- Nicholas (7/5): Nice pet friendly condo poorly managed by a third-party - The condo was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The location is excellent to have quiet without being too far away from Main Street and the lifts during ski season. Pet friendly is huge. The instructions for check-in were a bit confusing. The property is managed locally by Vacasa and the staff is awful. Check-in was surprising with a $35/night parking fee although the listing states it’s free. Vacasa didn’t care and said they no longer provide free parking. There was also some miscommunication between Avant Stay and Vacasa regarding a water leak to a unit below where it was communicated to me that Vacasa went into the condo while we were out to dinner to turn off a toilet. I left dinner seeing that our pets were in the unit and to ensure we too didn’t have a water issue. I went to talk to the Vacasa staff and strongly stated they have no permission to enter the unit without contacting me first to which they claimed they called me 8 times and I never answered. When showing them my call history they became very rude and then said they entered an adjoining unit not ours and I need to calm down and figure out with Avant Stay what happened.
