Guest Reviews
- Mary Ellen (6/5): - Room was cozy and clean.
Cost was reasonable in comparison to other facilities in the area.
Location was convenient for the event we had to attend. Room was smaller than expected.
Very limited “instructional” information was available for things like operating the tv, microwave, heating system.
Cell and internet service was very limited.
If I hadn’t checked our email prior to leaving home at 8:30 am Friday I wouldn’t have had any information or access to the code for checking-in. It would be helpful if this information was sent out at least 24 hours in advance. Not everyone has a cell phone that can “read” QR codes. There is too much reliance on internet.

- Thomas (7/5): - I went in without necessarily having high expectations for what looked like an older motel block. However I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was completely renovated and had lovely solid wood furniture. The room felt cozy and just the right size for a single person. It was also easy to access from the parking lot. The main drawbacks were noise and light pollution. Traffic on the county road was consistent through the night including transport trucks. Additionally the blind was not really sufficient for reducing light. Having blackout curtains available would be a good option. I'm not sure what could be done about soundproofing or a noise barrier from the road but it would also improve the quality of stay.
- Cynthia (8/5): Perfect location, perfect price - Clean, easy access, parking , location and price Restaraunt closed Monday and Tuesday
- Lisa (10/5): Excellent - Clean and good price
And beside ward one which is amazing Nothing
- Mark (10/5): - Love this place we stay once a week sometimes No parking signs in front of the room are needed for Rooms only the restaurant needs more parking its super busy
- Lisa (10/5): - Owner easy to contact and very flexible Cute room
- Detina (9/5): - Nice place and close to Guelph but not inside b It was cold. Although there was a heater it was still cold.
- Mark (10/5): All ready have more niights booked - The space was exactly what we needed the restaurant ward 1 is top notch will be back many more times thx The parking in front of of the rooms needs to be displayed for Rooms only
- Mulligan (9/5): A great get away - Very clean and well kept and very homey Highway
- Susan (8/5): A cute, quiet space. - This is a great spot just outside Guelph and still pretty close to Kitchener. I like restaurant next door, which wasn’t loud and closed at 9, so it was quiet.
The bed was comfortable, everything g was spotless, and I felt safe with staff at the restaurant and others staying in the other rooms. It was a bit cold, so I turned up the heat, which helped a lot. The highway was close so I heard a few cars, but I’m a heavy sleeper so it wasn’t a problem.
- Sheila (7/5): Overall it was ok. Nothing to write home about to be honest. For the price, drive into town. The hotel is in the middle - Parking in front of the unit No blackout curtains. Super bright room for sleeping due to outdoor lights. Not relaxing.
- Deanna (8/5): -
- David (6/5): - Clean and basically all as advertised. Probably the coldest room I have ever stayed in so I wouldn't recommend in the winter. Even with the heat set at 83 degrees it took over 6 hours to warm up the room. Tall ceilings probably contributed plus near the floor it was always cold. No closet just a couple of hooks on the wall.
- Lorrie (9/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Joel (10/5): Perfect. - Amazing spot for the value. Nothing negative
- Wendy (6/5): - the room was clean the internet was not available after a couple hours being there, no soap for the washroom
- Konstantinos (4/5): Noisy - Omg noisy Omg noisy
- Anthony (8/5): - Decent value for 2 people; has decaf coffee and other amenities available. Could be noisy at certain times of the day, but quiet at night.

- Sepler (10/5): - I like the location. It is located between towns and very quiet and peaceful. It is also close to a BBQ house. The only thing I did not like was the shower pressure. It was low and seemed to waste a lot of water. Other than that, it is perfect for a couples getaway.
- Anchit (7/5): -
- Kevin (7/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Will definitely look to stay here again when we come to the Guelph area. - Quaint, quiet, and well-appointed accommodation. The weather was cold, so an extra blanket or two in the unit would have been appreciated.
- Dale (8/5): Great value and a nice spot. - For a 1/3 of what we could find in Guelph, we got a clean, recently refurbished room just minutes from Guelph & Fergus. No lenghty check-in, just a key pad entry. Be sure to eat at the attached restaurant, Had a great meal there. Booking.com sent us an incorrect key pad code causing a bit of a meltdown, until we phoned the host's number and quickly received the correct code and a hearty apology. You might want to verify the code with the host just in case.
- Joydeep (8/5): Nice place for a quick travel break - Comfortable
- Wendy (10/5): Owners were very accommodating and allowed for a change of dates with only 24 hours notice. Their generosity and flexi - Restaurant attached to the tow of suites is not affiliated but staff were kind and helpful around check-in and access. The Room was clean, bright, and warm. As a tea drinker it was A lovely surprise to find a new kettle. Polyester sheets.
- Diana (10/5): Cute, little place - Small but nice and good people
- Elizabeth (7/5): -
- Epp (9/5): - Clean, comfortable and bright room. Small but not cramped. Convenient location between Guelph and Fergus.
- Margarita (7/5): -
- Doriana Aprile (8/5): - Posizione e pulizia Assenza di asciugacapelli
- Elizabeth (9/5): - Bright clean room with generous coffee and tea Lots of road noise except in the wee hours
- Pitre (8/5): - Fat pillows.
- Magumbe (10/5): Excellent! - I loved the location, close to a restaurant. Bonus! The room was nice and clean! N/A
- Tito Bhuiyan (7/5): - Very nice modern room with a bbq restaurant attached.price was reasonable. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the lodging for you. Motel is located on a busy road with traffic.
Owner/ management is not available. Communication is not the best. Emailed the door code but didn't specify which room. Seems to be an ongoing problem the restaurant staff seems to deal with.
- Nadine (9/5): Ideal für die Durchreise - Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ideal. Unkomplizierter Check in.
- Juan Daniel (8/5): Good stay! - Simple, clean, and cozy room. Easy check in/out process with clear instructions. Great restaurant right next door. Close to Elora, Fergus, and Guelph! Noise level from the road but I understand that can't be helped with the location.
Also, would suggest having teaspoons in the room for making coffee/tea.
- Putri Satiti (8/5): - Room and shower are clean and smell good :) The facilities are also complete, with netflix channel made our stay was enjoyable. When we came inside the room, some flies already there in the ceiling, maybe when somebody (before) open the door they didn't realize some flies came in and stay in the room.
- Andrea (8/5): - Super clean and great decor.. The room is small but had everything we needed.
We would definitely stay again and were happy they were able to accommodate us for a second night. There were no black out curtains.
- Angela (8/5): -
- Peter (7/5): Good for the price, - Cleanliness and price Double bed and you could hear the traffic
- Alisha (10/5): - Clean and cozy.
- Carlos (9/5): -
- Todd (9/5): It was perfect. For sure will stay again if in the area - It was very simple and basic but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was super clean which was awesome. The hosts were amazing. Very accommodating and quick to respond to any concerns. The attached smokehouse restaurant had amazing food The traffic noise was annoying at first but got used to it quickly and at night it died right down
- Curtis (2/5): thanks - there was no breakfast because the restaurant doesnt open early enough for breakfast. the traffic doesnt allow a late waking hour people are so hard working that i was kept on a working persons schedule so for relaxation the air conditioner became my friend. finish the place and get on with it ...
- Sonia (6/5): It met my needs for the night but was not up to the standard that most Booking.com places are. - No communication in advance to let me know which room I had and the code to get in. No answer when I called the contact number. I was fortunate that someone walking by who knew the owner called to get the info. for me. The sink was dirty and the bathroom garbage had not been removed. There was a dirty take out food container being used as a try for a mug. There was no tea/coffee maker or toiletries as advertised.
- Stacy (9/5): Perfect lil spot to stay on the go. - The room was beautiful and modern. Bed was super comfy to. This place would benefit with sound proofing the rooms. I heard every single little noise outside our room.
- Priscilla (8/5): Place to stay for wedding cose by - Was staying for wedding few miles away ,was clean ,bed comfortable but only a double Like a queen for our body size Lots of supplies Just need a note left where to find them (was in dresser drawer), sometimes I don't use the drawers then would maybe miss them Check in all on line ,text messages exchanged how to get into room with code password for wifi Check in and out times sent by text message Any questions just text No office open there Noisy at times rt on highway at stop light intersection Quiet bit more after 12.Would like a room darking curtain over the nice blind ,street light and morning sunshine came through the windows Had high chairs at small high table with my total hips didn't try to get up on them ,ⁿno ice machine noted around might have ice tray but didn't notice Need silverware Spoon to measure coffee and stir with for making coffee .TV little different ,no guide looks like apps only
- Curtis (8/5): June travels - Everything The traffic
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Roman (10/5): Loved the stay - Experience a super clean room that offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. You'll find a pristine bathroom, a TV for your entertainment, and reliable Wi-Fi to keep you connected, among other thoughtful amenities. Noise from the highway, but i had a set of earplugs
- Jennifer (10/5): I would stay here again, it is next door to a restaurant. - The room was neat and tidy. Easy to get in touch with the host. It is located by a busy road, but I was not bothered by the sound of traffic, and I am a light sleeper.
- Jenna (8/5): Cute, convenient and an affordable option to stay! Easy check in. Would stay again :) - Nicely decorated and cute! I liked that there was an actual kettle and instant coffee or tea with mugs. 10 minutes away from Fergus which was great for my work needs. Adjustable full length mirror was a nice touch. Nice lighting in the unit as well. Easy check in. I came in late and was able to access my room via a lock pad code. Very convenient! It is a little loud next to the highway. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. Some people ripped up the highway making a lot of noise. It being a Friday night maybe didn't help. It took me awhile to get the heater going as I hadn't used one of those systems before. Eventually I realized it just takes a bit to kick in. Some instructions might be helpful or a note that it takes awhile to kick in.
- John (8/5): I would and probably will return, if needing a place near Guelph or Fergus. - The mattress and linens and sheets suited me , very comfortable.
Pocelin coffee mugs , tea bags and water glasses where a nice touch. A little noise from traffic,
I was not able to figure out how to use TV, but I had my lap top and great wifi.
- Bruce (10/5): Would recommend will use again when we return - Owner was very nice. Room was very clean and colour coordinated. Small but comfortable . Close to Fergus and Guelph We are from a small town so we heard traffic at times but slept well.
- Tony (8/5): Very satisfied. - We needed a place to stay after a wedding in Elora. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a lovely and super clean room! Well lit outside and in. Little extras made our stay very pleasant. Exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend. There is traffic noise since this building sits on the corner of two country highways. Ear plugs or a white noise machine/app would be very beneficial.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emilija (8/5): Very good - The room was perfect for what we needed it for the weekend. Very cute room with quite a spacious mini fridge (unfortunately no freezer), the room was very clean, the sheets were very soft and comfortable to sleep on, they provided towels and even shapoo and conditioner! The host was VERY responsive and accomodating. The only thing is because of the location at night it can be quite loud with the cars driving down the road (80kms +). Along with the fact that there is a smokehouse attached to the building which means that there was additonal noise from people walking and talking right outfront of our window.
- Torhffi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Epp (9/5): Cute Clean Rooms - Lovely little room, especially for the price. Short drive to Fergus or into Guelph. The restaurant also had delicious smoked meat!
- Jubin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Mark (8/5): In town for family business. - Brand new. Cozy. Looking forward to trying restaurant and micro brewery in the future. Quick drive to Guelph or Fergus for food and shopping. Very busy road , but the room was not noisy with door closed.
- Susan (9/5): Great - loved location highway noise
- Rostyslav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brandy (9/5): Excellent - Everything was great about the room so welcoming. The only thing I would suggest is coffee creamer because there wasn’t any in the room.
