• Jean (10/5): A very pleasant stay and I’d happily return. - Stayed 2 nights at La Maison Rabelais and really enjoyed my time here. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and spoke perfect English, which made everything easy from check-in to recommendations around town. We had forgotten to request twin beds when booking, and although they couldn’t separate the bed, they kindly offered us 2 separate blankets which we appreciated. The location is excellent — walking distance to the city center and the main attractions in Amboise, making it very convenient to explore on foot. Breakfast was also very good with a nice spread for 19 euros. I also liked that guests can refill their water bottles, and the hotel clearly makes an effort toward sustainability by offering many amenities only on demand. A small note: they don’t provide conditioner, and the 2-in-1 body wash/shampoo was a bit drying, so I’d recommend bringing your own. Parking is available for 15 euros per night, and they also have parking spaces for bicycles. We didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked lovely.

The location is great, and on-site parking is a real plus. Breakfast seemed expensive, but it was good. There was no air conditioning, which could be challenging in the warmer months. In April, we were able to cool the room by opening the windows.

• atabolich (9/5): - Overall, we had a very positive experience at the hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city center. We also really enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting at the château’s wine bar - a great opportunity to try local wines. As a nice bonus, we received a free room upgrade. The only downside was the bed setup - we had booked one matrimonial bed but were given two double beds pushed together, which slightly affected our overall accommodation experience.

• shaun (8/5): Welcoming & polite staff!!! - Staff were very welcoming and polite throughout our stay. We found the facilities good, it was clean and bed was comfy. The location was perfect for us, as we were able to explore the area. Having parking onsite was great for us, we parked up and checked in before we went to explore Amboise. Breakfast was ok but limited due to it being low season. But overall no complaints from us and would stay here again.

• Moran (10/5): Perfect winter wonderland - The staff, the coziness, the location, breakfast was nice and the total environment. The charging station for the car is not applicable for international credit cars, which made it impossible for us to charge when needed...
• Patrice (8/5): Un établissement de grande qualité, bien situé et à l'accueil parfait. - Emplacement parfait en plein centre et pourtant très calme. Chambre - même simple - grande, très bien décorée et confortable. Lit exceptionnel. Personnel courtois et attentif. Attention : même "réservé", l'emplacement de parking ne peut pas être assuré si vous arrivez tard, des "squatters" pouvant occuper les places. Néanmoins, un parking public est à proximité (payant). La direction cherche à régler le problème. Bien penser à se faire expliquer le fonctionnement de l'éclairage dans la chambre et l'utilisation de la télévision sous peine de rester dans le noir... Le personnel le fait avec gentillesse. ;-)

Personnel très aimable. Dans les studios, l'absence de plaque de cuisson fait défaut. Des voilages aux fenêtres au rez-de-chaussée seraient judicieux ainsi qu'un écran de douche pour ne pas tout éclabousser.

• Lee (10/5): Elegant boutique hotel with secured parking space - This property is located in a quite street not far from the center of Amboise. The secured parking space it provides is excellent; there are even a few spots for electric cars. Getting in and out of the parking lot is also very easy. The bedroom is large enough as it has a space for luggage at the entrance, which is a huge plus. The bathroom is of good size and it has a walk-in shower with a FULL DOOR. The breakfast is decent. The hotel staff (at the front desk and in the breakfast room) were all very courteous and professional. I would definitely come back to this hotel the next time I travel through this region . Nothing

• Aurélie (8/5): - Nous avions loué un logement pour 4 personnes : l'espace est correct, les équipements de bonne qualité, le lit de la chambre très confortable . L'appartement est bien agencé. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent avec des produits de bonne qualité et variés. Dans la salle d'eau, les flacons de produits d'hygiène disponibles étaient vides à 80%. Nous étions 4 et sommes restés 2 nuits , nous n'aurions pas eu assez. Heureusement, je prévois toujours mes propres produits. Raison pour laquelle nous ne l'avions pas signalé. Dommage que dans un appartement permettant de prendre ses repas, on trouve de la vaisselle mais seulement un couteau et une fourchette.
