chambre, ce qui n'est pas pratique. Une ampoule en guise de lumière, pas d'abat-jour, donc lumière agressive et pas de lampe pour compenser. De plus cette chambre n'avait aucune décoration, contrairement aux autres chambres, incompréhensible. Forte odeur de renfermé à notre arrivée, il serait préférable d'aérer avant de recevoir les clients. Aucun aménagement sur la terrasse à l'exception d'une banquette. La piscine de l'hôtel n'est pas nettoyé la journée et le moteur ne tourne pas, donc ne donne pas envie de s'y baigner, jardin tristounet. La piscine du restaurant est mieux entretenue et la pompe tourne, seule le restaurant est bien entretenu.

Il y a du thé et du café avec une bouilloire dans la chambre. Les deux piscines sont très appréciables, l’espace restaurant / bar est super sympa et les petits déjeuners excellents !
