Guest Reviews
- Gijsbert Maarten (4/5): -
- Brown (4/5): Watch your wallet - Being on the beach was nice Everything extra cost more from paper in bathroom to changing cabaña at the beach. Beds were hard. Aircon barely worked so roo. Almost same temp as outside. Fridge didn't work. No pot to boil water or coffee.
- rowe nil (8/5): - near the beach private parking is outside not on the property itself
- Joy Susana (9/5): Near the beach, good enough but can be improved. - Beachfront location, good views since we are at the third floor. Attentive staffs. Small room, air conditioning unit a bit hot, no TV inside the room, karaoke noisy past 10pm being used by the other room guests.

- Gordon (4/5): - Location It was a typical Filipino hotel which was more expensive than I would normally pay. I didn't realise that dogs were allowed in the hotel so no chance of a lie in.
- Roel (7/5): - The staff, our room is very near from the beach. karaoke noise, parking is too far from where we are staying, too crowded
- contredanse (7/5): A simple stay for a good location - Location is close to the beach. The room I chose is comfortable (twin bed, with a fold out bed underneath), with a shower and aircon. 2nd floor has an okay view of the water. I have to preface this by saying given the price, the time of year (late December) affecting price, and the location, the resort was okay. However, I have to list the things I noticed. The water from the shower wasn't freezing, but no hot water was available. There's no food at the resort, but the friendly staff will help you order food from a nearby famous restaurant (featured in a travel vlog with a largish traditional media company) with okay variety of local Filipino food. Payment is cash only, no change. Order all food before 7.30pm as the restaurant closes early. No bath or beach towels are offered, bring your own. No toilet paper, no free shampoo / soap / conditioner / toothbrush and tooth paste. No hair dryer. Parking is 150m away from the resort (a few mins walk). Streets to get to parking are tight.
- Mheanne (6/5): Booked Dec 26, 2025 - Cheaper than any other accomodation in Laiya. The staff are accomodative. Its not beach front. No TV @ both rooms for us to still enjoy our stay when in the room. The other Room we booked has foul odor in their bathroom. The veranda in the second floor has no great view of beach . It was blocked by the water tanks.

- illither (8/5): Worth staying for the proximity to the beach and friendly owner. - I liked how hospitable the owner was. She was easy to talk to and it was evident she has many loyal customers that also booked the same time we were there.
I liked how close the place was to the beach and that there were plenty of beds inside the room (1 bunk and 1 double size). Room was spacious and has a balcony where you can eat your dinner or lunch.
AC was great, which is high on my non-negotiables. It kept the room cool and comfy.
You have the option to order at a nearby restaurant and have your food delivered to your door. I didn't like how outdated the bathroom was. It could use an upgrade. I am very particular with the bathroom so this was below my expectations since the room was quite nice. Rusty drain and showerhead. No heater. There is also a mosquito problem so I was a bit anxious since I had a baby with me.

- Gina (4/5): - I like the beach there it was clean and the staff was good and the Aircon. The accommodation it was too old need a renovation and even the bed was too old. No television.
